- JovGeo made his first edit on 1 May, 2020, on the article "Lover (Taylor Swift song)". Tyler Swift Boii made his first edit on 12 June, 2020, on the article for its parent album.
- After an artwork was removed from the song's infobox, JovGeo uploaded another (now deleted) live version cover for it on 10 June, using an Indian IP to add it to the article. Tyler Swift Boii created his account two days later, and also confirms he is Indian on his user page.
- Both users state they love pop music on their user page.
- Almost all their edits are tagged with "Mobile edit Mobile web edit"
- Both the users have uploaded several Taylor Swift artworks, and notably none of them have the ideal dimensions 300x300. They are all oversized jpg files, which are very uncommon as png uploads are preferred. ([1], [2])
- Neither use edit summaries.
- Neither is fluent in English, and have made notable Grammar mistakes, with JovGeo making one in the edit summary here, and Tyler Swift Boii making several in this post.
- JovGeo had uploaded the "Lover" cover on June 10, which had been nominated for deletion the next day. Notably, one of Tyler Swift Boii's very first edits was asking how to upload an artwork in the Teahouse, specifically mentioning that he wanted to upload the "Lover" artwork.

[edit]- Declining case, though it took a lot of thinking to do so. While both accounts are clearly fans of Taylor Swift, most of the evidence is weak (the lack of edit summaries and weak English aren't particularly distinctive). Additionally, I don't think we've actually breached WP:ILLEGIT, since as far as I can tell they have not interacted in a way to hide edit-warring or create a false consensus, and only one has been active in project space (the Teahouse post). My gut feeling is that these are either unrelated or are people who know each other, but I do not think this is the same person. Closing without action. The accounts do have a few similarities—the way they name their uploads, for example, seems peculiar [3][4]. Since the accounts have edited the same articles at around the same time, this would be a WP:ILLEGIT situation if they are the same person. I think the evidence here was enough to run a CheckUser. The two accounts are

Account created less than 24 hours after prior socks were blocked, made its first edit to a Taylor Swift page (Enchanted (Taylor Swift song)), all of its edits are tagged with "Mobile edit, mobile web edit", uploaded a new version of File:Taylor Swift - Enchanted.jpg (originally uploaded by one of the socks), uploaded useless alternate artworks for Swift songs (like File:Taylor Swift - ME! (Live from Paris).jpg) which Tyler Swift Boii did often, and also defensively claims that it is a "first time user" on its user page (which an actual new user would never do). .NOT GUILTY. I'm innocent of this sock puppet issue. I would like to explain each and every accusations which you had said. Firstly, about the Enchanted artwork, that artwork is not at all fake and it is sourced. You can find it in the source section of this artwork. The image size of the first version of this artwork was more than 300 and I assume that the person who uploaded it was aware about non-free images rules so, that is why I uploaded the latest version of this artwork (WP:NFC) . Next I'll talk about "first time user" accusation, I believe every person has their own way of speaking or TEXTING so, that accusation is ridiculous and lame and I wrote it because as I'm an inexperienced user, I need help and support from other users which are experienced especially, you MaranoFan. And lastly, there's a ME! artwork, I uploaded this artwork because this artwork is different from the original and it is NECESSARY. Overall, I'm not at all guilty with this case and I have no regrets. The only truth which he said about was that I'm using the Indian IP address as I'm from India. It is outrageous for a person who torture a 17 yr old, this make me feel depressing and stressful. Forgive me if I have done anything contrary to the rules.

Red-linked user, obsessed with Taylor Swift, all edits tagged "Mobile edit, mobile web edit". Uses "Boy" in its account name similarly to "Tyler Swift Boii", along with "Lover" (the name of Taylor Swift's new album), and the year "2002" (which would be JGJ's birth year since he was 17 years old. Obvious behavioral similarities include adding extensive lists of accolades to Taylor Swift articles ([5], [6]) and updating tracklists/artworks for alternate editions of Taylor Swift albums ([7]).
