Suspected sockpuppets

For completeness, the following includes disused accounts. Kashmir2 (talk · contribs) created Suzanne Olsson in 2005. R.Tabor (talk · contribs) added many links about Olsson in 2006–8 e.g. [1] in 2007–8. NewYork10021 (talk · contribs) contributed exclusively on this topic on talk pages in 2008, for one week only (20–24 May 2008). Katchu2 (talk · contribs) also contributed to Suzanne Olsson on 23 May 2008.

Although Suzanne edited as Kashmir2 on 16 May 2008,[2] Kashmir2 claimed on 23 May 2008 to be her grandchild.[3] On 24 May 2008 SuzanneOlsson stated on Katchu2's user talk page that Kashmir2, Katchu2 and NewYork10021 were family members sharing computers, and apologised for the resulting confused edits which had given the appearance of sockpuppetry.[4] She also undertook not to use multiple accounts again.

The article Suzanne Olsson was deleted on 20 May 2008 per Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Suzanne Olsson (2nd nomination). Katchu2 re-created it (see User talk:Katchu2), and it was deleted again on 23 May 2008.

SuzanneOlsson created the second article Suzanne M. Olsson in 2013. After this she was placed under a topic ban from writing anywhere in Wikipedia about Roza Bal,[5][6] a key topic of Olsson's research ("this is the cause I have dedicated my life to" [7]).

Suzanne openly edited as 66.177.27.120 from 2012 to February 2014,[8] but only on talk pages after the topic ban. This was despite an intention stated on 10 May 2013 to desist from editing.[9]

Granada2000 created the third article Suzanne Marie Olsson as her first edit on 20 July 2014. The editor is new but refers repeatedly to prior experience on Wikipedia. This appears to be a new sockpuppet account to circumvent the topic ban. Like SuzanneOlsson (link above), this editor draws attention to religiously-motivated attacks on shrines.[10]

Granada2000 makes objections to any material which is critical of the subject (e.g. here) which are very similar to those by SuzanneOlsson here.

TrevorMcB is a new account that contributes only on this topic, mainly on talk pages in defence of Granada2000. He draws attention to threats and assaults,[11] as did SuzanneOlsson.[12]

 Clerk endorsed. I'd like to confirm that the two new accounts are related. I'm also interested in sleepers (for example, see Cecilxvz (talk · contribs · count). I've changed the master because I don't buy the granddaughter story, and the Kashmir account is older by years.   • TrevorMcB (talk · contribs) is on the same static IP address, and uses a different versioned computer and browser, but still the same web browser. There is some oddness to the results with TrevorMcB, and i'll get another CU to comment here. Suzanne Olsson has been blocked for socking with Brainydad. She was blocked this morning and 12 hours later a new editor shows up. I have blocked User:Sunami70 per WP:DUCK, as it appears obvious to me that they are User:SuzanneOlsson, or just possibly — but unlikely, IMO — closely connected with her (see WP:MEAT). Their comments at this version of Talk:Roza Bal show it, both their views on Roza Bal, their impassioned defence of Suzanne Olsson, and their rant against opponents (the style there is very reminiscent of the behaviour of Suzanne Olsson before she was indeffed). They flew into a rage when a user asked the simple question "Are you the editor who used the account User:SuzanneOlsson?". Behaviorally, I don't see that there's any reasonable doubt. Checkuser isn't possible, as all previous known socks are too old, nor is it necessary, in my opinion. Bishonen | talk 21:05, 23 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Three new accounts today since 6:20. Bluefinboy was first[26] removing critical material from Fida Muhammad Hassnain. 18 minutes later Magnificant Music edited Unknown years of Jesus[27] to add a book by Suzanne Olsson (article deleted, editor by that name banned[Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/IncidentArchive786#Topic ban on user SuzanneOlsson] and then Kanberra shows up to add unsourced material to Roza Bal.[28] All 3 subjects have been targets of repeated sockpuppetry. I'm asking for a CU for sleepers. I'm involved in the article and although I might rationalise a duck block, I can't do a CU.
