On 30 December 2010 User:Kj650 was blocked indefinitely Disruptive editing: Reference desk troll. Kj650 mostly made edits to the Reference Desks, and particularly the Science Desk. User:Tomjohnson357 also mostly makes edits to the Reference Desks, and particularly the Science Desk. Tomjohnson357 asks trollish questions at the Reference Desk eg trolling1 and trolling2.

There are other similarities between User:Kj650 and User:Tomjohnson357:

Kj650 rarely made a substantive edit to his Talk page. Mostly he blanked the page:
blanked the page; blanked the page; blanked the page.

Tomjohnson357 also makes few substantive edits to his Talk page. Mostly he blanks the page:
blanked the page; blanked the page; blanked the page; blanked the page.

Kj650 posted several new questions in which the title was a single alphabetical character:

Whether the same user or not, Tomjohnson357 has been contributing in a disruptive way, and has not responded to discussion or warning messages on his talk-page requesting that he change his behavior. Kj650 is a prolific Red Desk troll with a propensity for creating new accounts. He simply waits out the autoblock of his prior account, and starts a new one. Wdk789 is an account created two days after the most recent sock of Kj650 was blocked, and for the past few months has displayed the same sort of trolling behavior at the reference desks. The history comparison between Wdk789 and the prior known accounts looks kinda ducky (asking short, easily answerable questions at WP:RDS, often with 1-word titles. Just asking for a checkuser to confirm and to root out any sleepers which may have also popped up since the last checkuser. I agree that contributions from Wdk789 have detracted from the value of the Reference Desks. Not one of his edits can be offered to mitigate this serious criticism. It is likely that User:Lufc88 and User:Joshuad95 are also current sockpuppets of Kj650. See contribs and contribs. Dolphin (t) 04:24, 15 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
