GHJ79I8 was registered a couple weeks after MagellanAquarium got an indef block. Same article focus (articles on Dallas neighborhoods, particularly Kessler, Dallas). Identical use of edit summaries: MagellanAquarium, GHJ79I8. MrOllie (talk) 12:39, 30 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Also - I know you folks don't link IP addresses, but MagellanAquarium has previously been blocked for evasion on 2600:1700:7B81:D500:0:0:0:0/64 (block range · block log (global) · WHOIS (partial)) - MrOllie (talk) 12:57, 30 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Noting that the original account was blocked not for LOUTSOCKING, but for edit warring - once temporarily, once indefinitely. Master is stale, but sock is very obvious. Blocking, tagging, closing. Girth Summit (blether) 13:05, 30 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oh, misunderstanding - it wasn't the account that was blocked, but the /64 range. No comment on whether the new account is operating out of that range; I'll leave the range for now, since there haven't been any logged out edits from it since last year. New user here. Not sure what you are talking about. I listed all the of changes I made in the edit summary including correcting apparent mistakes that the previous version have. The previous article had issues including conflicting information about year of annexation, unquoted/unreferenced content, and duplicating neighborhood list. My edit simply corrected the errors and added more content with reference. Hellowhatsyourname (talk) 23:35, 4 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

More apparent block evading sock accounts. Similar username to last blocked sock, GHJ79I8, and strong overlap of articles - suburbs of Dallas, and adding back the same images as previous accounts.
