Suspected sockpuppets[edit]


I am listing Mayank123456 srivastava as the sock master. Although he is a member of Category:Wikipedia sockpuppets of Mayankvivek, his account predates that of Mayankvivek. The Mayanvivek account was created on 23 January 2019. The Mayank123456 srivastava account was created on 18 October 2018. All accounts in that category, plus Mayankvivek, are globally locked for cross-wiki abuse and socking.

Both Vivek ji123 and Mayank123456 srivastava have created/edited various permutations of Shiv Ram Singh Inter College, including adding "Residential" to the title [1] [2], [3]. Ditto confirmed Mayankvivek sock Hindustani raja (talk · contribs) [4]. Ditto कुमार मंयक (talk · contribs) who was check user blocked as a sock of Vivek ji123 by Ponyo in November 2019 [5]

Vivek ji123 headed his comments on my talk page, "Please talk me" (sic) [6]. Mayank123456 srivastava used the same heading on another user's talk page [7]. Vivek ji123 also created the now-deleted "article" Mayank123456 srivastava [8].

Crosswiki: Observe the older verson of Mayank1234567 srivastava's user page infobox on the Hindi Wikipedia [9] Google translation. It has exactly the same biographical information as a recent version of Vivek ji123's user page here [10]. The photographs were different, but they clearly depicted the same person. Vivek ji123's photo was File:Vivek_ji123.jpg. He had it deleted from Commons yesterday, after I questioned him about his relation to Mayank1234567 srivastava [11].

Sandhyasrivastava126 is possibly a bad-hand account. Observe the common element "srivastava" in all three account names. (Vivek ji123 had previously tried to move his user page to User:Vivek srivastava [12].) Sandhyasrivastava126 registered an account two days ago [13], and within half an hour had showed up at a very obscure article created by Vivek ji123 (The Village Song) and removed the infobox [14]. He then blanked Vivek ji123's talk page archive [15]. After Sandhyasrivastava126 blanked the talk archive, Vivek ji123 made no attempt to restore it. He had clearly visited that page [16] after the blanking and after I had posted a warning to Sandhyasrivastava126 and informed him of that warning.

I have included the four IPs for informational purposes and because they indicate more good-hand/bad-hand behaviour. All four resolve to the same ISP (Jio} and location (Uttar Pradesh). All four have exclusively focused on pages created by Vivek ji123. Like Vivek ji123 who has added spurious page protection templates to pages, e.g. [17], the IP 2405:204:A601:102F:0:0:1E5D:B0 attempted to add spurious page protection templates to Vivek ji123's talk page archive [18] and Vivek ji123's article The Village Song [19]. The IP also attempted to remove a PROD notice from Talk:Shiv Ram Singh Inter College [20]. The IP 2409:4063:428A:2D27:0:0:1F7:C0B1 repeatedly removed the maintenance tags from Shiv Ram Singh Inter College [21], [22]. The IPs 2409:4063:4286:2896:D59B:CA02:9A9:C988 and 2409:4063:4286:2896:395A:CB0E:44EB:BA5B concentrated on repeatedly blanking parts of Shiv Ram Singh Inter College, [23], [24]. Note that Vivek ji123 has also repeatedly blanked all or parts of articles he has created, e.g. [25], [26].

The sock master account is stale, so his relation to Vivek ji123 and Sandhyasrivastava126 will have to rest on behavioural evidence. However, given the previous prolific socking, I'm requesting a check user to look for sleepers.
