Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

MePhisto only has a few edits on Sciences Po but there has been long history of IP POV pushing as ONUnicorn confirms there. As a recent example, CLCStudent reverted here an edit made by the IP I listed, in the line of what MePhisto wrote but MePhisto added the title back.

XIIIfromTOKYO seems to have a similar dispute content in the Sciences Po page and with Launebee, and only had one edit on Wikipedia English in 2020 but is bizarrely intervening in the Sockpuppets investigation MePhisto opened there, without any reason to end up there. Update MePhisto has very few edits but is using below abbreviations that he seems to know well: SPI, CU procedure (I don't even understand this one). --Delfield (talk) 09:50, 13 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

XIIIfromTOKYO[edit]

This is connected with Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Launebee, where Delfield (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · spi block · block log · CA · CheckUser(log· investigate · cuwiki) is under investigation. Launebee was an extensive user of red herring tactics, so I'm not surprised to see that Delfield has starting a thread on WP:AN but also here.

I don't have any issue with this CU request. So if MePhisto also agrees, this investigation could be done quickly. XIIIfromTOKYO (talk) 14:05, 12 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

MePhisto[edit]

I am also not surprised by this attempt to denigrate the SPI against Launabee/Delfield. Please do go ahead with the CU-procedure.

In response to User:Delfield: "CU-procedure" clearly was referring to "Check-User-Procedure". It's not some form of advanced Wikipedia-knowledge. This investigation is a strategic manoeuvre, in order to denigrate the current investigation against User:Delfield and to distract from it. I'd be more than happy to get over with the CU-procedure. I'm from Hamburg, Germany, User:XIIIfromTOKYO is from, well, Tokyo. We are definitely not the same account or in any way affiliated.

Clerk, CheckUser, and/or patrolling admin comments[edit]

  •  Clerk note: Both did show up at the same SPI, but other than that I see no evidence that these are the same person. A brief review of their contribs also does not give me strong reason to believe they are the same person. Closing without action. GeneralNotability (talk) 18:05, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
