Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

Block evasion - puppeteer started his edit war yesterday with this edit to AltNews.in: [1], and escalated into edit warring, page blanking and an indefinite block. Sockpuppet Mukul Miya California has just made a near-identical first edit: [2]. This page has had a lot of edit warring and POV pushing in recent weeks from other WP:SPAs, so I'm not 100% sure of the puppeteer account. The Mighty Glen (talk) 11:47, 6 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

AltNews.in has now been semi-protected for two weeks, and User:Mukul Miya California has now been indef blocked. The Mighty Glen (talk) 13:25, 6 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Worth noting that many of User:Nishant California's edits [5],[6],[7],[8],[9], and most of User:Mukul Miya California's edits [10],[11],[12],[13] were attempted justifications of the actions of User:Aditya menon22. That account is one of two WP accounts mentioned in a reference in the article, a Tweet by the site owner about how the article has been vandalised: [14] . Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

Duck. Nearly all contributions since account creation yesterday have been requesting edits to semi-protected AltNews.in, with 12 separate requests so far at the talk page, most of them in the last four hours. They started out as vague rants about neutrality[15],[16] but when pressed for a specific edit cite, replied with same OpIndia opinion pieces as puppeteer has been repeatedly adding: [17],[18],[19].
