Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

Account appears to be created solely to weigh in on the ongoing Twitter → X renaming discussion. Some of this account's edits are suspect, particularly these: implying they have participated in the discussion previously and implying they are aware of other accounts incorrectly moving pages. Given that one of the sockpuppeteer's previous accounts 'has' attempted to move the exact page mentioned as well as a few others, this account's actions leave little doubt in my mind that they are connected to this sockpuppeteer. Misterunknown24 (1) has edited a same article as TheMasterMind321(1, 2) after taking part in the same discussions regarding the Twitter page move request. The replies were a disagreement to a potential sixth account, Editior23, which stopped being active after another user accused it of being a sockpuppet. The disagreement could have been made to make it seem as though they are separate accounts as both accounts have similar but rare notices on their talk pages (1, 2). Considering the edits, mutual interest in sports (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) and style of English, it is possible that all six accounts may belong to the same sockpuppeteer. Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

Account follows the same pattern as established by other socks, being created solely to weigh in on the ongoing Twitter → X renaming discussion. This edit is suspicious to me in that it was established so recently after another suspected sock's comment. Admittedly, I am less sure about this account given it only has three edits, but this user does have a documented history of attempting to sway discussion in their favor. Requesting CU to confirm my suspicions. GSK (talkedits) 12:50, 20 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Further evidence in favor of Misterunknown24 being a sock. These are behaviors that TheMasterMind321 (and related socks) also exhibited on numerous occasions. GSK (talkedits) 22:10, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
