Suspected sockpuppets [edit]

Evidence submitted by HelloAnnyong [edit]

Recently Wyvren (talk · contribs) was permblocked for attacks and general disruptive editing. It was also confirmed that Wyvren was editing as 97.82.45.48 (talk · contribs). Anyway, several days after their block, they made edits on Akins and Altar (Wicca). Akins was Wyvren's main place for combative editing, but towards the end his editing veered into Wicca-related articles. Edits like this are similar to this made by Wyvren as an IP. It should also be noted that Wyvren sockpuppeted on Commons as Ravenlaird, where he uploaded Wicca-related images and then would add them to articles on the English Wiki. There was a Commons checkuser that ended with a block for Wyvren as well. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 03:08, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, a bit more. Wyvren confirmed several times that his name is Steven Akins (e.g. this edit on RSN). Per this page, Akins has written under the name "fer-doirich" on several forums. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 03:15, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This editor's only edits are to Akins, a relatively obscure family name article. The article is about Wyvren's lineage, and was focused on validating it as being very old, and so on. Comparing these edits to this or this, for example, the focus was on surnames. Actually, I think the most telling proof is the reuse of a link to worldfamilies.net - it had been in older versions of the article. As a side note: I won't act on this case, as I was heavily involved with the Akins article. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 00:06, 10 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
