Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

Ok, this might be all coincidental, but I feel like I am seeing a duck:

Yoyocarsonyo and MintyFresh201 both have an interest in football and creating new articles about football clubs. They both have created/recreated several German football club articles. Often, these articles are sent back to draft for the same reason: notability and lack of references. Both have similar English language skills. There seems to be a pattern of poor translation of German articles and mixing up information.

Yoyocarsonyo stops editing around 8 April 2024 and MintyFresh201 starts editing 24 April 2024. CU incase there was another account. -- Classicwiki (talk) If you reply here, please ping me. 05:11, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Adding two more accounts, Loganmascarenhas and Loganmascarenhas20. Based on the username both of these accounts might be related. Loganmascarenhas, created 7 April 2024 and stopped editing 29 April 2024. Loganmascarenhas20 created 28 February 2024 and stopped editing 11 April 2024. There is this same pattern of move/edit warring, having their articles rejected in AFC, and claiming that they can not find reliable sources for the article they are creating. All dealing with football articles, especially defunct ones. Pattern of not responding on their own talk page.
  • Loganmascarenhas tries to add archives to their User page here and similarly MintyFresh201 adds an archive to their talk page here.
  • Loganmascarenhas can not find a reliable source for their football article here and same goes for Yoyocarsonyo here.
  • Similar edits on Ecuador Women's National Under-17 Football Team and trying to move that into the mainspace.

    • There is a bit of inconsistency in the user's claim that Loganmascarenhas20 was created by accident. The account was created first, before Loganmascarenhas.       • I apologize for the misinformation, to clarify, I believe when I accidentally created Loganmascarenhas, I meant to log in as Loganmascarenhas20 but got confused with my username or some other information. I think I got confused with which account I created first as both have a similar username.

Hello Classicwiki, I see in my alerts that there is a Sockpuppet investigation, against me and Yoyocarsonyo. I just wanted to clarify that the only interaction I have ever had was for creating the article FV Dudenhofen and using some aspects of the draft that he had used. I would be happy to provide any other necessary information for this investigation.

Hello Classicwiki, I just wanted to claify something I saw on the investigation page. I created @Loganmascarenhas and @Loganmascarenhas20, the latter being by accident. However, the reason I created my current account was because I forgot the password for my @Loganmascarenhas account and also this username discloses personal information. I hope this helps with the investigation.
