- At Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Tmpafford it is confirmed that Tmpafford is editing from 65.66.204.17. No confirmation or explicit lack of confirmation was reported for the other two IP numbers. —SlamDiego←T 18:10, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- IP number 65.66.204.17 is persistently assigned to a domain owned by Tmpafford. (Please see the evidence at Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Tmpafford about this. (I hesitate to present it repeatedly or bluntly for reasons that should be clear on review.) —SlamDiego←T 18:10, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- As Tmpafford and as 65.66.204.17, he has repeatedly been warned to halt. —SlamDiego←T 18:10, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- I strongly urge
- that Tmpafford be blocked until he agrees to refrain both from vandalism and from any further use of sockpuppets (since he has used them abusively).
- that the IP 65.66.204.17 be subject to a block of a year or more (to be lifted within that period if it is reassigned to a domain not seen to be owned by the same individual).

- As to his assertion that he forgot to sign-in prior to the anonymous edits, the pattern shows the opposite, which is to say that he made all of the vandalistic edits anonymously until one point at which he forgot to sign out before making one. —SlamDiego←T 18:17, 18 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

- Conclusions
After investigating this report, it appears highly likely that 65.66.204.17 is an IP sockpuppet of Tmpafford. The second and third IPs also appear to have been used by this editor, however as their last edits were 93 and 91 days ago respectively, no action is necessary for them. Otherwise I am implementing the following:
- IP blocked for three months
- Semi-protected the article for ten days
- User(s) blocked. for 48 hours (in addition to his current block for edit warring)
Hopefully this will resolve the issue. Otherwise the primary IP may need to be hard blocked and/or the article protected for an extended timeperiod. --Kralizec! (talk) 23:03, 18 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
