AOC didn't make it in despite her Twitch stream of Among Us (!), which was watched by at one point four hundred thousand people, and neither did Ariana Grande, who recently released a single. Rather, lice on rats on a horse corpse on fire 2020 stuff came up, with the final moderator for the 2020 Presidential shouting match series coming up #1. And the usual moving picture things. And QAnon. Oh and actually, surprise, UFC 254. I don't like being beaten up.
Rank Article Class Views Image Notes/about 1 Kristen Welker 1,443,494 The moderator for the last of the 2020 US debates for #23, with election day rapidly approaching. Welker's performance was praised by members of both parties.
2 The Haunting of Bly Manor 1,252,492 Victoria Pedretti has been through a lot in just two years: traumatized by a haunted house, part of the Manson family, stalked by a psycho... and now she deals with creepy orphans in this adaptation of The Turn of the Screw. 3 Sacha Baron Cohen 1,215,348 Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, the sequel to the 2006 mockumentary film Borat (#19), was released to Amazon Prime Video on October 23. The film features Borat Sagdiyev (Baron Cohen), a Kazakh television host, travelling America with his teenage daughter (#18). Baron Cohen also starred as #11 in #9. I haven't seen it, but I assume it's hilarious.
4 Borat Subsequent Moviefilm 1,198,795 5 Joe Biden 1,110,580 Biden is the Democratic nominee for President this year, and (at the time of writing) is just over a week away from facing off against President Trump. The polls are looking good for Biden, with Five Thirty-Eight giving him an 83% chance of victory. 6 Chicago Seven 1,096,352 The Chicago Seven were a group of seven (eight if you include Bobby Seale) public figures charged with crossing state lines to incite the 1968 Democratic National Convention protests. At the time, it was seen as a show trial by the Nixon Justice Department, and now, it's been dramatized for Netflix. 7 Three Red Banners 928,659 The logo of the Biden campaign (pictured here) has three red lines. A meme comparing this to a Maoist slogan is, apparently, very popular. 8 Harshad Mehta 907,204 The perpetrator of the 1992 Indian stock market scam is the subject of the appropriately titled SonyLIV series Scam 1992. 9 The Trial of the Chicago 7 872,083 Aaron Sorkin's retelling of the trial of #6 was released to Netflix on October 16. As one of the only movies to come out this year, it's probably gonna walk away with 3 Oscars. 10 Khabib Nurmagomedov 801,099 Better to leave at the top, thought this Russian MMA fighter who decided to retire with an undefeated record (something probably harder to do on MMA than boxing, where there's at least Rocky Marciano and Floyd Mayweather Jr.) of 29 wins after the latest UFC event (#16). His adversary, Justin Gaethje, couldn't even enter this list at #26. 11 Abbie Hoffman 792,225 Abbot Howard Hoffman was probably the most famous of #6 - just in the year and a half after the trial retold at #9, where Hoffman is played by #3, he interrupted The Who at Woodstock, and released best-seller Steal This Book. 12 Deaths in 2020 778,770 As my life flashes before my eyes
I’m wondering, will I ever see another sunrise?13 Mirzapur (TV series) 775,668 Combining India and the other big streaming service, Prime Video, a series about the mafia in the region of Purvanchal starring Ali Fazal (pictured). 14 Hunter Biden 695,077 The Rudy Giuliani Email Drip has given us more Hunter Biden gossip. 14 2016 United States presidential election 694,646 I'm sure you can remember where you were when you realized Trump was gonna win. 16 UFC 254 690,065 MMA continues to hold their events at the United Arab Emirates. 17 Jeffrey Toobin 655,851 Toobin, a writer for the The New Yorker, was caught with his toob out on a work Zoom call on October 19. This inspired some very Smart Twitter Intellectuals to debate if it's okay to masturbate while at work. 18 Maria Bakalova 649,978 A day before the release of Borat Subsequent Moviefilm (#4), the review embargo on the film was raised. The lead story was a scene where America's Mayor Rudy Giuliani goes back to a hotel room with Bakalova (who he believed to be a reporter,) lays down on the bed and sticks his hand down his pants (according to him, he was tucking his shirt in.) He is then interrupted by Borat bursting in the room, saying "She’s 15, she too old for you!" Maria Bakalova is 24 years old, for the record. Her character was the 15 year old. The Top 25 Report is in no way implying that Jeffrey Epstein's lawyer is a pedophile.
19 Borat 639,639 20 Donald Trump 633,991 The incumbent president is tailing in the polls, and may lose to former Vice President Biden on November 3. His party also has control of most swing state governments, 6 of 9 Supreme Court justices, and the Senate, so I wouldn't hold my breath. 21 Tom Hayden 633,454 Another one of #6, who would later marry Jane Fonda, and is in #9 played by Eddie Redmayne . 22 Sokushinbutsu 562,787 Reddit is clearly making up for the pandemic cancelling Halloween by reading on disturbing topics, such as Buddhist monks turning themselves into mummies through starvation. 23 2020 United States presidential election 547,375 If you intend to vote this year, you probably should've already sent in your mail-in ballot by now. If you want to vote in person, you should probably vote early and vote often; otherwise, you'll end up waiting in line for hours on November 3, while some will insist that that's what democracy looks like.24 Rebecca (2020 film) 542,365 Daphne du Maurier's book that already led to an Alfred Hitchcock-directed Best Picture winner was adapted again for Netflix, this time directed by Ben Wheatley and starring Lily James (pictured) as a newlywed having to deal with her husband (Armie Hammer) not being over the title character, his deceased first wife. 25 QAnon 541,627 While this conspiracy theory continues to be targeted by the right parties - along with social networks, the House of Representatives passed a simple resolution condemning it! - it continues to be supported by #20's fans, and the man himself hasn't exactly denounced it.
