Why do you want to start a new group, instead of joining one of these existing groups?
regional wikiprojects usually Rate these articles as low priority along with wikiproject trains. Most articles aren't covered by wikiproject UK trains.

  • @Barnoldswick1: Why have you not filled in the section "List of WikiProjects currently on the talk pages of those articles" above? Are you not aware of WikiProject Greater Manchester, WikiProject Trains, WikiProject UK Trams, or WikiProject Wales? --Redrose64 (talk) 23:53, 31 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • I fail to see how this would be anything more than a subset of WP:UKRAIL. What benefit is gained by hiving these articles off into a separate project? You say "Most articles aren't covered by wikiproject UK trains." You're talking about a project entirely about rail in the UK - what part of that is not covered? -mattbuck (Talk) 01:18, 2 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
