CORPORATE HISTORY

The Marinette, Tomahawk & Western Railway Company was incorporated on October 9, 1894, under the general laws of the State of Wisconsin, for the purpose of acquiring and extending the property of the Wisconsin and Chippewa Railway Company. The latter company, which was incorporated on July 29, 1891, under the general laws of the State of Wisconsin, disposed of its property, rights, and franchises by sale to the Marinette, Tomahawk & Western Railway Company on June 30, 1898. On November 21, 1906, a trust deed was entered into between the Marinette, Tomahawk & Western Railway Company, and Edward Bradley and James W. On November 30, 1909, the property passed into the hands of C. H. Grundy, as receiver of the Marinette, Tomahawk & Western Railway Company.

On November 30, 1912, the property of the Marinette, Tomahawk & Western Railway Company was purchased by R. B.
