In Hall Sapphire and Diamond Necklace, there was an eight word phrase exactly matching a source. Not long enough (IMO) to trigger legal copyright concern, but WP takes a tougher position, and I thought it was a bit long. I then decided I had a nice solution, as some of the words described the cut, and I thought they were simply wrong (in retrospect, unlikely), so I removed the cut description. However, after looking closer, I realized the cut description was for the diamonds, not the sapphires, and was accurate. So I added back a separate sentence discussing the cuts, thereby restoring the information, but avoiding a direct copy.--SPhilbrick(Talk) 13:45, 20 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
