{{tempundelete}} vs. {{drv}}

I'm newly interested in DRVs, and wonder if there is any difference in usage of the above two templates? If so, it should be clarified in the instructions about temporary undeletion, and if not, they could probably be merged (although I'm even less experienced with TfD!) They are used or two different things. The first is for where the article was deleted and that's being reviewed. The article is replaced entirely by the template as the article remains "deleted" throughout the process. The other is used when the article was kept and the template is added - hence the instructions about editing, not blanking the page etc. which would be inappropriate for deleted articles. --5.152.198.170 (talk) 13:16, 27 December 2013 (UTC)

Template:Olddelccc

Template:Olddelccc (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) may be useful where consensus was to merge and there were few participants in the deletion discussion. For the specific case which led to this, please refer to the following:

As I've noted on my talk page, the last time I remember taking a merge to DRV I was directed to the article talk page.
