Note: To conserve electrons and the muscles in my typing fingers, and to avoid annoying those who get annoyed by RfA spam, I’m posting this message in a few centralized locations instead of sending a message to everyone who participated. If anyone would like their own, personalized copy posted on their talk page, please let me know (a small handling fee may apply).

Mt. Rainier has absolutely nothing to do with RfA, Wikipedia, or an expression of "thank you", but there’s no such thing as too many pictures of Mt. Rainier, and it is my note, so I can put whatever I want in here.

Choices, choices… Delete today’s featured article, block Jimbo, or type "poop" in a protected template? So many choices…

Thanks so much to all who participated. Advance warning to the admins: I now consider all of you fair game if I find that I need to pester someone to help figure out a tool. In trade, I offer my services to any non-admins: if you find you need admin help with anything, let me know, and I’ll do my best to help, or point you in the direction of someone who can.

Special thanks to MastCell, Pedro, and Dreamafter, who were kind enough to offer to nominate me, and to DHMO, who surely would have if it had occurred to him ahead of time. I am somewhat embarrassed by the glowing nominations and will try to live up to them.

Rather than head off to AIV for a celebratory block of a vandal, or to CSD for a satisfying deletion of a spam page, I think I’ll start off slow, quietly poking around admin school for a little bit, blocking poor User:Barneca sock 1, and deleting pages in my user space. I don’t want to anonblock Dubai or the toolserver or something. If, in spite of my trying to be careful, you ever have a concern about any admin action I make, my door is always open.
