How about a map of the region? Sca (talk) 22:03, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Involved units

[edit]

i see a list of involved units in the first battle. could someone add it to the others? Sanguin13 (talk) 15:00, 4 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The final Battle of the Isonzo is also known as the Battle of Caporetto. German units supported the Austrians. Should there not be a reference in one form, either in the text or down at the bottom, to this Battle of Caporetto? which exists in the Wikipedia?Menckenire (talk) 02:55, 29 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Casualties

[edit]

While both in the World War I infobox, and here in the text with reference the number of casualties of the TOTAL WWI is about 600/1200 thousand Italian/Austro-Hungarian lifes, which contradicts the sum of the table later in the text, which shows much higher casualties only for this battle (series): 950/520 thousand. So the number of casualties of the battles should be revised strongly! 89.132.194.169 (talk) 11:22, 14 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Central Power victory?

[edit]
Why are Isonzo battles considered separated from the rest? In the West the fact Entente was fighting in Marna in 1918 was not considered a defeat — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.8.171.79 (talk) 19:36, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, but discussing here about who won the 12th battle has no value as long as the WP article on that battle calls it a Central Powers victory. If you want to change this, get that that article changed first, by first finding sources that say something different, and then discussing it on talk on that article's talk page, not here. (And a hint: any such sources must include the whole battle, not just the last exhausted bit of fighting after retreating 100km and losing four times as many soldiers.) Until then, this article must reflect the battle's main article. --A D Monroe III(talk) 22:55, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Where are the sources for that articles to say "end of Isonzo Campaign"? Such distinction never existed — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.5.217.177 (talk) 17:11, 13 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
