Fairness Doctrine

[edit]

It's not explained how the subject was supposed to have "opposed the Fairness Doctrine" (under Civil Liberties under Political Positions) when that doctrine was abolished just after he turned sixteen years old when he was in high school and held no office. The statement is not sourced, so I deleted it. If an editor can find a source they are welcome to put it back. ---- Work permit (talk) 19:05, 1 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced material, tags, and assessment

[edit]

I remove the unsourced section and July 2016 "BLP unsourced section" tag. The B-class criteria (#1) states: The article is suitably referenced, with inline citations. It has reliable sources, and any important or controversial material which is likely to be challenged is cited. Any format of inline citation is acceptable. A tag is a challenge. Bobby Jindal's name (first entry)

[edit]

I wanted to check that the consensus is still that the first entry on Bobby Jindal should be Piyush "Bobby" Jindal .... Recently, the first sentence in the lead was changed to Piyush Jindal. I did some searching in the archives, and the issue seems to have been discussed at Talk:Bobby_Jindal/Archive_1#Placement_of_nickname_in_lede and Talk:Bobby_Jindal/Archive_1#Jindal.27s_name.

My interpretation of these discussions is that the consensus is that the first entry on Bobby Jindal should be Piyush "Bobby" Jindal .... This makes sense to me since it also seems to follow MOS:NICKNAME. Is there a need to establish a new consensus, or is that still the consensus? palindrome§ǝɯoɹpuᴉןɐd 03:56, 26 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
