We Remember Amanda Collette

On a day that should have been just another ordinary day at Dillard High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the community faced an unimaginable tragedy. Amanda, a vibrant and beloved student, was taken from this world far too soon. Her loss, stemming from a heartbreaking incident on November 12, 2008, reminds us of the fragility of life and the impact one young soul can have on so many.

Amanda was not only a daughter and a friend but a shining example of what it means to live a life filled with grace and kindness. Known for her warm smile and radiant personality, she brought joy and love to everyone she encountered. Her life was a reflection of divine love, a testament to the deep faith that guided her every action. In remembering Amanda, we find inspiration in her ability to spread kindness and joy. She embodied the grace she so freely gave, affecting lives in ways that continue to resonate. As we reflect on her life, we are reminded of the importance of compassion, understanding, and forgiveness in our daily interactions. A panther taking too soon.
