The article clearly needs a photo. Since satucket.com does not list the source for its image, I found a similar one on the cover of her google books autobiography (in 1913, hence now free from copyright), and downloaded it. However, I don't have time today to crop the title off and upload it to wikimedia, much less read it, except for the intro which mentioned her children. They presumably are the reason Gaudet moved to Chicago, but I also could not find mention of her grave there, though I noticed in that one new Orleans cemetery listing has several Gaudets who died fairly recently but were born possibly near the time of her children). Since VTS is closed for its Christmas break, I can't consult the African American History collection there, and was disappointed (but not surprised) to find that the historic St. Luke's parish in New Orleans does not have a wikipedia article BTW, perhaps reading the autobiography will show whether she used the hyphenated name or not. From googling her name, it seemed to go both ways, hence this edit shows some of my confusion.Jweaver28 (talk) 14:14, 30 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
