There is no explanation as to why this has been declared a "myth", nor inclusion of arguments to the contrary. NipponGinko (talk) 06:30, 25 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The overwhelming majority of uses of the concept "myth" implies false assumption 130.206.158.161 (talk) 10:07, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. Can you bother reading Political myth now. More specifically the first sentence. SuperΨDro 17:18, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I had already read it, several times. And I still think the word myth has a derogatory connotation attached. The expression 'ideological narrative' makes it sound fictional and disconnected from real facts. That's why it would be nice to find some historical analysis of the myth, as NipponGinko suggests. 130.206.158.161 (talk) 07:23, 9 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You are wasting your time. Not only is "myth" not a derogatory term in all cases like you think, but it also is the WP:COMMONNAME for this topic. "Habsburg Myth" has 827 results in Google Scholar [1], it is a very solidly established term in academia. There is quite literally nothing to do or gain from this thread. And NipponGinko did not suggest such a thing. SuperΨDro 07:48, 9 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
On the contrary, this thread is going to be extremely useful for anyone wondering about this wiki article. 130.206.158.161 (talk) 08:21, 9 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
