Then and now
[edit]The history of the various organizations using the initials PNI is rather complex. Is there enough historical continuity to add details of the current PNI (PNI-Marhaen) in this article or not? And what about the dissolution of the original PNI? Any thoughts anyone? If none are forthcoming, I plan to expand this article to cover all the PNIs in the interests of completion given the forthcoming election. Any comments welcome. Marhaenism
[edit]@Vif12vf , I don't think Marhaenism was very popular back then, it wasn't the official ideology of this party. Mhatopzz (talk) 02:00, 9 October 2021 (UTC)
article split
[edit]In june it was suggested to split this article:
- Indonesian National Party (1927)
- Indonesian National Party (1945)
- Indonesian National Party (1946)
The split/separation of the one into three, needs more eyes I think, I do hope other might join the discussion. JarrahTree 09:57, 24 July 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose In my opinion, the 1927 PNI, while important, did not do enough or last long enough to merit its own article, while the 1945 version lasted only two weeks. I think keeping all PNIs in one article provides enough context for the 1946 reincarnation and avoids unnecessary splitting that would produce two tiny articles.
