laminar air flow cabinet is developed from its primitive type biological safety cabinet ... which were using formalin fumigation... then please do mention of it... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Govardhanks (talkcontribs) 06:49, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Flowbox

[edit]

A flowbox used in optical labs is, in principle, also a laminar flow cabinet and looks very similar to those described in this article. Should then links to "optical" flowboxes lead to this article, or should another article be created? For now I have created a redirect-article Flowbox. --texnic (talk) 22:36, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

pictures and NSF 49 not true

[edit]

The Picture is actually a Biological safety cabinet. It is neither a vertical laminarflow nor horizontal laminarflow cabinet.

2.)NSF 49 is not for Laminarflow, it is a standard for Biological safety cabinet, class II.

3.) Laminarflow cabinet is not Biological safety cabinet
