Old discussion[edit]

See Talk:Akatsuki (Naruto)/Archive 3#Why isn't there a real artical for Sasori yet?. --Ru.spider 09:04, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Akatsuki info[edit]

The info list on the right should include all the info that is still on the akatsuki info list (ring, ring position, all that). The reason it's not on Oro's main article is because he's deserted Akatsuki. Sasori, while dead, is still in the group, and his Akatsuki info should be present both here and on the Akatsuki page. Grrblt 21:29, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think that would require a template modification to the already huge infobox. Why is so much info in that table to begin with? --tjstrf 21:34, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You have a point Tjstrf why is the info box so huge? You have a point too Grrblt there should be something like that in the info box but it's just too big already. Sam ov the blue sand 21:41, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cyborg?[edit]

Should Sasori be added to the Cyborgs in Fiction list? Although created by a mystical power, he kind of fits the description. His mind was transfered into a humanoid puppet body through his heart(via some kind of jutsu), which has a lot of mechanical functions. 70.121.150.225 19:58, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, a cyborg, to my understanding, is a half man, half machine thing. Sasori is not a machine (well unless you count a puupet as a machine), so therefore not a cyborg. Sam ov the blue sand 19:25, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sam's right. According to Wiktionary, a cyborg is a being who is part machine and part organic, or a robot who has an organic past. Since Sasori is a puppet and not a machine, he wouldn't exactly be a cyborg. // DecaimientoPoético 02:01, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Plus cyborgs, I think, are generally metal. Sasori was wood.

Iron Sand Drizzle and Iron Sand World Order[edit]

Where did Iron Sand Drizzle and Iron Sand World Order come from I've never heard of them before.Sam ov the blue sand 23:16, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

They're just specific names of jutsu that the 3rd kazekage puppet used, I believe. --tjstrf 23:18, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oh ok, those are awsome sounding names. Did the Third Kazekage come up with the attacks or did Sasori make them? If the Third Kazekage did make those attacks then did he get them from the last host of the Shukaku like he did with his Iron Sand ability?Sam ov the blue sand 22:32, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The ability beihnd the attacks is that of the Kazekage. The attacks themselves are of Sasori's design. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 22:34, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hiruko weapon[edit]

Did Hiruko detatch it's left arm to fire that projectile thing ( guessing it's sharpenal), just reread manga not sure what I saw.Sam ov the blue sand 02:22, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Did he detach his left arm? Yes he did. Did the detachment fire shrapnel? Not exactly; it looks more like needles covered in what is most likely poison. ~SnapperTo 18:10, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect[edit]

Added a redirect for Akasuna no Sasori to move it off the Requested Articles page. そせい! 03:55, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A picure should be added[edit]

Should there be a picure of performence of a hundred puppets somewhere in the article? Sam ov the blue sand 02:09, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see why it should. The technique is linked to three times in the article, and each one gives a chance to see what a hundred puppets look like. Besides, where would it go? The article is already at its current image capacity, and adding more would cause it to look cluttered. ~SnapperTo 02:52, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Good point it would look cluttered could you answer my question up above please. It's the one about Sasori's puppet.Sam ov the blue sand 13:42, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Favorite puppet?[edit]

The article states that Hiruko is his favorite puppet, then turns around and says the Third Kazekage is his favorite puppet. Which is correct? 68.17.166.174 01:00, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry you waited so long to hear this, but Hiruko is his favorite "normal" puppet and the Third Kazekage is his favorite human puppet. Again sorry you waited so long.Sam ov the blue sand 15:34, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

wrong information about his childhood?[edit]

if the "living puppets" as chiyo stated, needs bodies from their living state so that their techniques can be used when they're made into a puppet (a-la kazekage style), then wouldnt it be then that sasori's parents didnt die to trigger his "descent to darkness"?

any more information on this?

It is in the manga so it is correct and it never clearly states that a live body is needed.Sam ov the blue sand 03:39, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
To clarify that, Sasori's "parent puppets" never use chakra on their own. Their bodies were merely installed with the appropriate puppet tools. That chakra shield thing is merely a device. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 03:51, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sasori Anime Picture[edit]

Sasori has appeared in the anime now so do you think that we should at least add a picture of him and Hiruko? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.23.190.185 (talk) 03:15, 24 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Wait for more than a cloaked puppet. When Hiruko gets torn apart, then we'll have good images. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 03:17, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well we should get the Hiruko picture because since it has been in the anime it should be in the article just like every other article like this one.Sam ov the blue sand 22:37, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Again, wait for more than a cloaked puppet. It reveals nothing. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 22:46, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well from what I gathered from your post it appears that you don't want a Hiruko picture just Sasori himself.Sam ov the blue sand 01:25, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Honestly, pay attention. This is a really simple concept. You cannot tell what Hiruko looks like through a cloak. Therefore, no picture of Hiruko from the anime would show anything other than a hunchbacked Akatsuki member. Get it? — Someguy0830 (T | C) 01:42, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No you pay attention, you said "When Hiruko gets torn apart, then we'll have good images.", meaning that once Hiruko is destroyed we'll have the images we need and it looked as if you didn't care about a Hiruko picture (cloaked or uncloaked).Sam ov the blue sand 02:24, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It's a matter of timing. Hiruko is unveiled and is destroyed in the same chapter. Therefore, once it's destroyed, we'll have our choice of pictures. You're attributing things to me which don't apply. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 02:26, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ah forget my last post.Sam ov the blue sand 23:08, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Just a comment: Just because Hiruko is unveiled and destroyed in the same chapter doesn't mean the same for the anime... At the pace things are going now, it'll probably be 2-3 episodes apart -_- -Seraphchoir 14:42, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sasori The Demon[edit]

Does Sasori have a Demon inside him? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Grafiti232 (talkcontribs) 22:03, 4 May 2007 (UTC).[reply]

No. Retlor 02:45, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
What got you to think that!?Sam ov the blue sand 19:19, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Akatsuki are hunting down the demons. So they would just kill Sasori. -.- Besides, Suna already has Gaara.
