Why delete?[edit]

I wrote a brief summary of a small cottage manufacturer because I felt that it deserved one. I have no connection to Solana and I did my best not to make it in any way an advertisement. There are at least two independent sources (World of Cars, and the Mexican motoring magazine listed through Solana's own web site) cited. As far as I can tell, Solana doesn't even really sell cars so I don't see how this could be considered advertising.  Mr.choppers | ✎  15:51, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Additionally, F1 driver Moisés Solana (a family member) had his racing debut in one of the family-built cars, certainly of enough relevance to warrant a brief entry.  Mr.choppers | ✎  15:54, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The problem is that this article seems to fail to show notability. The topic is interesting, but we don't cover interesting things in Wikipedia, we cover notable things. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 03:32, 26 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Between the Mexican motoring journal and the World of Cars reference, I reckon minimum notability guidelines are indeed met. Two independent sources is a good start, if nothing else. But feel free to bring in more eyes.  Mr.choppers | ✎  06:07, 26 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hmmm, I am content living the notability tag there to be reviewed by somebody. Maybe in then years it will take, more sources will appear :) --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 05:30, 27 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
