Footballers?[edit]

Surely the schools notable former pupils cant all just have been footballers? What about mentioning Steve Ovett? Didn't he go this school? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.138.39.96 (talk) 22:30, 24 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Assess[edit]

An unusual style - should be a "start" as you have refs. Better if you use the references tag as it conforms top wikis style. This could be a great page. Try an infobox. Some sub headings and a couple of relevant pics..... Victuallers 14:37, 28 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Prospectus?[edit]

This reads more like a parents' prospectus than an encyclopedia article. Hundovir (talk) 06:30, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Point of view.[edit]

A lot of this page is written in the first person, I don't this is up to Wikipedia standards, correct me if i'm wrong. "Our school" for example. Hypnoduc (talk) 10:09, 15 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

coed years[edit]

"Between 1975 and 1979, Varndean Grammar School for Girls became Varndean High School, a coeducational comprehensive." what does this mean ? is the period while the coed plans were being implemented or something ? the first intake of both boys and girls was 1979 so that cohort became the oldest year (and therefore Varndean fully coed) in 1982. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 138.37.215.34 (talk) 14:29, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
