Liberty Towers (Jersey City)
Hi, 7&6=thirteen! I have just made an edit on an article named Liberty Towers (Jersey City) to fix some issues and improve its quality. There, I found that one of the references that you made in this edit was not linked to any source. I just wonder if that was accidental or true, but somewhat gone. So, I come here to ask you regarding this problem. Thank you. Best regards, Samuelsp15 (talk) 16:13, 11 September 2020 (UTC).

So... what is your username?
I tried a dozen times to use Template:U to ping you in my response on Talk:List of fatal dog attacks in the United States but no matter how I cut and pasted your username, or handtyped it, I could not come up with a valid preview that looked right. I settled for a cut and paste of the simple text "7&6=thirteen". But putting that into the pinging template like {{u|7&6=thirteen}}
in any form resulted in a mess at preview. So... what do I use in the future? Normal Op (talk) 16:21, 21 September 2020 (UTC)

Keep it up :)
Thanks for your presence in the round of one dozen or so American Indian biographies in the AfD space. Reading your positive comment about the progress of one article is much appreciated (especially because this space is where work done is scrutinized by some to the point of excessive criticism). Keep it up! --DiamondRemley39 (talk) 15:08, 1 October 2020 (UTC)
A comment about yours...
Just my opinion... I think this round of AfDs is a result of the nominator's unconscious bias against older subjects just as much or more than it is against other cultures. They probably did see the then-weak articles as mere genealogy listings -- many articles about non-notability have gone to AfD in the past few months. And then didn't do the kind of thorough BEFOREs that are best to do before nominating. I think the user didn't factor in how hungry the public has been for writings about anyone related to Wounded Knee and Little Big Horn since those events happened. So many sources to be checked. I'm guessing they have little experience in the military space too. I see that the person commented on your talk page that they usually nominate rap musicians. The kind of coverage modern musicians get is very different from what 19th-century warriors get. But I don't think they mean ill. Just a case of limited context/research experience and underestimating the abilities of Wikipedians and they're getting defensive when their work is called out (as it has been by me). That happens all the time in AfDs. (I also see a lack of moderation--when nominating articles in a new area, why not just nominate 1-5 articles and see how it goes?) Just my two cents, not that you need it or anything. Glad to have you around and thanks again for the pastry. Cheers! --DiamondRemley39 (talk) 00:12, 2 October 2020 (UTC)
Please stop
You've added "Part of attempted mass removal of articles about Native Americans without justification" to a number of AFDs. Please stop. If you feel my edits are vexatious or transgress some policy, there are other venues to address this. You are an experienced editor and should know better. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 14:12, 1 October 2020 (UTC)
- User:Magnolia677 What I said was true.
- I am an experienced editor and so are you.
- Genocide and race eradications on the pages of wikipedia is unacceptable, and you should know better. Serial and unwarranted AFDs is burdensome. Takes a lot of time from editing. We will see the outcomes of your myriad nominations.
- Parenthetically I do not share your confidence in the WP:ANI process, and have not gone there. But you know where to find them if you feel aggrieved.
- I hope that the blood bath ends. Self correction would benefit us all. Stop the underlying behavior and I won't mention this further. Cheers. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 15:50, 1 October 2020 (UTC)
- User:Magnolia677,
- As a further observation, thank you for getting in touch with me. I am glad that this got your attention. I think that working this out between editors is preferable to escalating and taking it to the cabal and the powers that be. Thank you again for getting in touch with me. Cheers. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 18:33, 1 October 2020 (UTC)
- I'm not sure what needs working out. A user already left a message on my talk page and I gave an honest answer. Most of my AFDs are to rap musicians, but I stumbled upon an article about a Native American and noticed that a number of similar or linked articles appeared completely non-notable. AFDs followed, though I speedy-closed one. Most of the AFDs have a number of delete votes, so I'm not sure this is unwarranted, or that removing non-notable biographies (or voting to delete them) is genocide or race eradication. People's feelings regarding particular topics is irrelevant, and Wikipedia isn't a loonie liberal arts college. Magnolia677 (talk) 21:43, 1 October 2020 (UTC)
- I am not into rap musicians. I don't conceptualize Wikipedia or this discussion as being about a loonie liberal arts college. In any event, prods are a burden, and there are other ways to improve articles. When you do AFDs and the articles are kept anyway, maybe your approach and decision making process needs reevaluation. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 00:49, 2 October 2020 (UTC)

- Sometimes an editor develops a reputation for disruptive actions and their edits earn more scrutiny. Perhaps looking at where there are intersections and studying those AfDs would illuminate the concern. Gleeanon 00:10, 26 October 2020 (UTC)
- Deacon Sad to see that you feel aggrieved. However, the world doesn't revolve around you. To be sure, your track record at AFDs belies your concern.
- FWIW, I deny your accusation, and will participate in AFDs as I deem appropriate. You might consider WP:Own; you do
notget to habitually propose deletions poorly, ignoring completely WP:Before; nor can you justifiably expect complete silence and abject acquiescence from the rest of the wikipedia community when you do that? - Of course, you are well familiar with WP:ANI. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 13:35, 27 October 2020 (UTC)

New Page Patrol December Newsletter
Hello 7&6=thirteen,
- Year in review
It has been a productive year for New Page Patrol as we've roughly cut the size of the New Page Patrol queue in half this year. We have been fortunate to have a lot of great work done by Rosguill who was the reviewer of the most pages and redirects this past year. Thanks and credit go to JTtheOG and Onel5969 who join Rosguill in repeating in the top 10 from last year. Thanks to John B123, Hughesdarren, and Mccapra who all got the NPR permission this year and joined the top 10. Also new to the top ten is DannyS712 bot III, programmed by DannyS712 which has helped to dramatically reduce the number of redirects that have needed human patrolling by patrolling certain types of redirects (e.g. for differences in accents) and by also patrolling editors who are on on the redirect whitelist.

Actor/wrestler/track star. Over 200 acting credits as a character actor. Just died. Worked on WP:ITN. It got rejected in a perverse exercise of ITN. ITN nomination is dead. Perverse result due to sourcing issues. I had similar experiences with Dr. John and Neil Peart. Large articles and prolific important artists; who got willfully ignored at ITN because the vast list of their works did not have sourcing that satisfied the cabal. And both of them got a huge amount of views. But this article got 230,000 views in the last nine days here. Popular article. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 13:44, 22 December 2020 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions toward making Wikipedia a better and more accurate place. BoringHistoryGuy (talk) 13:05, 26 December 2020 (UTC) Oneupsmanship: This painting turned the friendly rivalry between Edward Redfield and Elmer Schofield into a feud. Schofield was a frequent houseguest at Redfield's farm, upstream from New Hope, Pennsylvania, and the two would go out painting together, competing to capture the better view. Redfield served on the jury for the 1904 Annual Exhibition of the Carnegie Institute; at which, despite Redfield's opposition, Across the River was awarded the Gold Medal and $1,500 prize. It was not until a 1963 interview that the 93-year-old Redfield revealed the painting as the cause of the 40-year feud between them. Schofield may have painted it in England, but a blindsided Redfield knew that it was a view of the Delaware River, from his own front yard! |

December 2020
Your recent editing history at Bolt (fabric) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. This block is a mistake
Like several other people, I received an email from 7&6=thirteen asking me to post the above appeal; apparently their talk page access was blocked as well as their editing ability.
This block needs to be undone; it is a good-faith but accidental miscarriage of justice; apparently they were caught up in a purge related to proxy accounts. But 7&6 is a long-established, exemplary editor, with more than 100,000 edits, here since 2007 with a clean block log in all that time. They have collaborated productively with me for many years. We need them back.
Someone please explain to them what they have to do to get themselves out of this unwarranted block. Yamla advised "disable your proxy/vpn" and wait 24 hours; will that do it? Can a more detailed instruction about how to do that be provided? We are not all techies here. Thanks for any assistance. -- MelanieN (talk) 16:55, 31 December 2020 (UTC) n
- The range was blocked by User:ST47 for three years [2], but it does not appear to prevent talk page access. I'm not a techie either, so I can't advise anything other than Yamla suggests above. If there's a very good reason fro 7&6 to need a VPN, IPBE may be possible. — O Still Small Voice of Clam 17:02, 31 December 2020 (UTC)

- 7&6=thirteen, I was asked to look into this by a few TPS. So the range you mentioned was also globally blocked. When ranges are globally blocked by m:Stewards, you are not able to use your talkpage to appeal locally, but only at meta I've been told. This is why you couldn't appeal here, and you would have had to have contacted the stewards to get anything done, it wasn't a local admin that blocked you. Either way, you can always appeal to WP:UTRS or use the IRC unblock channel. That being said, the range has been blocked for a good reason. I tried to look as deep as I could to see what you may have enabled to tell you how to prevent it in the first place. The best idea I could come up with is you installed a browser extension between 13:33 and 16:57 UTC that changed your IP to a proxy editing out of the middle of France (on a webhost). If you need more help in trying to figure this out, I'd be happy to discuss things in private. But whatever was enabled in that timeframe (usually it never happens automatically) is what gave you issues. Courtesy ping: @MelanieN: -- Amanda (aka DQ) 18:20, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
- I was not appealing for everyone in the range that was blocked. I didn't knowingly install a web browser extension. Although I just had to uninstall my old Norton Systemworks in the last couple of days and replaced it with a new one, and I don't know what it did, if anything. I have never been to France, and you may be assured that I am not hiding or cloaking my IP, as far as I know. That's why I went to the Wikimedia Stewards. Thanks to whomever fixed the problem. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 18:45, 31 December 2020 (UTC)

The 50,000 Challenge Questions
Hello, 7&6=thirteen. I'm not exactly a new Wikipedia editor at this point, but I've only semi-recently started looking beyond just making articles, and into the more behind the scenes administration of Wikipedia, and I have some questions about the the 50,000 Challenge if you don't mind me asking. If there are better places I could be asking this, let me know.
So, the 50,000 Challenge is something I found out about fairly early on, but I think I've been contributing to it incorrectly so far. I did not realize that I was supposed to put my articles on a list on the WikiProject page. My main question is this: Should I go back and put the relevant, start and lengthy stub articles (like Lorenzo T. Durand, Vernon J. Brown, and Eugene R. Cater) on this list now, even if some of the articles are more than a year old? Or should I start to just make a habit of putting new articles I make on the lists on the Wikiproject page.
Also, I wanted to ask if my state legislature district pages would be a good fit for the 50,000 Challenge or not. Should I add a page like Michigan's 87th House of Representatives district to the list or not?
Thank you, and sorry if this isn't the appropriate place to ask these questions.
RoundSquare (talk) 22:24, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
- User:RoundSquare I have no idea. I've never participated in it; or even been aware of it. I would say go to the talk page of Wikipedia:The 50,000 Challenge and start there. Sorry, but I am ignorant on the point. Good luck. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 04:05, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
This new article was just on the main page as a DYK. Not my DYK. I tweaked it and linked it (in and out). Didn't know about these dogs. 150,000 page views. I would bet that the eye candy of this painting helped a lot. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 15:26, 10 January 2021 (UTC)
The addition of categories that are supported by the article's content isn't vandalism, as far as I'm concerned. My intentions were good, maybe the vandalism was another IP address in the same geographic location as me, which can make it hard to tell the difference between WP:Vandalism and WP:NOTVANDALISM I guess, so don't be so quick to assume that I vandalized the article and that it was a WP:BADFAITH edit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:153:881:3D60:68BA:6A06:E59A:D7 (talk) 05:38, 11 January 2021 (UTC)

Swaggering
Hi 7&6: Have you read the personal grooming article? (I'm guessing that's a no.) If so, can you please explain how washing yourself has anything to do with swaggering? I'm guessing that the person who linked it was thinking of "preening" in the Shakespearean sense—but "preening" on Wikipedia redirects to "personal grooming". BTW, I'm not quite sure what your edit summary is supposed to mean. I am a reader. That's why I removed it. MeegsC (talk) 15:26, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
- User:MeegsC You are a reader and an editor. Its relevancy is close enough, IMO. We should err on the side of too much of the irrelevant, rather than too little of the relevant. Your decision to excise it takes away the suggestion to the reader. Your mileage may vary. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 15:30, 15 January 2021 (UTC)

- So much for the editor who said on the article's talk page that "she's not famous."
- Got this one passed by ITN. Nevertheless, I have had mainly bad experiences at WP:ITN. They were a disservice to prolific artists, whose articles had lots or work, all of which was not specifically referenced. IMDB isn't acceptable. And somebody like Dr. John and Neil Peart were way notable, and were perversely punished. There are some things in Wikipedia that are immutable! Oh well. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 19:12, 16 January 2021 (UTC)
I see that you're heavily involved with the Dr. John article. I added Against the Wind (album), Dr. John played keyboard on The Horizontal Bop. I added a source,, too. Mountain pass
I can't find mention of 2,000-foot differential in the reference book you just posted for an addition to the mountain pass article. Are you sure you've got the right page? - DavidWBrooks (talk) 16:06, 21 January 2021 (UTC)
- User:DavidWBrooks It's
in the linked pageon page 103 as I recall. And it should have been 2,000 meters (6,600 ft) not 2,000 feet (610 m) Sorry. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 16:17, 21 January 2021 (UTC)
- Interesting stuff - but as I read it (page 103), it's not using 2000m to define a mountain pass, it's using a distance of 2000m between a mountain pass and summit as a way to categorize different mountain "groups" - sizes and types, I think. So it's not that a height difference of, say, 1800m isn't a pass - it's still a pass but in a different (lower?) category of mountain. The way I read your edit to the article, I took it to mean that anything less than 2000m isn't a "mountain pass" at al, which is why I checked out the reference. Does that make sense? - DavidWBrooks (talk) 16:37, 21 January 2021 (UTC)

ITN. 2.6 million views in a few days. I helped navigate the treacherous waters of ITN, and also improved the article materially. Pulling this was misguided. Sabotaged the posting on the main page.
- During his career, he did more than 60,000 interviews.[1] CNN’s Larry King Live became "the longest-running television show hosted by the same person, on the same network and in the same time slot", and was recognized for it by the Guinness Book of World Records.[2] He retired in 2010 after taping 6,000 episodes of the show.[3]

Hey, can you look at the latest comments you added to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kristoffer Domeij and see if something happened during the edits? DYK for John C. England
On 10 February 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article John C. England, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that John C. England, who died heroically after saving three sailors from the sinking USS Oklahoma, only received a Purple Heart, but had two ships named for him? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/John C. England. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, John C. England), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (ie, 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

- Also, for any deletions that you disagreed with, have you considerwd asking an admin to either give you a copy to work on in userspace? (just curious) Maybe that is something that should be looked at on a larger scale... - wolf 20:18, 18 February 2021 (UTC)
- User:Thewolfchild, I've copied some of them myself.
- I am not predisposed much to going to ANI. I do think that there is a whole lot of disruptive conduct, but ... risk averse; I do not think they are my friend (irrespective of the merits of the complaint). I have had experiences there that were not welcoming. The AFD activities have attracted unfriendly attention from some editors, particularly those who do not like the outcomes, and their gang behavior is a fact. Newspapers.com free subscription
I use clippings from this subscription all the time. It is my place now-a-days for references and sources, since the libraries in my state are closed. Mary Florence Potts is an example where I used news clips extensively and it became a Good Article. The subscription is easy to get from the Wikipedia library and it is for free (normally expensive). --Doug Coldwell (talk) 15:49, 21 February 2021 (UTC)
- I've already done it. Now I have to learn how to use it.
- I know you are a very effective subscriber and editor with that tool. Cheers. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 16:05, 21 February 2021 (UTC)
- Great - if you have any questions, just let me know since I use it all the time and have developed some really neat tricks (short-cuts). Take a look at the updating I am doing now with Mary E. Clarke and a short-cut to keeping all these news clips straight in an article is to use the initials of the newspapers and the date for the inline reference name - for example "ref name=TAS5_17_1980".--Doug Coldwell (talk) 19:52, 21 February 2021 (UTC)
- Another trick-of-the-trade is to put a shortcut on your desktop for https://www.newspapers.com/ and when the library gives you the subscription code to sign in then click the box for "Stay Signed In" - so that then all you have to do is click your desktop shortcut and you are already signed in and ready immediately to start searching.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 20:03, 21 February 2021 (UTC)
- Another trick-of-the trade is to use a previous news clip reference form for your next news clip reference. Just copy it and make the updated information. Here is one you can start with [4] <--Just copy this form and then put in your information from the search you just did. It saves you a lot of typing by just copying the previous news clip reference you did and then updating the information to that of the most recent search. --Doug Coldwell (talk) 20:35, 21 February 2021 (UTC)
- Glad to see you got the free subscription to Newspapers.com. Now you also can make a lot of Did You Know articles and Good Articles like I have done, since you now have online access to much historical information. If you need some more clues on how to use this valuable tool let me know. I'll be glad to help out.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 13:10, 22 February 2021 (UTC)

Serious matter regarding user
User Magnolia677 whom you have cited previously for engaging in over 3 edit wars. Has targeted me & is getting personal by going as far as reverting nearly all of my good faith edits and even starting deleting information from my town New Fairfield, CT. I came to Wikipedia to add knowledge and spread facts & help to the community here & it seems as if this person will stop at nothing to make sure I personally have a miserable experience. I am hoping you will review his actions! Thank you. Sincerely yours, Elvisisalive95 (talk) 21:22, 4 March 2021 (UTC)
- User:Elvisisalive95 I am not an administrator. In fact, if you look above, I recently was chastised by WP:ANI – not my biggest fans. So your timing is very bad, and this is an effort that I cannot touch.
- You have my sympathy. Sorry. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 01:31, 5 March 2021 (UTC)

- Please don't compare me to Rudi! I don't think it's a fair rap. I am not anybody's "lawyer" in Wikipedia. And throwing me under the bus like that is not an appreciated gesture.
- I am not defending him; but I am the wrong horse at this time.
- And I've been cutting down on my Wikipediaing anyway for a lot of reasons. Some of which are in Wikipedia and some of which are in real life. Sorry. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 02:26, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
My comments about Rudy were filled with comedy & friendly joking around I assure you that! I didn’t quite throw you under the bus I just whole heartedly thought you were an administrator since you sighted said user for his abysmal work & immature editing wars in the past! I applaud your disdain for people like that! Ta-ta for now! Elvisisalive95 (talk) 03:46, 5 March 2021 (UTC)

User:7&6=thirteen, yesterday I posted a query on your talk page or may be I have made wrong in submitting. It was regarding Cheman Shaik an article that got deleted through Afd discussion. I have been improving the article and did so until March 5 before the deletion took place. So, wanted to know whether the latest version of the article was taken into consideration or was done on the basis of previous discussion that went till March 2, 2021, where it had 6 Delete votes. thank you Wisdomwiki 40 (talk) 14:56, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
- User:Wisdomwiki 40 I don't know. While I think I should, there is no way to know what process goes through the minds of the voters or the closers. You might ask the closer. Sorry, but speculation will only get me in trouble. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 15:03, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
7&6=thirteen, I've asked the closer, but s/he says that it was primarily done on the consensus basis without responding to my query. thank you. Sometimes silence has the answer to the unanswered.Wisdomwiki 40 (talk) 15:10, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
- Not saying it says a lot.
- There are appeals from that process. I don't do them much, but they sometimes do succeed. Good luck. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 15:31, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
Butting in here as a talk page watcher and waving at 7&6: Hi, Wisdomwiki 40. I was curious about your comments here so I looked at the AfD in question (the consensus to delete was clear, and the closer is not expected to respond to comments in the discussion) and the deleted article (using my magic spectacles). You worked hard to argue that he was notable because of his inventions, but the biography does not and probably cannot demonstrate notability for him personally. He himself just hasn't gotten much coverage. But here's a thought: if you think one of his inventions is particularly notable - you mentioned Absolute Public Key Cryptography at the AfD - you might try creating a draft about that invention, at which you would of course mention the inventor. Just a thought. If you decide to try this I do suggest making it a draft first, to see if you can really can demonstrate sufficient notability for that particular invention. -- MelanieN (talk) 17:31, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
Thanks a lot MelanieN for the attention and time, and sharing the constructive idea. I appreciate your humble entry, only few do so. I will think over it. Wisdomwiki 40 (talk) 08:55, 7 March 2021 (UTC)

Hi 7&6=thirteen, if you keep adding these ultra-low quality sources, I plan to start issuing warning notice against you. Prabook is non-rs. It is not editirorially controlled, nor is it peer reviewed. It is the equivalent to Medium and is clearly WP:SPS and WP:NOT. scope_creepTalk 14:27, 22 March 2021 (UTC)
- User:scope_creep Duly noted. If you choose to not take this to the talk page, you are being WP:Disruptive. That you want to stack the deck while an AFD is pending does not help. And your threats are duly noted. Take it to the talk page. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 14:30, 22 March 2021 (UTC)
- 7&6=thirteen I didn't think it was heavy handed. A simple reading of the about page on Prabook would have shown how unsuitable it is as a reference, so why put it back in? I'm sorry if it was heavy-handed. scope_creepTalk 15:27, 22 March 2021 (UTC)
- We need to work together. As someone who just got admonished by WP:ANI because I said folks were disregarding WP:Before, I thought you were over whatever line there is.
- I thought you were using a shotgun to kill fleas. I guess I was wrong. Cold print is an imperfect tool for communication.
- I have no vested interest in this article, and my small contributions don't amount to much effort. If it gets deleted, so be it. I have not even voted at the AFD, yet. Trying to find sources is problematical.
- And I have real life things I need to deal with.

Edit Warring
[4] Your conduct in revert warring is frankly outrageous and edit warring to insist on a non-neutral edit is foolish. Your conduct is likely to guarantee that article is deleted. Your obligatory edit warring warning.
Your recent editing history at Attack on HMS Invincible shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree.
I am well aware of Mr Philips blog, I have become acquainted with Mr Philips through Facebook. However, his material is all self-published and has been declared an unreliable source on Wikipedia. So we don't use it. In fact, the quality of most of the sources you're using is pretty poor, there are far too many WP:SPS. WCMemail 18:48, 18 April 2021 (UTC)

Hi. In the interests of transparency and fairness, I draw your attention to a concern raised informally here about your conduct. Mark83 (talk) 19:21, 21 April 2021 (UTC)

My apologies
I've been away for a while. Winters are especially difficult here and take all of our effort just to survive, generally. I held on as long as I could but eventually it becomes too difficult to continue. However, with the thaw, Summer is approaching and I feel refreshed and renewed. Thank you for your warning about the drafts I continue to hold onto. I started the one on Connie but have found little time to edit it to this point. Thank you so much for adding what you did to the article. I'm gong to try and finish it over the next month and push it out there. You are a benefit to this project and an all-around gem of a person. Thanks again --ARoseWolf 15:02, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
- Tsistunagiska Opinions differ about that. See the preceding section.
- But thank you. Good to have you back. Cheers. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 15:05, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
- The opinions of others are just that, opinions. They are relevant in the sense they are real, however, very few have ever tried to walk in my shoes and understand the expressed views that I share but then expect me to accept their opinion as fact and adopt it into my way of thinking. That just doesn't work with me. I guess it's my lot in life. Sometimes I am the antagonist and sometimes the protagonist and I like to keep people guessing which one I am in the moment. But, in actuality, it's only a guess because no one really knows me or takes the time to get to know me through anything I have written. And why should they? I am just words on a screen. And apparently words that don't matter much, especially if I don't agree with their opinion. --ARoseWolf 15:19, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, type on a screen is not a good substitute for personal connection and interaction. We are all suffering from that. Folks woule not say to another's face the things they write anonymously through a computer. Sad. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 15:33, 22 April 2021 (UTC)

Terrible articles
@7&6=thirteen: Regarding Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tom's Ice Cream Bowl Tell me why do you do this? This process of updating these terrible articles, which are no more than business listings, and is the view the paid editor takes. This is the third one in a row I've seen you do, and they are rank. Why do you do it? scope_creepTalk 18:00, 24 April 2021 (UTC)
- User:scope_creep WP:Not paper You and I disagree. YMMV. Why do you harass me here? Tell me why? 7&6=thirteen (☎) 18:05, 24 April 2021 (UTC)
- I'm not harassing you. I'm interested on why you do it? At the moment I think the way your approaching it, is damaging you and your burning a lot of bridges. Why not improve some of these other more important articles that really need some time from an experience editor? There is hundreds upon hundreds of them. A wee while I through the Tom's Ice Cream Bowl article too look at the references and must say they are terrible. There is a level earnestness, which I appreciate. I understand that completely but is the point of packing it with so much junk? I can't understood your approach. scope_creepTalk 18:14, 24 April 2021 (UTC)
- Because the article Tom's Ice Cream Bowl is worth saving. You are right. There are millions of articles that need improvement. This is now better than most of them. Deletion should be a last resort. WP:Before. WP:Preserve. WP:Prod. WP:AFD Apparently you don't get that. The difference here is that I won't show up on your talk page to tell you that. Casting aspersions or dictating how other editors do their work is not going to make Wikipedia a better encyclopedia. We editors all are the sum of our individual choices.
- And I am unconcerned about your feelings about me. I don't need your approval. If you choose to ignore 13 years and more than 130,000 edits, that is your privilege.
- Your perspective on articles seems to be an affect of your geography. You do not recognize significant coverage, even as it is in plain view. This is a worldwide encyclopedia, and you ought to figure that out. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 18:23, 24 April 2021 (UTC)
