Deletion discussion about Paddles (cat)

[edit]

Hello, Chrisclear,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Paddles (cat) should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Paddles (cat) .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

Hello, Chrisclear. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Ontology (cryptocurrency), for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Your draft article, User:Chrisclear/Bitcoin Gold

[edit]

Hello, Chrisclear. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Bitcoin Gold".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. 10Eleventeen 05:25, 15 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

User:Chrisclear/Bitconnect, a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Chrisclear/Bitconnect and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:Chrisclear/Bitconnect during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. 10Eleventeen 19:30, 15 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Ontology (disambiguation) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Disambiguation page disambiguating only a primary topic and one other; see WP:ONEOTHER for the relevant guideline

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --ais523 20:46, 19 June 2018 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Chrisclear/ontology/, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Why North Melbourne are eliminated.

[edit]

Sorry that the edit history may not be a good enough explanation, but I will explain myself more thoroughly here. Let's start with the current ladder, ignoring 1st-7th and 18th (Adelaide) as 1st-7th cannot be caught by North, and Adelaide cannot play finals.

8th FOOT 28pts 9th ESS 26pts 10th MELB 24pts 11th CARL 24pts 12th GWS 24pts 13th FREM 20pts 14th GC 18pts 15th HAW 16pts 16th SYD 16pts 17th NM 12pts

For the purposes of proving North are eliminated, we must assume North win all tiebreakers.

First, let's give North 4 wins.

8th NM 28pts 9th FOOT 28pts 10th ESS 26pts 11th MELB 24pts 12th CARL 24pts 13th GWS 24pts 14th FREM 20pts 15th GC 18pts 16th HAW 16pts 17th SYD 16pts

Now, Footscray must lose their remaining 4 matches, this in turn gives Hawthorn and Fremantle wins.

8th NM 28pts 9th FOOT 28pts 10th ESS 26pts 11th CARL 24pts — FREM 24pts — GWS 24pts — MELB 24pts 15th HAW 20pts 16th GC 18pts 17th SYD 16pts

Now, FREM, GWS and MELB all play each other once, as there are 12 points at stake, each team must receive 4 each as to not overtake North Melbourne.

8th NM 28pts 9th FOOT 28pts — FREM 28pts — GWS 28pts — MELB 28pts 13th ESS 26pts 14th CARL 24pts 15th HAW 20pts 16th GC 18pts 17th SYD 16pts

Finally, as ESS play MELB, one of these teams will get at least 30pts, thus eliminating North Melbourne. Barring points deductions (unlikely), North Melbourne are eliminated. RoryK8 (talk) 02:06, 28 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Reasons why it's better to be Canadian

[edit]

Here are 151. I don't vouch for all of them and don't expect you to take any of them too seriously. But some of that 2018 "truth" might still be applicable to why we make better COVID protestors, too. Besides the presence of trucks, I mean. I stand by what I said earlier about their vast and objective physical superiorities over all puny Earthlings, together or not. InedibleHulk (talk) 01:31, 13 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Need help claims that Jim McKelvey is an employee of Block

[edit]

I'm having a problem trying to deal with how one user claimed that Jim McKelvey is "not" an employee of Block, Inc. despite the face he was also the founder of the company. The editor basically removed it from the category despite telling him that he is the founder just like Jack. It would be appreciated if you can help me out on it. 20chances (talk) 01:30, 10 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
