- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Welcome
[edit]Hello Elvenjewel777 and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your contributions, such as the ones to KRGV-TV, do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox (but beware that the contents of the sandbox are deleted frequently) rather than in articles.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~
); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! Mvcg66b3r (talk) 23:25, 1 July 2023 (UTC)
- How did I violate any policies I added links to that page and minor copyedits so what exactly is the issue? Elvenjewel777 (talk) 01:20, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
- I have edited so much I have about 200,000 views now. I didn't vandalize the page and if that's what I am being accused of, I will drop this activity from my roster. Not worth the stress!! Elvenjewel777 (talk) 01:22, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
- Prove your points or I am just going to move on from this. I did not vandalize anything. Elvenjewel777 (talk) 01:24, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
- I didn't say you were a vandal. It's just that your edits need a little work. We don't normally use ordinal prefixes in dates (see MOS:DATES). Also, punctuation goes outside wikilink brackets. I restored some of your edits, but this whole article could use a overhaul. I'm pinging my good friend @Sammi Brie: to see if she can help. Thanks. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 02:41, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
- Ok I am good with all that. I will look at the date standards.
- I don't understand the issue with punctuation; please help me out, thanks! Elvenjewel777 (talk) 02:51, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
- Now that I know it isn't vandalism you are worried about, if you could clearly list the issues I will be happy to correct them! Elvenjewel777 (talk) 02:52, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
- Example: UPN. should be UPN.; independent station. should be independent station. We shouldn't link "graphics" because that's too broad of a subject. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 03:09, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
- Ok on the first two I used the visual editor so did not see that.
- Thanks for the tip on graphics. Elvenjewel777 (talk) 03:20, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
- Hey! You might wanna read Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Linking to understand what should and shouldn't be linked. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 03:30, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks I will go look!! Elvenjewel777 (talk) 03:38, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
- Ok I read over that I get the issue now thanks! Helpful guidelines! Elvenjewel777 (talk) 03:46, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
