Patidar

[edit]

Please do not insert original research into articles, as you appear to have done at Patidar. Wikipedia content should be verifiable with reference to reliable sources and caste puffery is a major and well-known obstacle to this. Your change to the article both contradicted the source that already existed and was not itself sourced. I suggest that you open a discussion at Talk:Patidar if you have some valid sources (per my blue link above) to support it. Thanks. - Sitush (talk) 23:54, 16 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted your puffery again at Patidar. Please can you avoid disruptive edits such as this. Thanks. - Sitush (talk) 12:12, 21 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

August 2012

[edit]

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Patidar, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Sitush (talk) 12:48, 21 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please also note that the article is subject to general sanctions, as per the information below. - Sitush (talk) 12:49, 21 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The Wikipedia community has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions on any editor who is active on any page about social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties, related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process. If you engage in further inappropriate behavior in this area, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or an article ban. The discussion leading to the imposition of these sanctions can be read here.

Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Wikipedia:General sanctions.

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 60 hours for persistent disruptive editing, as you did at Patidar. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
