Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Maui Taylor thumbnail.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 06:02, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Maui Taylor thumbnail.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Maui Taylor thumbnail.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 20:47, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate images uploaded

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Kaguluhan Music Festival year 3.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Kaguluhan Music Festival.jpg. The copy called Image:Kaguluhan Music Festival.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Kaguluhan movie -Theatrical poster.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 07:20, 26 August 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Lәo(βǃʘʘɱ) 07:20, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hello this is Edz I'd like to inquire how will put my article with regards to Kaguluhan film be possibly legit. I've tried many articles to put in the subject and are factual, I hope you can help thanks!

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated articles are Kaguluhan Music Festival (Film), Kaguluhan Music Festival. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to the relevant discussion pages: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kaguluhan Music Festival (Film) for Kaguluhan Music Festival (Film), Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kaguluhan Music Festival for Kaguluhan Music Festival. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:09, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello user Kguirnela, thanks for the information, I'll see to it that the references for friendster or youtube be removed as soon as possible, but the official site of the event is a friendster page. the organizers are a guerrilla marketing type of production.

What template do i choose for a magazine and newspaper? Speak!

The official page in Fs is allowed in External links I guess, but not as a citation or reference. For a newspaper cite use
<ref>{{cite news | last = | first = | title = | pages = | publisher = | date = [[2005-02-10]] | url = | accessdate = 2008-03-19}}</ref>
. For a magazine, use
 <ref>{{cite journal | authorlink = | title = | journal = | volume =  | pages = | date = }}</ref>
. Btw, to sign your posts, just use four tildes:
 ~~~~
. — KvЯt GviЯnЭlБ Speak! 05:21, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Just finished modifying the references unfortunately I have obtained only hard copies and no url's Megr1124 (talk) 06:38, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That should be fine; the url is only for magazines with an online presence. — KvЯt GviЯnЭlБ Speak! 08:59, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Antonio Luna, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page General Luna. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
