A note: "storey" is technically not a misspelling, although in fact your edit was the right thing to do. British/NZ/Indian/Australian spelling is "storey," US spelling is "story," Canada can be either. However, since the topic concerns a US subject, your correction to "story" is appropriate. If there's no strong link to a given national variety, we generally leave it alone. See WP:ENGVAR for more. Acroterion (talk) 04:17, 7 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Oh. Thanks for the understanding because I thought it was “story” in all of the English speaking countries. MetricSupporter89 (talk) 04:17, 5 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I’m pretty sure Canada is the same as America using story as the spelling. Metric Supporter 89 (talk) 16:46, 12 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Can somebody tell me why this is happening???

[edit]

I looked at pictures of AUD bills and the pictures say Fair use (us copyright law) when it’s supposed to say Licence information. The Australian dollar bills are not accepted in the United States and therefore I don’t think they should be protected under United States copyright law. To me, since the Australian dollar bills are not accepted in the United States, there should be something that says on the licence saying, “This Australian work is protected under the copyright law of Australia”. Can anybody tell me why this thing is happening????? Metric Supporter 89 (talk) 02:53, 30 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:52, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wilmerding Licensing Corporation

[edit]

Greetings. There is no longer any company called Westinghouse Licensing Corporation. ViacombCBS sold the Westinghouse brand assets to Westinghouse Electric Corporation in 2021. With the selling of the brand, Westinghouse Licensing Corporation (which was a company only on paper and never had a single employee or did any business) was renamed to Wilmerding Licensing Corporation. Again, still a company in name only. We are working on a citation for this, but would love your help in getting this wikipedia page cleared up a little. Thanks.
