File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Krizza Neri.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Krizza Neri.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.
If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.
Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 06:07, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
The article Krizza Neri has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Your AfC submission
[edit]I have moved it back to Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Jensen Teñoso - odd though it seems, the talk page is the right place for an AfC submission. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 13:11, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
I have reverted your edits. I know my edits deviates from the traditional x factor style. However, the format or style of my edits will make the article more neat and organized. Also, adding the original artists will help identify original artists of the song they have covered. Same goes with the table. So please don't revert my edits. Thanks.--Renzoy16 | Contact Me 07:39, 12 August 2012 (UTC)
- Actually, The X Factor has no definite guidelines on the table and about the 'original artist'. You can see it at: Wikipedia:WikiProject The X Factor. And I think in adding the original artist in the table, the article will attain a standard, not only in X Factor, but in all other reality singing competition articles in Wikipedia.--Renzoy16 | Contact Me 09:57, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
- And I think, there is nothing wrong with adding the artists. Just because every article is not doing it, it does not mean that we cannot apply that. Other editors on other franchises only copied the UK style, and failed to make improvements on it. And there is even no WikiProject consensus on it. And also, the 'original artist' thing is not exclusive to Idol franchise articles. So I don't think that adding them will make the article "un-X Factor". What I am doing here is improving the article, the style. I hope you understand that. Star Academy has it, also with Are You the Next Big Star?, Idol (TV series), Got Talent, and other competitions have it, so why not apply it to X Factor? If you want to have a standard on the tables and what includes it, go to the WikiProject page and suggest it to them. --Renzoy16 | Contact Me 10:37, 13 August 2012 (UTC)

Hi
[edit]I removed the Order # and Result columns as they are too in universe for most encyclopedia articles. My wish would be that they are removed from all articles but there are fans of the show that probably would rally to keep them. I even started a discussion but it hasn't generated much interest.
The information is very in universe and not encyclopedic. We don't, for instance list everything the judges wore, or quote how the host introduces each act unless reliable sources make a big deal out of it. The AI shows after all are entertainment television. The producers determine the order and no reliable sources have been produced to show that being #5, for instance, is any different than going #8. The producers do make an effort to mix up the order and save bigger numbers for the finale slot, but we don't even have reliable sources that state that is how they always do things.
As for the Result column, the only real encyclopedic information should be hen they are eliminated and that can be, and is always, written in the text. The bottom two/three positions are another production ploy to build tension. If it's truly newsworthy that someone is in the bottom two then write that in the text (prose) as well, but not in a chart. In this way the information that is in the chart is more useful to non-fans. Plus a fan can always go to fan sites if they really desire that content. Insomesia (talk) 20:12, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
Adding 'if applicable' in the table in XFPH Week 7
[edit]Seriously, I don't know why there is an 'if applicable' in the table.
Your reason was:
"IT IS NO NEED TO PUT THE ARTIST OF THE SONGS IN THE PERFORMANCE NIGHT SONGS INSTEAD IT CAN BE USE AT THE FINAL SHOWN SO IT SHOULD BE "ORIGINAL ARTIST IF APPLICABLE."
Why is there no need that the artist should be identified in the table? Just because the night is only dedicated for the two bands? I think you are doing it wrong. Wikipedia can be accessed by anyone. So anyone may not know who originally, between the two, sang those songs. If you don't know the two bands, would you correctly identify who originally sang each of the song? No, isn't?
I gave you my reasons, and with that... I am adding those what you have removed back in the table.--Renzoy16 | Contact Me 16:01, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for October 11
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Protégé: The Battle For The Big Break, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Lean on Me and You and I (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Musdan77 (talk) 17:38, 16 March 2013 (UTC)
Please stop adding bullets. Bullets do not go when there are spaces. One of the few edit summaries that you've given said, "Please stop reverting the work of the wikipedia users" (which is not really right, but..) Why do you keep reverting mine (an editor who has a bit more experience than you)? There's a good reason why all of the previous season articles are the way they are. Please read WP:EW and WP:BRD. --Musdan77 (talk) 21:14, 17 March 2013 (UTC)
Replaceable fair use File:Candiceglovertop5.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Candiceglovertop5.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that this media item is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails the first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media item could be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media item is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and edit it to add
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template. - On the file discussion page, write the reason why this media item is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Aspects (talk) 06:13, 1 May 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Kree harrison.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

The article Join the Club (band) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Subject does not meet WP:BAND.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Miniapolis 19:20, 22 February 2014 (UTC)
American Idol (season 13)
[edit]Please stop adding original artist to American Idol (season 13). We have previously discussed it and chose not to include original artist because it results in edit wars between people who fought over who the original artist is. Please respect that decision.
