June 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Run n Fly. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Khorkuto have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Do not add the term 'antagonist' as per Wikipedia WP:ANTAGONIST policy. Run n Fly (talk) 17:02, 28 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for July 9[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ogo Nirupoma, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Anuradha Roy. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:58, 9 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Stareditor45. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Run n Fly (talk) 13:36, 10 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

 Comment: Your editing pattern suggest you are closely related to Star Jalsha. Run n Fly (talk) 13:38, 10 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Conflict of interest noticeboard discussion[edit]

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard regarding a possible conflict of interest incident with which you may be involved. Thank you. Run n Fly (talk) 13:46, 10 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

July 2021[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Ogo Nirupoma. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Do not add the term 'antagonist' as per Wikipedia WP:ANTAGONIST policy Run n Fly (talk) 11:35, 13 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

August 2021[edit]

Information icon Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Dhrubatara, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 20:08, 9 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon

As previously advised, your edits, such as the edit you made to Mon Phagun, give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Stareditor45, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Stareditor45|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. bonadea contributions talk 11:21, 10 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You still have not adequately responded or taken action to the inquiry regarding your appearance as an undisclosed paid editor. If you make any additional edits without complying you may be blocked from editing. bonadea contributions talk 17:08, 10 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

BLP PROD[edit]

Hello, Stareditor45,

Do not remove a BLP Proposed deletion tag from an article unless a reliable reference source is provided. Doing so could be considered disruptive editing. A biography of a living person must contain at least one reference to a reliable source or it is subject to deletion. Instead of removing a valid tag, try finding a good source to support the fact that this person is notable.

If you have questions about this or the deletion processes on Wikipedia, please bring your concerns to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 21:16, 9 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I have given notable references for the living person I have created the Wikipedia page. Stareditor45 (talk) 01:46, 10 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have given it for Shyamoupti Mudly, although I have missed it for Rob Dey. Stareditor45 (talk) 01:48, 10 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sean Banerjee (actor) moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Sean Banerjee (actor), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. DMySon (talk) 05:20, 10 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It is (of course) not constructive for you to recreate the article that was moved to draftspace, with a different title as you did at Sean Banerjee. --bonadea contributions talk 11:17, 10 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

August 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, Stareditor45, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Starseditor45 (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you.2402:3A80:6E4:B82F:E2AC:2718:7FD3:35B6 (talk) 03:47, 15 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:

  • Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
  • State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
  • Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.
