Control copyright icon Hello Swadim, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Electrically small antenna have been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 18:54, 11 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I don't have time to help you write this article. Your recent editing history at Electrically small antenna shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 12:56, 2 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! I'm sorry, but my opponent Caffemac didn't answer to my questions and remarks in talk page. The Concept Caffemac for this article is very limited. Garratt ref on Brean Down Fort

[edit]

Thanks for your edit to Brean Down Fort but could you add the full reference for Garratt 1994.— Rod talk 18:44, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Also I note this a direct copy of a sentence on Brean Down have we a reference which says specifically that he set up the equipment at the fort?— Rod talk 18:47, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Rod, I included in the text the full reference for Garratt 1994. And Yes, It's a direct copy of a sentence on Brean Down. It's normal? Swadim (talk) 18:15, 6 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks - thats fine as long as the Garrett book, which I don't have, says that he set his equipment up at the fort. The van der Bijl book just says "Brean Down" rather than the fort and I would have assumed this would have been at the highest point on the headland rather than closer to sea level at the fort.— Rod talk 18:52, 6 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Kronecker product, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hadamard product (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

A tag has been placed on NATO Science and Technology Organization requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.sto.nato.int/Pages/organization.aspx. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Ways to improve Non-orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing

[edit]

Hello, Swadim,

Welcome to Wikipedia and thanks for creating Non-orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing! I edit here too, under the username Wugapodes}} and it's nice to meet you:-)

I wanted to let you know that I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:-

I hope you continue working on this article! I've moved the article to what I think is the non-acronym title so that it's easier for readers to find. Including more secondary sources, like review articles or book chapters, would help improve the article a lot, as would making sure non-experts can understand the topic.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Wugapodes}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Notice

The article LimpidArmor has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced. No indication of passing WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of NOMA (5G)

[edit]

Hello Swadim,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged NOMA (5G) for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Greetings Swadim,

I've only recently joined both Wikipedia & WikiProject NATO, of which you're a member. On 01Dec22, an IP edit changed the project from semi-active to inactive on a supposed copy edit, but it's stood as such for almost 3 months, so I suppose they were correct. I'm writing to ask if you're active for the project's purposes. If I don't hear back after 30 days (so 29Mar23 by my count) I'll move you to the inactive section of the members list. Feel free to join back anytime.

Thank you & best wishes! KatPro (mrow?) 03:45, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
