Propose renaming Category:Country location map templates to Category:Location map templates by country
Propose renaming Category:City location map templates to Category:Location map templates by city

Nominator's rationale: More consistent with other category names and greater clarity. Many of the maps in subcategories are in fact subnational maps. Zerach (talk) 21:48, 20 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose - These are/should be subcategories of Category:Country templates and Category:City templates, not Category:Templates by country and Category:Templates by city, and should follow their parents' naming convention. -- Black Falcon ^(talk) 05:27, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, there are 8 pages next to the 100+ subcats by country. Probably splitting between country templates (for the 8 pages) and templates by country (for the subcats) is best. Marcocapelle (talk) 03:08, 6 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

That would work, if I understand you correctly.
