No reason to doubt good faith, but a clarification of this as own work would be desirable. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 17:30, 27 October 2018 (UTC)

- The original uploader did tag it as {{PD-user|tantei kid}}, which is a claim of authorship. Barring evidence to the contrary, I'm usually inclined to accept such claims of authorship at face value. In 2005, we were still in a Web 1.0 mindset and so it wasn't uncommon for users to upload web-resolution photos because they thought that was all anyone would ever want (whereas today, if it's a web-resolution photo, it's probably a copyright violation). This image is the re-creation of File:Shes Got a Way 1972 single cover.jpg, which was deleted per Wikipedia:Files for discussion/2016 November 9#She's Got a Way. I thought about using "db-g4" for speedy deletion, but then the image used in two articles, including "Everybody Loves You Now", the song that was the B-side of the single. Also, the caption to describe the image is inaccurate: the image seen in discogs and 45cat don't confirm that the cover is of the 1970s UK release. It's probably that of French release. Regardless, the result from previous FFD nom was to keep just the 1981 cover art, which made the song more prominent than the original 1970s release did. On Commons as File:Donnie Hart Pitching for the Baltimore Orioles in 2016.jpg - does not qualify for speedy deletion because it is a different format. (The Commons one is correctly a JPEG, this one is incorrectly PNG.) B (talk) 16:04, 4 November 2018 (UTC)

Quoting the licensing tag: "It is believed that the use of low-resolution images of such covers solely to illustrate the audio recording in question ... qualifies as fair use under the copyright law of the United States. Any other uses of this image, on Wikipedia or elsewhere, may be copyright infringement". Instead, the file is used to illustrate the article about artist himself, barely mentioning the recording in the main text. The user was already notified numerous times about uploading files against the rules (with many of them deleted) at EnWP, RuWP and Commons. Tatewaki (talk) 16:44, 4 November 2018 (UTC)

- Delete, a vector version of the logo is available, therefore the raster version is unnecessary. --Atomicdragon136 (talk) 05:46, 10 November 2018 (UTC)
