- Soft redirect to q:Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, where it's mentioned. This is a memorable quote (and a meme) from the game, so I think it warrants a soft redirect to this page, an action which'll potentially be helpful to readers. Regards, SONIC678 16:57, 3 November 2023 (UTC)

- The result of the discussion was delete. My understanding is that nothing should be linking here because the class will not exist. Thus, I'll be removing the incoming links post-close. This should probably not be created unless Boxing at the 2024 Summer Olympics or another page gets discussion about the elimination of the weight class. --BDD (talk) 20:40, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
- Boxing at the 2024 Summer Olympics – Men's lightweight → Boxing at the 2024 Summer Olympics (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
The IOC uses numbered weight categories as per this official event list [1]. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 23:58, 26 October 2023 (UTC)
- Delete: I'd be ok with the redirect if there was a Men's lightweight equivalent being contested at the 2024 Summer Olympics for boxing, given that they just changed the names for the 2024 olympics, but there isn't one oddly. It jumps from 57kg (Featherweight) to 63.5kg (Light welterweight). TartarTorte 14:08, 27 October 2023 (UTC)
- What is your opinion on the other weight titles? There is 13 total. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 14:24, 27 October 2023 (UTC)
- The rest of them seem to be fine as the names correspond to the weightclasses in the 2024 Olympics. even if they are not being called such for this olympics. They are generally known by the names in the redirects so they seem fine to me in that they're unambiguous and potentially helpful. This one specifically should be deleted because there is no Men's lightweight class at the 2024 olympics in any capacity. TartarTorte 14:44, 27 October 2023 (UTC)

Not only is this not mentioned at the target page, almost all the web results indicate this isn't exclusively LGBT slag (the closest connection on the first page is one definition that describes it as "often a gay stereotype", none of the others even mention an LGBT connection in the preview) so the target is wrong in any case. Sources point towards this person's name being Reed B. Oliver. Existed as a typo that was quickly fixed when the page was created, it seems. Utopes (talk / cont) 08:34, 11 November 2023 (UTC)
- Keep His name is listed as "Reed P. Oliver" at https://fsmlaw.org/pohnpei/index.htm. However the Pohnpei state website (https://pohnpeistate.gov.fm/lt.gov.html) lists his name as "Reed B. Oliver". - Delete per nom. This has history as an attempted article, but it never got beyond what would be an A10 candidate if restored and I think the author (who hasn't edited since 2015) attempted to make it into a redirect while they worked on their sandbox copy at User:SuburbanFire/sandbox. I can't find any other mention of "Overdrive" in the context of MTG on Wikipedia so there is nowhere else to point this. Thryduulf (talk) 19:59, 18 November 2023 (UTC)

- Weak retarget to Magic: The Gathering core sets, 1993–2007#Notable cards and card changes as a misspelling of "Dual land" which is explained there. I can't find any uses of either as a specific term outside of this context. Thryduulf (talk) 20:04, 18 November 2023 (UTC)
- Delete. Clearly a misspelling of "dual land", and the term "duel" has another meaning in MTG. If we're willing to keep this misspelling, then Thryduulf's suggestion would be the most appropriate action. Mindmatrix 01:18, 19 November 2023 (UTC)

- Giuliani case → Georgia election racketeering prosecution (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Overly vague title pointing at a specific case. As a Giuliani is a politician and lawyer, there are many possibilities for what this might be in reference to. Although I feel it is a similar situation to past US politics RfDs over the last month or so in the sense that there is no target worth pointing at. Utopes (talk / cont) 13:26, 18 November 2023 (UTC)
- Disambig or delete this should ideally point somewhere, but the current target is not that somewhere. This is a term (along with "Giuliani's case") that it seems is frequently used to identify at least two different legal cases, Georgia election racketeering prosecution (the current target) and what I think is Post-election lawsuits related to the 2020 United States presidential election from Pennsylvania#Donald J. Trump for President v. Boockvar. The "obvious" target is Rudy Giuliani#2020 election lawsuits but neither of these are actually linked from there and while there are many articles relating to the events none of them that I've found has anything that would be a good landing point for someone using this search term. If a disambiguation page linking to those articles, Giuliani's main article, and any other relevant ones is viable then that's probably best. If it isn't then deletion in favour of search results is likely the best we can do. Thryduulf (talk) 14:51, 18 November 2023 (UTC)

The radio station known as Star 101.9 in the US to which this redirect is targeted was engaged in a format/frequency swap earlier this year, leaving us with Star 99.1 and Pop 101.9. Star 101.9 (Mackay) should be here instead as the station using this name currently. A hatnote could handle any continued searches for KUCD. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 07:50, 18 November 2023 (UTC)

- Weak retarget both to Scholastic Corporation#Imprints and corporate divisions and move the hatnote from the top of the page to that section as with "Omnibus Books". I don't think "graphix" is actually a common misspelling of "graphics" and a hatnote in the section will quickly get to the disambiguation page. The Scholastic's imprint seems likely to be primary and one of the main exact matches. Skynxnex (talk) 03:21, 2 November 2023 (UTC)

These are not alternate names for Jack the monkey. I do not see better targets on the encyclopedia. Unless someone comes up with a suggestion, I would say Delete'. TNstingray (talk) 14:21, 1 November 2023 (UTC)
- After nominating, I realized that these are the alleged names of the monkey actors across the film franchise (unsourced in the list article). Regardless, my Google searches do not yield anything definitive linking these names to the specific character; in other words, these are not famous actors like Crystal the Monkey. Variations of the name "Jack the Monkey" properly redirect to the character, so I think I am still in the same place as my original nomination. TNstingray (talk) 14:31, 1 November 2023 (UTC)

- Regional university → List of universities in Vietnam#Regional universities (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
There are multiple regional universities beyond those just in Vietnam. Articles exist for Regional Universities Network and Regional University System of Oklahoma, but it is also an umbrella term that can refer to universities in any region you can search that has universities (in the region). - Disambig per nom. Thryduulf (talk) 07:57, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Thryduulf: What I was unsure of is would either of the two linked targets be considered partial disambiguations? The word looks to be an umbrella term, so I'm sure it can be referred to all sorts of regional universities on a case-by-case basis, but how to go about targeting seems broad. Utopes (talk / cont) 08:12, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
- In which case make it a set index. Functionally equivalent but less strictly defined so readers benefit even when dab guidelines say they shouldn't. Thryduulf (talk) 08:14, 12 October 2023 (UTC)

- Disambiguate/SIA per above. This seems to be a term that would better serve readers with a manual index, as I imagine the search engine will spit out many false positives for articles which have both of the words "regional" and "university" but are topics which are not defined as regional universities. - Seclusion room → Padded cell (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Delete, or turn into disambiguation. "Seclusion room" can refer to things other than padded cells (e.g. seclusion / isolation rooms in UK schools). GnocchiFan (talk) 11:09, 10 October 2023 (UTC)
- Modern seclusion rooms in hospitals are not padded cells either, they are the things that are used instead of them. I don't know what a school seclusion room consists of to know how it compares to a hospital one. Secretlondon (talk) 15:33, 10 October 2023 (UTC)
- I believe that the school version is usually just an empty room. You can see a video of one at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8QO7OlgMHw They're sometimes called de-escalation rooms or safety rooms. The idea is that a child who is having a violent moment can be in a place that is relatively safe for the student (e.g., nothing they can stab themselves with, no ability to bolt out of the school and into traffic) and also everyone else (who, since they are no longer in the same room, are out of reach of fists and thrown objects). WhatamIdoing (talk) 20:22, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
- It looks similar. The modern ones in the UK have a bed and a toilet and sink as well, but are otherwise empty. Secretlondon (talk) 21:23, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
- disambiguate also refers to the time-out room for kids, and mancave/womancave/"me"-space, and sensory deprivation room -- 65.92.244.127 (talk) 04:01, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
- There are only two uses in Enwiki, so put a hatnote at Padded cell:

- Hatnote at Padded cell due to low number of uses on Wikipedia Yoblyblob (talk) 14:14, 26 October 2023 (UTC)
- It is a commonly used term for many other uses, which have topic articles on Wikipedia. So, we would need to turn Wikipedia into a dictionary to support all synonyms of all topics, with large footers in articles for their synonyms in that case. -- 65.92.247.90 (talk) 01:10, 19 November 2023 (UTC)

Thanks, —TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 06:26, 18 November 2023 (UTC)- I think that padded cells and seclusion room are very similar. the only difference I see is that the padded cells seem to have padded floors. I think there the same thing because they are both padded rooms to put someone alone in. the only difference is that when it's in a school, they call it a seclusion room. some people have said that the difference between the two is that a seclusion room is empty with no padding but if you look at pictures and videos online you can see that they do have padding. also, the padded cell article says that they are the same thing. Besides Quad HD, QHD may also refer to qHD or quarter HD with lowercase "Q". Wikipedia currently does not support titles starting with the same letter with lowercase letter. However, it can be changed by using {{DISPLAYTITLE}} but if you type the title starting with lowercase letter with uppercase letter, it would return the same value. Vitaium (talk) 01:27, 18 November 2023 (UTC)
- A quirk of the wiki software for this. It will require a disambiguation page then to differentiate between the two spellings. Nicole Sharp (talk) 16:04, 18 November 2023 (UTC)

- @Nicole Sharp: Per the explicit instructions, do not remove the redirect or RfD notice from a page while discussion is ongoing. It's fine to draft a disambiguation page, as you have done, below the RfD message. Other editors may think there is a primary topic here (I've not looked) and disagree with replacing the redirect with a disambiguation page. Thryduulf (talk) 20:20, 18 November 2023 (UTC)
