2024[edit]

@456legend Please make a map for Sanjukta Morcha seat sharing for Lok Sabha 2024. Check candidates in 2024 Indian general election in West Bengal. Make the map with the announced seat sharing now, the map can be updated in future with upcoming information. XYZ 250706 (talk) 13:01, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@456legend Please make for INDIA bloc seat sharing in Tripura. XYZ 250706 (talk) 08:12, 18 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@456legend Please make also map for SPA seat sharing in Tamil Nadu. Please check List of Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance candidates for the 2024 Indian general election#Tamil Nadu. Please add KMDK in same colour of DMK as it is contesting on DMK symbol.
Here are some colour codes for avoiding confusion :
  DMK (21)
  VCK (2)
  MDMK (1) XYZ 250706 (talk) 12:39, 18 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@XYZ 250706 I will need time to make them. But please don't count on me. 456legendtalk 12:17, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Can you please make a Bihar one and a Odisha one for the INDIA bloc? Don't make the West Bengal one yet since that one is yet to be finalised and please do make the Tamil Nadu one. MrMkG (talk) 11:23, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@MrMkG Alright sure. I can work on Bihar and Odisha right now but I think the Tamil Nadu is done by someone else. What about that? 456legendtalk 11:39, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I remember now, their quality was not good. Looks like they got removed by someone. Though the maps are correct: INDIA, AIADMK, NDA. So if you want to, you could follow them and make a new one. Still might have to look up CPI and CPI(M) though since the mapmaker gave them the same color, MDMK too as it's the same color as DMK and thank you for your maps. MrMkG (talk) 12:06, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@MrMkG
Bihar: File:Bihar 2024 INDIA seat share.jpg  Done
Odisha: File:Odisha 2024 INDIA seat share.jpg  Done
I will also try looking into whether maps for Tamil Nadu are needed or not. And thank you for your appreciation. 456legendtalk 13:06, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
👍 Can I ask you to shift the colors of CPI, CPI(M) and CPI(ML)L a bit so that they became distinguishable like you did with Kerala LDF? CPI(ML)L can be an even darker shade. MrMkG (talk) 13:23, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@MrMkG I have used the official colour pallete from the Module:Political party. 456legendtalk 13:38, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You didn't in the Kerala one though, exact colors aren't officially fixed anyways, parties use different shades all the time. But it's okay if you don't want to, thanks regardless. MrMkG (talk) 13:46, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay I get your point. Will the color change on the Bihar map be sufficient for the CPI(ML)L with a much darker shade, since I think both CPI and CPI(M) are distinguishable? Also, for clarification to inform you that I used only the module colors in the Kerala map too. 456legendtalk 13:52, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I see maybe it's their presence with other colors that made it less distinguishable to me. And yes, that would be sufficient, CPI(ML)L with a much darker shade. MrMkG (talk) 14:14, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, there has been an update. VIP was added to the alliance in Bihar and given 3 seats so can you add them to the map? MrMkG (talk) 14:31, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yea sure. But I will only be able to do it tomorrow. 456legendtalk 17:43, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@456legend Please update the tamil nadu map with colour codes I provided you. The colours will help to distinguish between different parties. XYZ 250706 (talk) 17:47, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Alright. Will look into that tomorrow. 456legendtalk 17:49, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There is actually a couple more requests I have, if you don't mind. They are the INDIA alliance seat sharing maps for Rajasthan, Jharkhand and Tripura. MrMkG (talk) 07:06, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Jharkhand: File:Jharkhand 2024 INDIA seat share.jpg  Done
Rajasthan: File:Rajasthan 2024 INDIA seat share.jpg  Done
Tripura: File:Tripura 2024 INDIA seat share.jpg  Done
I will need some time to work on Bihar and Tamilnadu update. 456legendtalk 08:13, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. By the way, the Jharkhand one has a mistske. No. 4 is actually RJD not JMM. MrMkG (talk) 08:37, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have now updated both the Jharkhand and Bihar map. Left with Tamil Nadu for which I am a bit confused regarding the request of @XYZ 250706. Do you want me to recreate the Tamil Nadu seat share map with the colours you have provided instead of the party module? 456legendtalk 10:58, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@456legend You may recreate the map or update the current map. Change colours of DMK, VCK and MDMK only. XYZ 250706 (talk) 14:47, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@456legend Please make a map for Left Front supported candidates in WB. Please follow User:XYZ 250706/sandbox5. XYZ 250706 (talk) 10:51, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your Teahouse question[edit]

Did you find an answer to this question? I wouldn't know how, but I saw it didn't get a response.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 23:13, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Vchimpanzee, even though I haven't received any replies on the Teahouse, I've found a solution to the question. Here: [1] 456legendtalk 00:15, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. It's not recommended that we edit the archives, though I've done it when a question was archived, just in case someone sees the question and wants to use the link that will no lobger work.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 16:15, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
