Your submission at Articles for creation: The Miss Globe 2021 (March 26)

[edit]
Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by Bonadea was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: See Miss Globe International. Three different "Miss Globe" organisations, none of them individually notable, so the contest for one of them in a specific year is definitely not going to be notable.

Good evening my fellow editor, this user Angellka Shurtschen (talk · contribs), has been vandalizing the article "Miss Universe 2022", and used cursed words to comment. She have also been saying that we're "blind" and "lazy". I tried to talk to her but she didn't respond. Here is the message:

B. L. I. N. D

Y'all so blind!!! Y'all so blind because u are all lazy. I said SEARCH it in WIKIPEDIA or GOOGLE about the references since I can't add it to my reference since I'm editing via phone. One day, you'll see that UAE we'll be joining that pageant and I know that and once you see that you'll never be sorry. I know I have a bad record in this WIKI, but please I found real one. Now, if y'all don't search that and you don't gimme permission to put UAE at MU 22 page, then y'all so unapologetically and meanie! y'all never showed me warm welcome. TYSMFHG!! Angellka Shurtschen (talk) 09:27, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Angellka Shurtschen: What do you mean we're blind, your references about Miss Universe UAE is about the first "Top 15" contestants which was for 2021. And, there is no response to the organization about the re-continued debut of the United Arab Emirates in Miss Universe. Plus, you are just using an "article" to gain information. You should know that Wikipedia is not a reliable source, as I already said that in the talk page of Miss Universe 2022. We didn't even get a response from you there even I pinged you. Again, for the last time, do not add content without proof, real proof, and never ever use references, which pointing about 2021 events, and using Wikipedia articles, as sources. The community warned you the other day, but now this is your second warning. You maybe blocked or banned in editing Wikipedia, as I keep repeating to tell that. Edit wars are a threat to the community, so we try our best to avoid it. And by the way, please avoid using bad or cursed words on commenting to talk pages and edit summaries, coz' Wikipedia is not a swearing place. We hope you understand all the policies of Wikipedia. Good day to you. LikeRealTimes I got you a message!📩 13:18, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
"IF U THINK THATS FAKE THEN F*CK YOURSELF YOU MEAN'", "LOOK MOTHERF*CKER", these are the words you said in one of the archives in the history page of "Miss Universe 2022". As I said, you keep using these words to gain attention to editors and administrators that your content is a reality. You need to stop that attitude. LikeRealTimes I got you a message!📩 13:26, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

That's all of it. I'm just saying that you need to help me talk to her about her behavior in "vandalizing" and "swearing". I have also contacted User:Milesq to help. Good day. LikeRealTimes I got you a message!📩 13:42, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, do not worry I will help you talk to that user. I actually contacted an administrator about this issue and the reply is that the actions of this user in the Miss Universe 2022 page is not yet considered vandalism, it is a different case. However, I've checked the user's contributions and saw a lot of vandalism especially at Miss Dominican Republic 2009. I also saw the user's response to your message but I cannot decipher it. I've already encountered a vandal who does profanity and curse words especially at the edit summary so no worries, I will help you.
Thank you for bringing this up to my talk page! Allyriana000 (talk) 14:35, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there, Allyriana000. Thanks for adding more information from every Background sections in each Miss Universe pageants by year, but you need to keep adding more of these section in previous pageants starting from 2012. @User:LikeRealTimes thank you for acknowledging my hard work in adding more information about the Miss Universe pages. I am also currently working on the Tagalog Wikipedia articles of Miss Universe pageants by year since those articles need more attention especially Miss Universe 2019 backwards. I will start editing Miss Universe 2012 as soon as I finish the Tagalog Wikipedia article of Miss Universe 2020. Hello, Allyriana000! Some trolls are vandalizing Miss World 2013, especially on the results. They keep replacing Philippines with India and swapping those two countries in their respective placements. India being the winner, while the Philippines being a semifinalists. This also happened on the Order of Announcements, where they keep replacing all Top 20 countries with India. This violates WP:VD. Please help me stop them vandalizing the article. Have a good day. Hmmm, seems like a lot of trolls have vandalized the page. I think you should message an administrator (like I always do) to report a troll that vandalizes the Miss World 2013 page. Also, maybe you could request for the article to be semi-protected as well. Allyriana000 (talk) 23:57, 6 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@LikeRealTimes, can you do the Background section for the Miss Universe 2006 and Miss Universe 2004 articles? Miss World beauty pageants

[edit]

Hello Allyrianna000,

I have noticed that you have shortened the names of the Miss World contestants in the past editions. What is your reason behind this purpose? I need to know. Thank you! Raymarcbadz (talk) 20:14, 15 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! In articles such as Miss Universe, Miss World, we always use their popular name so that it wouldn't create such confusion. We do not know Pilín León as Carmen Josefina León Crespo or Ulla Weigerstorfer as Ulrike Weigerstorfer. We use their shortened name or their popular name so that it wouldn't cause such confusion and the article could be navigated easily. Allyriana000 (talk) 21:30, 15 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Please focus on the present-year articles instead. For the past editions, please discuss it on the Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Beauty Pageants. Do you want their names to be shortened similarly to the current year across all editions? Raymarcbadz (talk) 20:52, 21 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

please do not remove that the first time because the united arab emirates for the first time in miss world history thanks! Joseatienza (talk) 15:29, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It was not the first time. 1995 was the first time when it happened in Dubai and Johannesburg. Allyriana000 (talk) 15:30, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Miss World 2023 to be held in the united arab emirates for the first time in miss world history thank you! Joseatienza (talk) 15:33, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Nope, it was 1995. Allyriana000 (talk) 15:36, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Nope but Miss World 1995 was held in South Africa Joseatienza (talk) 15:46, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
And if you really want to add the "for the first time" thing, why is that phrase not present in Miss World 2021 when it happened in Puerto Rico for the first time? Where is that phrase when Hong Kong first hosted the pageant in 1989? Where is that phrase when South Africa hosted the pageant in 1992? The thing is, that phrase will only be present if it is the continent's first time to host the pageant, not the country. So stop with the edit war that you're trying to create and improve your editing. And stop calling yourself a dictator, you're just an editor, a Wikipedia editor. February 2023

[edit]

Information icon Hi Allyriana000! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Miss World 2023 several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Miss World 2023, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 21:20, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Allyriana000,
Please do not get into an edit-war on an article even if you completely believe that you are undoing bad edits. It's good to discuss differences of opinion on article talk page or user talk pages. There are limited situations that permit repeatedly reverting another editor's edits (vandalism, copyright violations, BLP-violating content) but needing to be right isn't one of them. I've already given the other editor a short block and I hope you both change the way you are handling the content disagreements in the future. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 21:25, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Reintroducing unreferenced material at Miss World Philippines 2022

[edit]

Hi Allyriana000, I'm concerned about your revert that introduced a great deal of unreferenced material. First of all, you provided no edit summary to explain why, which is rather un-collegial and actually rude to co-editors. Would you mind going to Talk:Miss World Philippines 2022 and explaining why you think unreferenced material should be in the article, against WP:V policy? ☆ Bri (talk) 15:49, 28 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I just noticed that you added a citation when you restored the table, which is good. The comment about not providing an edit summary still stands. Please use those edit summaries to explain what you are doing to avoid situations like this. ☆ Bri (talk) 16:03, 28 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I apologize, however I already have a reference found at Philippine Star for the other semi-finalists. I will add it right now. Allyriana000 (talk) 16:09, 28 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
And by the way, the Rappler reference also had Felizarta and Chan in it (the runners-up), but you still removed their respective rows? Allyriana000 (talk) 16:11, 28 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Whoops, didn't see that the Rappler article continued for a sentence or two one sentence after the ad. ☆ Bri (talk) 16:59, 28 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! I removed the Contestants table at Miss World 2016 since the two references were not reliable. Allyriana000 (talk) 05:52, 30 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Those were the two sources left. Allyriana000 (talk) 05:52, 30 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Changes at Miss World 1978

[edit]

Hi Allyriana! I made some changes at the Miss World 1978 article, and currently i'm going to add the background section of Miss World 1978, free feel to check it out! Hitsme (talk) 02:57, 12 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I do really appreciate this, but I think you should really focus at the 2010s articles because majority of your edits are unreferenced and that is against the rules of Wikipedia. Allyriana000 (talk) 11:41, 15 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Good day, @Hitsme. I hope you continue making changes for the Background section of the Miss World/Miss Universe articles, since it would really help to make those articles be more encyclopedic. Thank you! Allyriana000 (talk) 01:35, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Your welcome! Hitsme (talk) 04:55, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Hitsme, you haven't continued making changes and majority of the Miss Universe articles has lost their unreferenced content/ was turned into redirect pages. Allyriana000 (talk) 14:18, 17 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! So sorry for not editing the Miss Universe/World articles, I was busy with school on the past few days and couldn't have any motivation on editing. Hitsme (talk) 01:58, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Is Norway still counted as a contestant at Miss Universe 2022? And opinions about the Miss Grand International 2023 article?

[edit]

Someone added Norway to the withdrawals list. I'm not sure if I should redo his/her edit or keep it as it was. I was confused if this country is still counted as a contestant or not. Let me know if you already have an answer. Thanks! LikeRealTimes (talk) 05:01, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

And by the way, can you state your opinion on Miss Grand International 2023? The article is kinda a bit too "overdetailed". LikeRealTimes (talk) 05:04, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
For the case of Miss Universe Norway, you have to keep it as is since Norway withdrew despite being judged at the preliminaries. As for Miss Grand International 2023, as well as other Miss Grand articles, for me, yes it is too overdetailed and I wish you could do something about it. It is also a case of notability, and I believe Miss Grand International is not a notable event. I always consider the top four international beauty pageants as the only notable ones. If you continue to remove that marking the second time for the host country to stage the final i will be blocked you. ☆ Joseatienza (talk) 23:35, 7 July 2023 (PHT)

I think you're the one that should be blocked because of your unsourced, unreferenced edits. Only administrators have the power to block people. Allyriana000 (talk) 12:08, 8 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

July 2023

Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 19:13, 8 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Noted @Liz. I'm so sorry my impulse got me again. Thank you for suggesting me this. Allyriana000 (talk) 21:15, 8 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Miss South Africa 2023

[edit]

I have removed your entry of Bryoni going to Miss Universe in November, as it has not been formally announced who will represent them. As Natasha Joubert, the new Miss South Africa, competed at Miss Universe 2020, it is generally assumed she will not compete. However, the Miss South Africa and Miss Universe organizations have not confirmed who will go.

I am not doing this to be rude, but we want the correct information to be posted, when it’s announced.

Have a great day!

Heidi Heidi bradshaw (talk) 02:20, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I wasn't the one who added Bryoni at the contestants table. But its okay, we'll wait for their official announcement. Allyriana000 (talk) 02:44, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
But the selection of participants section must remain unchanged since a runner-up will fill the position as Miss Universe South Africa, even if it is not Bryoni. Allyriana000 (talk) 02:46, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Miss Universe 2023 contestants bio pages

[edit]

Hi Ally! I just came from editing the bio page of Madison Kvaltin. The user who created it made some several mistakes, and this article isn't the only one he/she made. More articles like Priyanka Annuncia and Lilja Pétursdóttir were his/her creations and all of their similarities are that both have some mistakes in grammar and links. All of them even had fewer reference to support with. I wanted to improve these articles, but I can't do them all by my own, as I myself have too many personal work to do. Can you help me do an improvisation on these articles with me? I rather wait for your response first before I continue on. Thanks! LikeRealTimes (talk) 01:23, 14 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I also have personal work to do on my own, so I'm sorry if I couldn't help you with these articles. Allyriana000 (talk) 02:43, 14 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

February 2024

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Miss World 2023. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Again you are edit warring. Joseatienza (talk) 09:42, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop copying @Sciencefish's comment on your talk page. It won't work on me. Allyriana000 ([[User talk:{{unblock-spamun|khalidcazanit|i'm not promoting any business i'm just trying to spread informations by my articles on wikipedia#top|talk]]) 12:37, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for edit warring, as you did at Miss World 2023. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 14:36, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I apologize for the actions that I have made in the aforementioned article. My actions towards a certain user is wrong, and instead of reaching a consensus, I took the wrong way and blatantly reverted their edits. I may have good intentions, but those intentions do not always reciprocate my actions. I promise that I will not do it again, and continue to only add information and follow the three-revert rule. I do not wish to cause any harm to any user, and I do sincerely apologize for my actions. Allyriana000 (talk) 15:10, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

As discussed below, I have unblocked you sitewide and pblocked you from editing Miss World 2023 for two weeks. Bbb23 (talk) 19:34, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Do you understand that 1) edits that you disagree with are not vandalism and 2) the three revert rule is not an entitlement to three reverts, that you can be edit warring with fewer reverts? How will you resolve editing disputes in the future? 331dot (talk) 16:27, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I do understand that edits that I disagree with are not vandalism. Yes I do also know that edit warring with reverts fewer than three is possible depending on the behavior of the user. In the future, I would resolve editing disputes by discussing the matter on the talk page of the article, and not solely relying on edit summaries to give a comment. I would also only revert edits when it is necessary, and would not cause harm/edit warring with other users. Allyriana000 (talk) 16:38, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@331dot: Sounds good to me, but @Bbb23: can be a hard sell. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 18:05, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@331dot and Deepfriedokra: Do I detect a dig, Dfo? How about an unblock in exchange for Allyriana agreeing to a 2-week restriction against editing Miss World 2023 (the article, not the Talk page)? I'd make the restriction only one week, but I blocked the other user for a week, and I'd prefer their being "back" before the restriction expires.--Bbb23 (talk) 18:20, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Bbb23: Sounds good to me. Maybe make it a two week WP:PARTIALBLOCK as a reminder. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 18:27, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Allyriana, do you agree to change the sitewide block to a 2-week pblock from the article?--Bbb23 (talk) 18:43, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I agree to this. Allyriana000 (talk) 18:45, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

[edit]

Good luck and cheers - the reverted edit grammar not clear, context is more fitting at the Binibining Pilipinas article; therefore, if you please, I in put this Book as you suggested here In its Diamond Jubilee edition, the pageant launched 'Beauty Ever After', a special edition coffee table book priced at P5,000. The book traces the pageant's legacy by featuring past Binibini queens, from 1969 Gloria Diaz to 2018 Catriona Gray. Please review my edit, with all respect very sincerely yours Valenzuela400 (talk) 09:29, 8 July 2024 (UTC).[reply]

Recreating Miss Universe 1989 in English Wikipedia

[edit]

Good Evening, Allyriana, it has been a while since I last checked in, but however, I have a serious matter for you to talk about. When I checked the Wikipedia of Miss Universe 1989, I noticed that it was left blanked and also noticed that Bri deleted all the text and information in that time of pageant. Will you please recreate Miss Universe 1989 in English Wikipedia if you have time?

Thank you! Hitsme (talk) 11:29, 6 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Miss Universe 2024

[edit]

There is no need to mention the new crown etc in the top box, as other editions do not mention the crowns used. However, I’ve corrected the grammar to fit in with Wikipedia’s MOS, as mentioned in the notice box right at the top of the article.

kind regards
