Welcome to my talk page. You can leave a comment below - thank you for your time in helping me to be a better Wikipedian.

Thanks for the tip!
[edit]I got your welcome message, checked out your page, opened up the citation hunt tool, and the very first source was something I could help with! I just started on Wikipedia, inspired to contribute by noticing a lot of lack in WikiSpeedRuns. I appreciate the tip about citation hunt and would love to know of any other tools you've found! - Hi! I'm so glad that you found something to do on Wikipedia! Something else I really enjoy is monitoring the recent changes log to help revert vandalism, and, as soon as you become 'autoconfirmed', you can learn how to do so here. Other thing I like to do is to take a look at this list of uncategorized pages and find categories for them, and a final thing I like is to fix grammar on articles in this list and add Wikilinks to articles in this list. You can find more odd little things like these at the Task Centre.
- Thanks for helping Wikipedia, and if you ever need anything else, please don't hesitate to ask me here! MolecularPilot 22:01, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
My change
[edit]Why on earth did you have to do that like that was rude — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2607:FEA8:A45F:300:DD38:6F30:C1C3:F62 (talk) 01:56, 4 March 2024 (UTC)
- Hi! You edited in the phrase that are very very very very very very good into the article. This is a subjective opinion, and, as per the Wikipedia policy on having a neutral point of view in articles, I undid your edit as we try to maintain an encyclopedia which is free from personal commentary. If you have any other questions about Wikipedia's policy on the neutral point of view, please don't hesitate to the community Teahouse or myself on this page. MolecularPilot 02:01, 4 March 2024 (UTC)
Under Parallel Skies sources
[edit]I think 5 sources are too much? two to three sources are fine most of the sources don't have additional info so no need to put more unless a additional info in one source has it. 122.55.235.122 (talk) 06:51, 4 March 2024 (UTC)
- Hi! I only reverted your edit because you didn't have a summary, I'm actually okay with your rationale that you re-added your edit in with (too many sources).
- You'll have to discuss with "SpringProof" who is the user who reverted the edits the second time (with description).
- Have a great day! MolecularPilot 06:53, 4 March 2024 (UTC)
- I already did but he just removed my statement instead of replying. 122.55.235.122 (talk) 07:01, 4 March 2024 (UTC)
- Oh! I looked through the history and it says the reason was "Rollback Complaining" so I'm not really sure why your comments were removed as there most definitely should be open discussion about rollbacks/reverts and it is not "complaining" to request this! You were also very polite in your comment.
- I recommend asking at the Teahouse for some help with this as I'm just a new user so don't really understand the full social dynamics of this website. MolecularPilot 07:06, 4 March 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, and thank you for removing vandalism from Ebrahim Lutfalla. We appreciate this, but unfortunately your edit was not successful in restoring the article to its pre-vandalised state. For future reference, it is better to deal with vandalism by checking the article's page history to determine how it appeared before it was vandalised. You can then restore the whole article, or the relevant part of it, to an appropriate earlier version. If you simply delete the visible vandalism then any content removed or overwritten by the vandal is lost. See How to deal with vandalism for details. Thank you. - Sumanuil. Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 06:50, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, MolecularPilot,
- Please sign all of your comments on talk pages, noticeboards and deletion discussions so editors don't have to look at the page history to see who made a comment. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 06:51, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry! Sometimes I get so caught up in thinking about my argument that I forget (and I'm used to VisualEditor which autosigns but AfD needs source editor).
- I'll make sure to double-check in future! :) MolecularPilot 06:53, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
Fixing minor problems after an edit
[edit]You don't need to fix small issues immediately after a page is edited. It is very likely the editor will notice them and fix them in the very near future. You can wait some time for the editor to finish. You may ask why the editor would publish their work in progress and not preview their changes. They would publish during the edit to prevent accidental loss of their work. 76.149.22.159 (talk) 08:22, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
- Hi!
- Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia and leaving me a message!
- I think you were the editor whose changes I copyedited here: [1].
- If I see your IP address again, I'll now know that you make edits in parts & I'll wait before copyediting.
- For future reference, there's a function called preview intended to check your changes before pressing submit to make sure they are correct - it shouldn't result in any "accidental loss of work".
- I also strongly recommend creating an account!
- Have a nice day! :) MolecularPilot 08:54, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
Rollback
[edit]Hi MolecularPilot. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:
- Being granted rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or Ultraviolet. It just adds a [Rollback] button next to a page's latest live revision - that's all. It does not grant you any additional "status" on Wikipedia, nor does it change how Wikipedia policies apply to you.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear and unambiguous cases of vandalism only. Never use rollback to revert good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war, and it should never be used in a content-related dispute to restore the page to your preferred revision. If rollback is abused or used for this purpose or any other inappropriate purpose, the rights will be revoked.
- Use common sense. If you're not sure about something, ask!
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Fastily 20:18, 22 October 2024 (UTC)

Salmon as food
[edit]@MolecularPilot:Hello. I saw you thanked me for my recent edit on Salmon as food. Would like to know any specific reason for this. I am a beginner and would like to know everything that pleases other Wikipedians, so I can understand what is good to do at Wikipedia. One curious question though. As I was finalizing my edit, the page was saying that the infobox had a error regarding Cholesterol. I went to the template source [Template:Infobox nutritional value]. I realized, that cholesterol begins with a small "c" rather than the big "C". I changed that, and apparently the error got fixed. Does it happen with infoboxes - i.e. even capitalization matters? Kindly advise. Thanks. Neotaruntius (talk) 00:34, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
- Hi! I thanked you for adding an interesting new section to the article and referencing it really well, it's always great to see editors add new perspectives to the article and back them app with sources.
- It can depend on the individual infobox, but generally parameters are case sensitive (and almost always lowercase). Thanks for spotting that mistake with the box & fixing it.
- If you have any other questions please feel free to reach out to me!
- Have a great day! :) MolecularPilot 00:49, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks @MolecularPilot for the kind comments. I sure will ask a question as and when it arises. It is so nice to see helpful Wikipedians like you around, who encourage beginners so nicely. Thanks very much for appreciation. I feel encouraged. Neotaruntius (talk) 11:34, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
Pending changes reviewer granted
[edit]Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.
Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

- @BD2412 I did in the next edit, I'm sorry it was hard to both restore my content and then remove references it in a single edit on mobile so I undid your undo of my edit and then did the things that you wanted :) MolecularPilot 01:22, 1 November 2024 (UTC)

Regarding Submission declined for User:Raghavhere/Great Learning (Company)
[edit]MolecularPilot Thank you for looking into the article I appreciate the feedback and need some clarity. The sources mentioned in the aricle are notabile and trustworthy. Infact this was put after reviewing the other articles already approved like CodeChef, Hello English, FIITJEE, Interval Learning, ePathshala, Physics Wallah, Codementor, Testbook, Extramarks, Educomp Solutions, Doubtnut, Scaler (company) and many more. Can you point to more specific things you feel is different than what is already mentioned on these articles that can be fixed. I'm happy to make the necessary changes. Raghavhere (talk) 07:05, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, @Raghavhere:! Thanks you for creating the draft. I declined the submission for now, because while all the references are from reliable sources, they are things like company mergers/sales/buying, the announcement of annual earnings, opening offices, hiring people etc. which fall under a special list which can be found at WP:CORPTRIV. Anything on that list cannot count when determining notability, and, unfortunately all of the current references on your draft cover things on the list. If you can find reliable, independent coverage that's about things not on the list, than I'll be happy to accept the submission. MolecularPilot 🧪️✈️ 08:43, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
