Re: HBO article - trimmed history

As for starting a historical article, I think that could be a compromise (the Nickelodeon and Freeform articles cite precedent for this, plus HBO's history is meaty enough that such a solution would make more sense). Additionally, I'll try to make certain edits to the main body of the history (including condensing info on the development, and maybe rerouting some content on Sterling Manhattan to the Home Box Office, Inc. article), but a middle ground approach would work better as the amount of content removed did inadvertently lead to potential holes in the context. 2022 Elections Task Force

Hi QueensanditsCrazy,

I'm looking at starting a task force of Wikipedia editors to work on the pages of candidates up for election in 2022. Many congressional member pages have very few votes or political positions (for example, compare Michelle Steel and Steve Chabot against Nicole Malliotakis), and so I think it would be a great resource for us to flesh out a lot of these pages ahead of the election to better support people who come to Wikipedia for information before they vote.

I see you've been active on a couple of congressperson pages recently so thought you might be interested. If you are, please message me on my talk page. Once I have a couple of interested editors I will work on building a task force page so we can coordinate our work. No worries at all if you're not interested or too busy. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. Recent death comments

Hi there, you are making statements as part of RD nominations that simply do not make sense. Please note:

• Certainly notable for RD There is no such thing as a notability requirement for an RD listing other than having an article (and having died). The criterion that needs to be met is that the article is in good shape.
• A DYK would also be fitting i think Wrong. Please familiarise yourself with DYK criteria at WP:DYKRULES; those are very tight and there is no way that the article under discussion meets any of the three basic criteria.
