Bright, shiny, new section

Damn! :P I can't say I listen to much Mozart... My mom's a Bach fan though, I hear plenty of his stuff. Yea, well, hopefully they respond. Oftentimes there are some brilliant photos on flickr, but we can't use them because of the licensing. Sucks. Nah, don't worry about it, I'm having a lazy week. Well, a sick week - I've got a stomach virus, but it counts as being lazy since I'm in bed typing this! :P Oooh, money - yes please! ♥NiciVampireHeart00:31, 10 October 2009 (UTC)

Ya, ya. Ouchie! Sounds painful. Jesus, listen to us complain. We're like old women, even though I'm 18 and you're! Crazy. Yea, like this photo of Stephanie McMahon. ♥NiciVampireHeart01:03, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
Hmmm, I dug up some more info for Rosey and The Hurricane, but the problem is they didn't do anything! They had a "feud" with La Resistance, which was about 6 matches spaced over 10 months! Ridiculous. ♥NiciVampireHeart23:54, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
Yea, yea. Hmmm, that's a pretty good image. I'll have to drop a note whenever I get around to it. Yep, three years of teaming, and they didn't do anything overly notable. *Rolls eyes* That's why I like ROH. They pay attention to their tag team division. Hey, don't worry about it! Just to let you know, I probably won't be online tomorrow night, I have to stay late at school for a project, so it might take me a little why to have a read-through of the lead. ♥NiciVampireHeart21:21, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
I'm not sure it's that so much as just knowing that tag teams are an integral part of wrestling. Cool, cool. Let me know. ♥NiciVampireHeart21:11, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
Thank you. :) Hey, don't worry about it, I'm just grateful you're keeping an eye on Cody and Ted. I appreciate it, it's nice to know they're not going to be horribly vandalised when I come back. Nah, it's cool. Take your time. We're in no rush. ♥NiciVampireHeart21:35, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
Ya, ya. I'm reverting up to 21 edits at a time at the moment, since I swear I'm the only person watching some articles. *Rolls eyes* In that case, I guarantee I'll have had a look over it by the time you log on on Sunday. :) ♥NiciVampireHeart21:49, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

<--Put Nick Nemeth on your watchlist and you'll catch up easily. I swear I'm the only person watching that page. :( Hey, I never promised nothing! I guaranteed. Difference. ProbablyNiciVampireHeart18:24, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

To Arthur!
I know. I come back after a week, and have to revert about 20 edits at a time. Quite annoying. Hmm, the lead. 1) "based on the Raw brand" - link brand to WWE Brand Extension. 2) "their ring personas was that of a duo" should be "their ring personas were those of a duo" 3) "and from there on would compete together as a team" - is there a missing word? Shouldn't it be "and from there on they would compete together as a team"? 4) "joined forces with WWE Diva Stacey Keibler" - shouldn't it say that she became Super Stacey? Something like "joined forces with WWE Diva Stacey Keibler, who adopted a superhero ring persona and the name Super Stacey". Apart from that it looks good. Aye, to Arthur. I'll tell ya, Arthur's Day was a brilliant excuse to drink way too much alcohol. :) ♥NiciVampireHeart14:05, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
Yep. I don't understand idiots that feel the need to vandalise articles. Yea, lead looks good. I'd say you could add it and nominate it at GAN now. Exactly, but it's nice to have an excuse to drink loads. :P It was party central in the city centre. Great crack. ♥NiciVampireHeart15:03, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
Exactly. :P Yes, you do annoy me constantly. :P Nah, kidding. Sure thing, what's the article? ♥NiciVampireHeart12:23, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
Jesus, Brad Pitt? You couldn't have picked a nice one for me, huh? :P Yea, I'll do it now, and drop ya a note when I'm done. ♥NiciVampireHeart17:14, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
Hmmm, well I am quite partial to a bit of Brad, especially in Troy where he's just all ripppling muscles. :) No, I looked at the images, saw the one of the Ocean's 11 cast (damn good film by the way) and went "Oh fun. How the f*ck am I gonna do that one?" You should probably check over the alt text to make sure that it's all Americanized and/or actually makes sense by the way. ♥NiciVampireHeart17:40, 21 October 2009 (UTC)

<--Ooh, Fight Club, that was brilliant. It's been ages since I've seen that. Cool, cool. Yea, consensus was formed - there were "two" people arguing against it, but eh, Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Jeangabin/Archive. Yes it probably should be removed, although I could swear I read something in HBK's book about him using the spike piledriver? I don't have my copy unfortunately, a friend borrowed it so I can't check. Maybe I'm just imagining things.... ♥NiciVampireHeart18:02, 21 October 2009 (UTC)

Pity. I remember him saying something about he was using the spike piledriver, and used the superkick as a signature move, and then decided the superkick would be a good finisher. Or something... I dunno. ♥NiciVampireHeart18:17, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
Hmmm. I'll see if I can get the book back this weekend and check and see. I can't remember ever hearing/reading how the name SCM came about actually.... ♥NiciVampireHeart18:48, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
I musta glossed over that part. :( Anway, my friend's finished reading it and he's gonna drop it back to me sometime this weekend. I'll see what I can find in it about the piledriver. Hmmm, yes, that's tricky. It could come out really awkwardly. I'll think about it and see if I can think of a suggestion. ♥NiciVampireHeart19:32, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
Well, I was really annoyed... Nah, joking, joking. It's fine. :) My friend's dropping it around tonight, so I'll see if I can find the info. ♥NiciVampireHeart13:13, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
Really? *Runs off to check* Well, I've have to replace that with the source from DiBiase's article. It looks that way! It's strange, I thought they were going to put over Morrison, not Miz. Well, in fairness, I only got 2 predictions right - the divas and the iron man match. I knew there was no way in hell Cena was leaving Raw. ♥NiciVampireHeart15:23, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

<--Well, I like Miz, but the next HBK? Nah, no way. There's only one HBK. :) I actually Raw was going to win because I didn't figure Vince would let his baby lose. Raw is Vince's show. No, I was going to be sad that Cena would be ruining SmackDown on me. :) By the way, wasn't Boretista's heel turn seriously predictable? As soon as he moved to SmackDown, I was like "He'll be heel in a few months now". ♥NiciVampireHeart15:35, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

Hmmm, you know people who wanted Cena on SmackDown? Are they mad? Actually, yes, I can believe that. Who else are they going to feud with? DX is busy with their feud with Legacy and promoting the guest hosts every week. There's a major lack of main event talent on Raw at the moment. ♥NiciVampireHeart15:50, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
Weird. People being happy about Cena being champion is a foreign concept to me! :P Judging by last night, I have no idea. I heard that there was going to be a Survivor Series match - Team DX vs. Team Legacy, but apparently not. *Shrugs* No, it's too soon for Ted to main event - he'll be up there by this time next year though I think (barring injury or suspension or something). Well, Big Show is apparently main eventing SD now.. *rolls eyes* Anyway, good news, my friend dropped HBK's book back to me last night, so I'll try and find the reference today. ♥NiciVampireHeart12:02, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
Yep, it's why I prefer to watch ROH. Good wrestling, good storylines, crazy people and good looking guys. :P What's not to like? :) Hmmm, I've been looking, but I haven't found it yet. I'll keep going, I'll have found it by tomorrow, guaranteed. By the way, I made a bit of a start on Matt Anoa'i today. It's not in too bad shape, it just needs expansion on his early career and the 3-Minute Warning sections and some more references. And a lead (hint, hint). :) ♥NiciVampireHeart18:30, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
[1] uploads the weekly tv show every thursday. :) It's not as good as the DVDs, but it's still damn good. Hmmm, I was looking in the middle of his WWE career. Your suggestion is better. I'll look later. Yea, I'll probably need a copyedit when I'm done, if that's cool. It'll probably be tomorrow or Thursday though, 'cause I get references to find and a life to live. :P ♥NiciVampireHeart19:19, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
You're welcome. :) I can't find. I found a mention of a fisherman suplex as his finisher, but no piledriver. Maybe we imagined it? Cool, thank you. It'll probably be tomorrow though, I'm still wading through sources at the moment. :( ♥NiciVampireHeart17:30, 28 October 2009 (UTC)

<--Oh, yeah remove it. Sure, sure. I noticed you removing the "Cite epsiode" I'll keep an eye out. Well, it's sources and searching for info fopr his career betwenn 1997 and 2001. I can't find anything. Any halp would be appreciated. Hmmm, I'm about to log off to go to dinner, but I'll try and get on later. ♥NiciVampireHeart17:42, 28 October 2009 (UTC)

Cool, thank you, and it's no problem. Oh, you'll definetly have the lead done will ya? :P ♥NiciVampireHeart14:00, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
Nah, it's cool. I know how that feels. Hmm, the lead. 1) "currently works for All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW)" - I'm not sure that he does. The last source I could find about him working for AJPW was in 2007. 2) "as Samoan Gangsta Party" --> "as the Samoan Gangsta Party" 3) "Throughout the mid-1990s, Anoa'i competed in various independent promotions. It was also during that time that he won various tag team championships" --> "Throughout the mid-1990s, Anoa'i competed in various independent promotions, winning various tag team championships". Might as well keep it short and sweet. :) 4) "After two years of teaming, they won the World Tag Team Championship. Though, after losing the World Tag Team title, the team would disband" --> "After two years of teaming, they won the World Tag Team Championship, but disbanded shortly after losing the championship." 5) "including AJPW, in the latter where he currently competes" - again, I can't source that. 6) "played in the main event of the World Series of Poker" - I can't find a source for that anywhere, and I ended up removing it from the article. Apart from that, it looks good. Thanks for your help on the main article with the sources by the way. I think it's ready for a copyedit, whenever you get online. :) ♥NiciVampireHeart12:55, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
Brilliant, thanks. I'll add the lead and nominate the article. Thanks for your help. :) ♥NiciVampireHeart19:59, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
Well, it's much appreciated. I guess so. :( I have exams the first week of December, so I need to study and won't be online a whole lot unfortunately. ♥NiciVampireHeart15:53, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
Oh really? I'm not stressed out yet, but I will be soon. Yep, Spirit Squad next. Hmmm, La Resistance. I was never the biggest fan of those guys, but if you want to, I don't mind. ♥NiciVampireHeart16:26, 3 November 2009 (UTC)

<--Wait, professors are telling you to take exams seriously? Wow, who've thunk it? :P Well, I don't mind too much, and to be honest, I feel like it's your turn to pick what we work on. Legacy was me, Spirit Squad is me, so it's time we did one of your choices. :) Fair is fair. Just as long as Cena's not involved I won't protest too much! ♥NiciVampireHeart05:41, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

Interesting. It's always been my opinion that most teachers/professors couldn't give a damn what results their students get. They're all paid irregardless of exam results or pass rates or whatever, so their first priorities aren't their students. Or maybe I've just had some lousy teachers over the years. No, I don't mind. too much! :P We'll do La Resistance. Hey, I can guarantee you that any project involving Cena won't be our project, it'll be your project! ♥NiciVampireHeart00:19, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
Yea, yea. No, honestly, I don't mind. We'll do La Resistance. No, I don't see him forming a stable either. He did have that thing with Cryme Tyme for like three weeks right? It didn't work out so good. Out of curiosity, why haven't you ever tried to get Cena to FA? ♥NiciVampireHeart07:41, 7 November 2009 (UTC).
I won't back out. I'll just make you do most of the work! :P Wouldn't suprise me if that's why they did it. I'm not a fan of Cryme Tyme, they really just annoy me. Although JTG is quite talented. Hmmm, you have quite a way to go to become the main contributor! Wow. Hey, if you need/want help with HBK or Randy let me know. Them I like! I wouldn't mind helping out. Yea, sources would be the main problem I think. I've considered attempting to get Jeff to FA a few times, but I feel very confident that it wouldn't pass. :( ♥NiciVampireHeart06:54, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
Yea, you only have to make another 700 edits to become the top contibutor! Not a problem at all! Hmmm, never mind FA, I'm suprised Lords of Pain got through a GA review! Maybe I'll get around to putting Jeff for a PR sometime soon. It's about time I took the leap to getting FAs as well as GAs. Although, I'm not the top contributor. My top edited article and I only come in second. :( I'd say Noble didn't get fired 'cause he's a producer/road agent for SD as well as a wrestler. While Kendrick allegedly is very fond of pot. I agree though, I much prefer Kendrick. And Paul London for that matter. Speaking of London, have have you seen this? I die laughing at Bryan Danielson's reactions every time I see it. :) ♥NiciVampireHeart11:38, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
Yea, absolutely. I'll have to wait 'til around Christmas to open a PR though, I won't have time to respond to comments otherwise. No, I don't think I told you that. I'm the top contibutor to Matt Hardy, are you confusing the two? Hmmm, I check the sources whenever I review a GAN. Ah well. Yep, that's the rumour. Shame really - though I was suprised that he lasted as long as he did after London was released. Oooh, Chris Masters, now him I don't like. Not talented or interesting at all. I probably did show that vid to Will, but it must have been ages ago. How about this one? WWE really screwed up letting Colt Cabana go. :( Hey, it's no problem. You know I always got your back. Plus that guy was acting like a dick, so... ♥NiciVampireHeart11:57, 11 November 2009 (UTC)

^^I like this template - I just found it. It's seriously useful. :) Maybe, I don't remember that conversation at all. I thought about looking in your archives for it, and then realised that it would take an eternity or two, so... Yea, isn't having reliable sources a criterion? I was pretty strict on it in my reviews. Yea, I didn't think so. All respect to Kendrick, but he's no HBK. :) I was suprised he was pushed at all after London's release, and once he was moved to Raw I knew it was the end of the line. WWE screw up a lot! Here's hoping they don't screw up with Bryan Danielson. You're totally welcome. Don't worry, I know, and I fully expect you defend me if some patronising ass starts posting comments about me! :P ♥NiciVampireHeart11:03, 12 November 2009 (UTC)

Wow, that was almost a year ago. Well, I've improved - I'm number one on both Matt and the Hardy Boyz now, just not on Jeff. :( Hmmm, alrighty then. No, I know what you meant. What I meant was I didn't think that WWE would go anywhere with the angle of Kendrick/Ezekiel because Kendrick's nowhere near as good as HBK, as much as I like Kendrick. I've actually met that Irish guy! At an Irish Whip Wrestling show back in 2005. Nice guy, not so sure about the wrestling. He's got the whole monster squash thing down to a "t" though. Actually, I'll admit, I marked out on his debut a) because I'd met him before, and b) because he spoke Gaeilge, and I thought that was awesome! Sad, I know... Damn straight! You can't screw with the cool duo and get away with it! :P ♥NiciVampireHeart10:26, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
Wow! Yea, my goal for 2010 - be numero uno for Jeff. Though, I hope I don't become number one by having update Jeff going to jail. :( I was very disappointed when he got arrested. Aw, man. That's an excellent photo. No, it's fine; I don't think I was very clear in my original response, that's why you got confused. You have no idea how tempted I was to type "Oh, you met Cena? Who cares?", but I won't. :P Have you ever met HBK? Now that would be awesome! Yea, well, it was strange to hear someone speaking "as Gaeilge" on American tv, so I thought it was brilliant. What can I say? I'm a patriot at heart! Hmmm, a team name and a slogan! We're expanding! Soon the cool duo will have taken over! ♥NiciVampireHeart08:37, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
Yep. My New Year's Resolutions on-wiki are 1) be numero uno at Jeff's article, 2) get an FA, 3) ensure the cool duo stay kickass! :P Yea, yea, I know. I did read somewhere that apparently what happened was someone sent him the drugs (like a parcel in the post) and tipped off the cops, and when the cops raided, they found the parcel. Apparently everyone who knows him is confident he won't get a jail sentence because of it, but I don't know. It wasn't exactly a reliable source that I read that one. Yea, one of Miz with the US Championship would be a nice addition to his article - his first singles championship in WWE and all. Confession: I've never been to a WWE event. Or a TNA or ROH one. Actually, ROH has never held a show in Ireland, if they had I would be so there. :) I attend a lot of the kind of random events that are held in Ireland, so I've met Sheamus O'Shaunessy, a bunch of random wrestlers with no wikipedia articles, and Joe E. Legend, who I went for a beer with 'cause I knew the promoter and he invited me out with a bunch of the wrestlers. Super funny guy, and he had some hilarious stories about Edge and Christian. Oooh, front row at 'Mania, very nice. Shame HBK lost to Cena that night though. :( Here's hoping HBK get a championship run at Survivor Series - he deserves it. In that case, soon the cool duo are going to cement their takeover! or somethingNiciVampireHeart09:14, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
Yea, I know - it struck me as fairly ridiculous. I'd love to see him back in WWE soon, simply because I want him to get a long title reign. Yea, I wish they'd come. Or at least go back to England, that way I can just cross the Irish Sea. *Shrugs* Sucks, but what can ya do? I know. :) I like the fact that I know a promoter - it's really interesting talking to the wrestlers. Hmmm, y'know I was really suprised that 'Taker won the title again - he's supposed to be in really bad shape physically. I'd love to see HBK get another run with the championship - better him than Cena or HHH. I have no idea - I just typed some stuff, and that's the result. Meh. ♥NiciVampireHeart14:17, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
Sorry about the late reply. I read your comment a few days ago, and just forget to respond. Yep, I'll be cheering on HBK on Sunday night. He's the only one out of him, HHH and Cena that I'd like to see as champion. I'll confess to being very, very happy when Hornswoggle got pedigreed on Monday. :) I hope he doesn't interfere. He already take up too much tv time, we don't need to see him on ppv as well. Yea, it's fun. Hey, who would want to have a beer with Vince? That'd just be weird. Oh, I've done the alt text for Rosey and The Hurricane. ♥NiciVampireHeart16:18, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
I'm sorry. Yes, I do root for Irish people. Hornswoggle is from Wisconsin. Plus, everyone knows leprechauns are extinct now anyway... Hey, you know about that? Btw, it's called football in this part of the world. And every other part except for the good ol' US of A Man, that was annoying. We were so close to the world cup, and bloody Henry handballed. Our government is pushing for a rematch - I doubt we'll get it. Nah, his employees don't want to have a drink with him - they want to get him really drunk and get him to sign off on a big pay rise for them! Btw, looks like our "charming friend" is back. Apparently we're mean. ♥NiciVampireHeart16:43, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
No, he just pretends to be Irish - like Kofi pretended to be Jamaican. *Rolls eyes* Oh, really? I didn't think it'd be big news in the States. Huh. Yes, it was incrediblely frustating watching it. Stupid, blind referee. Yea, my brother is an American football fan - I just think it's too similar to rugby. Except rugby's more violent. :) Well, I responded to him. I know I shouldn't feed the trolls, but the hypocrisy of the guy is astounding. I left him a warning on his talk page too. No doubt he'll come back in a week or two, with more tales of my meaness. If only I cared! ♥NiciVampireHeart17:17, 20 November 2009 (UTC)

Yea, it's about time he dropped the Jamaican gimmick - it got really stale and boring imo. Wow. There's also an article on it --> France vs Republic of Ireland (2010 FIFA World Cup Play-Off), but it's up for deletion. I've played rugby before - full-contact rugby hurts like hell - especially when you're playing with guys well over 6 ft and built like tanks. :( Yea, don't let him wind you up. That's what he wants. He's just a troll - once he refused to answer my question at Talk:Randy Orton#HHH vs ORton, and instead told me to stop "attacking" people I decided to ignore him. It's your best bet as well, or else you'll lose your temper with him. The thing to do is laugh at the guy, who clearly must be very sheltered if he thinks being told that he's not civil is a personal attack. ♥NiciVampireHeart09:09, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

Absolutely. Clever of you! Nah, just don't respond to him. If he doesn't get any attention he'll go away. Either that or throw a temper tantrum and start vandalising or attacking people, and then he'll get blocked. I don't think he likes me very much. If I gave a damn, I might be insulted. :) Yea, I thought about archiving it as well, but you know he'd just a new section, accusing us of censorship or something. *Rolls eyes* Anyway. what did you think of Survivor Series? ♥NiciVampireHeart12:40, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
Exactly. Either he'll get the hint and feck off or he'll flame out massively and be told to feck off by an admin. :) I thought HBK superkicking HHH was brilliant. It was an excellent way to start off the match. I was disappointed that HBK didn't win though. I was quite suprised at some of the results - Miz's team winning for example, although that made sense when I saw the Raw results. Sheamus number one contender? WTF is that? I guess when HHH likes ya, life is easy. I think we can guess who's going to win that Tables match. I think Shelton Benjamin vs. Christian at TLC should be brilliant. Show-stealer right there. Here's hoping they got longer than 10 minutes to put on a good match. ♥NiciVampireHeart12:51, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
Here's hoping. Personally speaking, I thought it was a shame that HBK didn't turn heel from that superkick. I miss old classic heel HBK from '97 and '98. Remember the original DX? Utterly brilliant. :) Yea, I thought it was a pretty good match - best I could hope for I think considering one of the participants. :P Yea, I know same here. I was completely wrong on the Orton/Kingston match. I figured that Legacy and Kofi would be the last 4 people, and they'd beat Kofi and win the match, or I thought that Ted would turn face to promote his movie, but it doesn't look like it. Not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing actually - I'm not sure I'd like Ted as much as a face. I just hope Sheamus doesn't get squashed or Cena pulls his superman routine - like against Umaga at the Royal Rumble (can't remember if it was '06 or '07) in their last man standing match. Cena had the hell kicked out of him for the entire match and still won, and I thought Umaga came out of it looking really weak. I hope Shelton doesn't win. I like Christian, and find Shelton really, really boring on the mic. If he's wins the title, I hope WWE has the sense to keep the mic as far away from him as possible. Hey, I see Matt Anoa'i is under review. I'll be able to get some of the comments tonight, but I'll probably need you to get the rest. ♥NiciVampireHeart23:04, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
Yes. How strange we were talking about Eddie Fatu, considering recent events. :( That's shocking really - he was 36 for Christ's sake. *Sigh* Anyway, of course I'll look over Rated-RKO's lead. Post me a link, and I'll give my "expert" opinion. :) Hey, since Matt Anoa'i passed, should we nom Rosey and The Hurrican for GT? Just think - it might get promoted in time for Christmas! :P ♥NiciVampireHeart01:28, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
I know. It's such a shame. Another wrestler to add to the list of those who died too young. :( Great. Yea, sure I'll go nom it now. It'd be an excellent Christmas present! :P Hey, hey check this out. It took all my persuasive skills to get the photographer to change the licence but damn it was worth it! Pretty good huh? He was backstage at the wrestling event, and got him to pose. I'm very pleased. It's a marked improvement on the previous one! ♥NiciVampireHeart20:39, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
Yep, it's bloody ridiculous. Anyway, here ya go: Wikipedia:Featured topic candidates/Rosey and The Hurricane/archive1. I couldn't decide on an image, so I'll let ya do that. :) Yes, exactly. He didn't want it to be used anywhere except on wikipedia, and I had to explain to him that it wouldn't be allowed on wikipedia if that was the case. I'm actually in talks with a few other people over a few other images of other wrestlers, so fingers crossed. Most of the indy wrestlers have crap images, so I'm trying to remedy that. ♥NiciVampireHeart20:55, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
Good choice. :) I know, I've had a few people refuse because of that. :( Yep, I jst logged onto Flickr, and I got another one! [2] The rather excellent Davey Richards. :) I must go upload it now actually. He's actually the tag team partner of the hot guy. :P Well, the reason I was able to get so many good ones of Eddie is because he wrestled for New England Championship Wrestling, and the guy who took all those photos goes to their shows a lot. And more importantly, uploads them to Flickr under free licences. :) It's almost impossible to find good photos of wrestlers who wrestle exclusively for ROH and FIP. Like Kenny Layne and Rhett Titus. This is the only image I've found of Titus on Flickr (free or unfree), and you can't even see his face! ♥NiciVampireHeart21:19, 7 December 2009 (UTC)

Yes!!! The article finally passed its GA! Now we are more closer to the GT than before. Only Confessions Tour and The Confessions Tour (album) are left. Will you help me with the former? --Legolas (talk2me) 06:45, 13 October 2009 (UTC)

Thanks girl. And yeahh for "4 Minutes". At present I am developing The Confessions Tour in sandbox3. That will be done in a few moment. Then I will add the Confessions Tour article on this sandbox. (My other two are still full of articles that's taking a lot of time to develop) :( You can start searching for reviews of the tour and add them to the sandbox. GA here I come again!!!!!!!!! --Legolas (talk2me) 09:15, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
OK I'm done with The Confessions Tour album. I have the actual tour in my third sandbox. You can add the critical receptions there. --Legolas (talk2me) 11:11, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
He he not to worry I'm here na! What you can do is find some info regarding the background development of the tour. We can try MTV News for it. I'll re-structure the article. War Tour is only one article on music tours. But I felt that it was too incomplete. Confessions Tour will be a new horizon for music articles if it is promoted to GA, I believe. --Legolas (talk2me) 05:01, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
Actually they are not exactly necessary for the GT, but I would like to make the GT as complete as possible. As I said before Confessions Tour should be a high level for anyone trying to develop tour articles, if it passes GA. --Legolas (talk2me) 03:02, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
Also please help me with the lead. Its gonona be massive! I have completed teh article but with the lead I'm always at a loss!! --Legolas (talk2me) 10:08, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
He he. Don't worry. I'll take a look at the lead somehow. I guess you were quite busy with the GAs of Eric McCormack. Congrats that it passed! --Legolas (talk2me) 04:30, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
Wowww. Another barnstar. Love you!! Thank you my bluesy girl! --Legolas (talk2me) 03:15, 21 October 2009 (UTC)

Admin?

Hello ThinkBlue! You seem to be quite the editor, being on for more than 2 years and haveing over 35,000 edits. (thats over 17X as many that I have) So I was wondering, have you ever thought about being an admin? You would surely pass with your good history. You should think about it. Late response?! It only took you 15 minutes! :) Thanks for the help. If you want to help work on it, that'd be great, but if you are busy, I can work on it, and then have you look it over before I nominate it for GAC. CTJF83 chat 21:23, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

Christian Cage is done

Well not actually done, but the writting is done. I'm left to source about a section and a half of his TNA career then I'm done. Okay, well I guess when I get finished, I'll copyedit it then, you'll check over the stuff I did, and we'll be done with him. I'll copyedit Edge real quick and we'll nominate them both at GAN. I guess you on Edge and me on Cage?--WillC 15:05, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, sorry about the wait. I'be been wanting to finish and post it for weeks now. But two or so weeks ago I started talking to this girl every single day. It led to me asking her out, we hit it off, and ever since I've been hanging with her and talking. That took alot of my expansion time away. When you are only thinking of the one you are starting to love, it is hard to focus on wrestling. Yeah, fine with me. I'm on a roll today, plan to pull out many GANs. I got two PPvs I expanded last year but never officially finished them. Going to copyedit them, get them finished and pull those out as well.--WillC 16:26, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

Okay, I am done with sourcing completely. I'll give you a chance to change anything you wrote before I do the copyedit. Only thing left after that is adding the pictures. How about you add pictures to the sections you wrote, while I'll add pictures to the ones I wrote? I feel the infobox image should be the one used now or the one where he holds the ECW Title; what do you think? Here is a link. After I do the copyedits and we get them up on GAN, you want to start on the tag article?--WillC 07:12, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

Don't worry about being late with the reply, I've been late on finishing Cage. We started on August 25 and I'm still not done yet (will be soon though). Don't worry, I'm sure you will find someone, with your personality. Yeah, I'm talking about Cage. Working on the copyedit now. Okay, well I'll make sure to get the copyedit done soon. I'll help out some on E&C, while I start on Styles.--WillC 09:02, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
Okay, I'm done with both Cage and Edge. I've copyedited them both and they seem ready for GAN. Only problems I see is a few statements need some more sources, but may just be me. When you get online hit me up so we can move the articles. I'll be working on some PPV events and finishing reviews.--WillC 16:48, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

I'll pray you find someone. You are a great person, if I lived near you I'm sure I would ask you out. I search for personality, and you got a great one. Work, school, girl, etc. Okay, do what you want and feel like. I'm working on a PPV so I'll be here when you get done.--WillC 20:50, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, yeah you are. Don't worry about saying thank you, I mean what I say. Okay, good luck with that.--WillC 23:10, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, ya see why it took me so long, and I'm a perfectionists. Yeah, I'll nominate it after you nominate Edge. No, don't worry about it. I say what I mean, and I mean this. You are a great person, and the person you end up with, will be the luckiest son of a bitch that ever lived. P.S. Cage is nominated.--WillC 06:40, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

Alright that seems fine. I have AJ already in a subpage for future reference. It is at User:Wrestlinglover/The Main Event Mafia. People say things about me? Are they good or bad? If they are bad, then good. I love to cause hate *evil laugh*. Okay, nice. What do you think of my newist expansion: Turning Point (2008)?--WillC 04:53, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
Alright. Let me guess, from discussions I'm involved in? Doesn't bother me. To be honest, I don't like people unless they like me, so it is cool. Well I just pulled that one out because I felt like it. Been wanting to finish all of the TNA PPVs, just got focused on other stuff. We could work on an event together? Maybe a series of events? If done right, they can be fun to expand.--WillC 17:08, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

Yeah that sounds fine. I can pull out the main article quickly. We can do this after E&C, Rated RKO, and AJ and Tomko, maybe even after The Brood. Only three articles left to getting it to topic status. My only ideas were working on every 2002 event, making a main article like I've worked on in a subpage regarding 2008 TNA events. Another was all the WrestleMania events to GA or FA.--WillC 18:23, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, maybe. Lets see after we get the ones we got planned done first. Hopefully when we start, TJ won't be coming up after I expand things to the format he likes.--WillC 19:34, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

Yeah I hope. I also hope I get better soon. Woke up with a cold. I've worked on E&C a little, what do you think?--WillC 19:59, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

Thanks, been a bit better now. Alright. Heard about Hogan and TNA?--WillC 22:46, 28 October 2009 (UTC)

Yeah they signed him the other day. I'm 50/50 on the situation. Don't want him to bury people, but he brings publicity. As long as he only fights and defeats old WWE and WCW guys, I'm cool. But loses to AJ, Joe, Daniels, etc I'm cool.--WillC 02:26, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

Must of been released. It is up in the air at the moment. If he doesn't appear on tv in person anytime soon, then probably not. He wants to get back in the ring though. I've been sick this pasted week so I've been on rarely. Probably about 5 minutes a day. Either format can be used. Your decision, you wrote the lead so I'll leave it up to you.--WillC 17:13, 3 November 2009 (UTC)

Maybe, he has a book out and a promotion to run now (Hulkamania). I rather he not get in the ring. Just be an on-screen character or manager. I'm afraid he will bury some of TNA's talent, like AJ. No I'm somewhat better. Just got a small runny nose which is usual for me, since I got allergies. I've been better since Sunday technically, when it dried up. No, it is our project. I'll let you choose on which format, since that was the half you worked on. I want to keep it fair. People think I'm trying to own stuff and run stuff my way already. Which is not the case. So to show this, and make sure you don't start to think like others do, I'll let you choose since you worked on the lead down to his departure from WWE, and I worked on the rest.--WillC 20:01, 3 November 2009 (UTC)

If he must wrestle, I think he should do it really rarely. A match with Nash, Sting, Angle, Joe, Jarrett, and AJ is all he needs to do. A good storyline with Nash about how everyone blames Hogan for the Fingerpoke of Doom when it was really Nash's idea. Set up a PPV match. It will not be a good match I'm sure of that, but would be an interesting one and may draw some buyrates. Two good talkers who can make you want to see the match. A Starrcade rematch between Sting and Hogan would be great. Not a great as in a good bout, but just to see them lock it up again. Hogan vs Angle would be very interesting. Hogan saying he came to TNA to face Angle. Allow Hogan to beat Angle. Then go on to fight Joe, who beats Hogan. Leads to a 4 Way with Joe, Hogan, Angle, and AJ for the Title. Hogan wins by pinning Angle. AJ vs Hogan at the next event, with AJ going over. Finish off with Hogan vs Jarrett, revenge for Jarrett hitting Hogan with a guitar in 2004. Yeah, I'm doing fine. How about yourself? I don't know how anyone could think that about you. I've never seen anyone say anything and I've never seen you act like you own something on here. Hell, you are a sweetheart to everyone on here it seems.--WillC 21:46, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

Would like to be, don't know how to get the job though. Yeah, been fine since last Sunday. Yeah, my dad thought I had it, but I was fine in three days, till I got a head cold. Yeah, same with me. You expanded HBK's article, you should know him and the article better than anyone else. Just trying to keep it accurate and up to date. No problem.--WillC 22:06, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, probably. After all that though, would be better to become a writer for universal or something, instead of a wrestling company. Oh, nice to hear. Same here, it gets annoying. What upsets me though is people who try to make it their way when they don't even work on articles. They just go around changing shit because they disagree with it, when they haven't expanded and article and don't understand the work involved. Yeah, I saw those. I find the kid comment funny. Wikipedia is full of drama, the problem is it is unavoidable.--WillC 21:26, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, but writing about the next feud may be more fun. I'm too the point I say screw policy. People take them too literal and it is actually stopping us from being up to date and factual. I don't know when they will ever learn, but in all likliness it will be never, because some editors who have been around here for years still have yet to learn.--WillC 21:01, 11 November 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, praise is always fun, but if I was writing, all I would want is to know they are enjoying the product. Yeah, we need the guidelines, but I'm saying not to take them too literal. Sometimes it is better to say fuck it. Like with spoiler situations. I say fuck it now adays. What is the problem with waiting afew days? I say just add it now, and get it over with.--WillC 11:03, 13 November 2009 (UTC)

Go ahead. I'll help out. We got it, E&C, and Gangrel to do. I've done all I can with E&C at the moment. Which subpage will you have it in?--WillC 22:36, 13 November 2009 (UTC)

Yeah I don't care. My focus hasn't been on those topics anyway. Just waiting on a review will take 2 months. Really no need to rush. At the moment I'll help out anyway I can to get closer to the topic goals with my good friend ThinkBlue :), even though my focus is on finishing numerous PPVs: User:Wrestlinglover/Destination X (2005), User:Wrestlinglover/Genesis (2007), User:Wrestlinglover/Turning Point (2007), User:Wrestlinglover/Final Resolution (2008), User:Wrestlinglover/Against All Odds (2008), User:Wrestlinglover/Destination X (2008), User:Wrestlinglover/Victory Road (2008), User:Wrestlinglover/Bound for Glory IV, User:Wrestlinglover/Final Resolution (December 2008), and User:Wrestlinglover/Genesis (2009). Check this out, it is a great song.--WillC 21:00, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

Surprisingly I forgot I had articles on GAN because of the time. Okay, whever you start I'll be here ready to help. Good luck with that. We have alot of PPVs and only few editors willing to work on some. I bet when you put your mind to it, you will break the habit easily.--WillC 01:56, 15 November 2009 (UTC)

So where do we go from here? We seem to have hit a wall. We got Cage and Edge at GAN. Now we only have to get Gangrel, Rated RKO, and E&C done (maybe even The Brood).--WillC 00:10, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, that sounds fine. As long as we are continuing is all that matters. I'll do a small pre-copy edit to both articles. Take your time with you exams. Take your time with everything. I just wasn't sure since I hadn't heard back from you.--WillC 00:45, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, because I am so damn handsome and charming. I'm the white-trash James Bond. I'll help out as soon as you start. For now, I'll be working on stuff in my subpages.--WillC 02:18, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
Thanks! *wink* You know, HBK is pretty good looking, but I don't see what the big deal is though. I look at the male form, and I just don't see beauty. I look at the female form, and I can understand beauty exists there. The male form just doesn't seem like there is any beauty in it to me. I may be the only one man that sees this, since I've had a gay dude hit on me a few times so they must see something (as well as females). I've seen all the pictures of the male and female forms, and the female form looks like God just took a bit longer in creation process than with the male form. Likewise, happy Thanksgiving though. Okay, take your time. I'm expanding a few things in my subpages so no rush. Back in the PPV game with Turning Point (2008) and FLC run with List of WCW World Television Champions with many more to come. Plus a few bios.--WillC 09:29, 26 November 2009 (UTC)

I just don't see that thing in males. Probably alot of guys are like that, must be the reason some get so nervous talking to women because they don't see it in themseleves. Happy late Thanksgiving to you too, and an early Merry Christmas! It was decent. Hey, don't worry about it. Take your time. I'll be reviewing a few articles (The Fame Ball Tour and LoveGame) along with working on a few in my subpages (Destination X (2005), Genesis (2007), Turning Point (2007), Final Resolution (January 2008), Against All Odds (2008), and Destination X (2008)), so take your time. You sit back and take a rest girl, you deserve it.--WillC 01:39, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

Likewise! Cool, I'll help out some. Do a few copyedits of it or something. Maybe, I feel I don't work enough on stuff in my life. The stuff I need to do in real life, and some stuff I want to do online. Don't really do either.--WillC 16:53, 30 November 2009 (UTC)

No problem. Trust me, you do more than I.--WillC 17:36, 30 November 2009 (UTC) Perhaps, so what other projects would you like to do after we are done here? I'm making a list of topics that are doable.--WillC 18:07, 30 November 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I'll start shortly. Sure we can do that! How about we get E&C done first? It will give me a chance to see and find out if the team is notable enough for an article considering their history is split between The Angle Alliance and Christian's Coalition.--WillC 20:04, 30 November 2009 (UTC)

Alright, will be by the end of today. Okay, take your time.--WillC 22:12, 30 November 2009 (UTC)

Okay, done. The only problems I see is alot of WWE refs and some statements not sourced. I feel third party should be used alot more in this case, since we are talking about WWE here. A global promotion covered hugely by alot of sites. Plus doesn't seem like there is alot of info, but I've never worked on a tag team article so I'm not one to say what is and what isn't.--WillC 06:07, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

Edward Norton

I was a little miffed about this article today. After the editor added the content to the article, I spent about an hour hunting down sources to actually verify what was in it, formatted the citations and cleaned it up. I removed the content about him putting up a website, since the website didn't particularly say that, and removed the rather extraneous content about Twitter. When I finished, this is what the paragraph looked like, cites showing:

Norton is president of the American branch of the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust. To raise money for the trust, Norton fielded a team of 30 runners in the New York City Marathon on November 1, 2009. The team included Alanis Morissette and David Blaine. Norton finished the event first among celebrities with a time of 3 hours, 48 minutes. Norton and his team's goal was to raise $1 million for the trust.

The editor posted a snarky comment on my talk page, including asking me why I didn't add it before, and a nicer version on the article talk page, chastizing me for "simply revert"ing his edit. When I came in and saw that, I posted a response to him in both places and then saw that you had made some changes. So, miffed is slightly passed. Please look at the sources I added and consider them. Also, in passing, the article says he did script work on Frida and The Score but the lead now says he wrote Frida and The Incredible Hulk. Thanks. Wildhartlivie (talk) 21:29, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

Oh, geez, no. I was mostly venting my frustration at what happened before you stepped in. You did the same thing I did, only you didn't get the snarky note like I did!! If you don't mind, I will put the sourcing, etc., that I found. I'm pretty sure the massaimarathon.com website doesn't actually support the amount of money raised, etc., which is why I hunted better sourcing. Sheesh, I wasn't yelling at you!!!
On a completely unrelated note, I'm finishing some minor clean up and adding some more sourcing to Kate Winslet, which has been sitting at near-GA for quite a long time. I had suggested it wait until after the awards last winter, then sort of didn't go back to it. If you happen to notice anything glaring wrong with it, would you please let me know? There is a bit in the personal life section and in the awards section at the bottom that still needs sourcing, but otherwise, I think it's quite close to being ready. Sorry if I didn't make it clear I was just taking an opportunity to vent! Wildhartlivie (talk) 21:54, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
I trust you to "get it" if you notice something. Like I said, there are some minor style clean up issues I still have to do, which mainly revolve around incorporating the small amount of the "Music" section content that is relevant to the chronological flow of the article (shouldn't take much doing) and finishing up the citations. I never know how to treat the awards links in the filmography, can they stay linked as they are or should the successive links be removed? Otherwise, I'm hoping I'm nearly done. Thanks! Wildhartlivie (talk) 20:19, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
Thanks! That is simple to fix. It's more a tribute to hard work last winter and sitting on it to prevent it being corrupted in the meanwhile. I don't pretend to take all the credit for it, but I did do a lot of work on it and the Ledger article back then. I personally prefer the awards linked myself, I just wasn't sure what the view on it was. Rossrs (whom I love and adore as my very bestest Wiki-friend halfway around the world) had suggested the music section be incorporated into the chronology, but I was ambivalent about it. If you think not, then I'll leave as it is. That only leaves a paragraph and a statement in the personal life section.
As for Heath, in fact, I do plan to work on it more. It has become very stable now, so I think it is time. I copied it to my userspace to give me a bit more freedom to clean it up somewhat, section by section, and then move the finished section over. There are some things I think need trimmed in it before it is nominated. I think the death section needs to be somewhat trimmed and streamlined since some time has passed and with it, some issues have moved to the background and are no longer in such great need of extreme detail. The "controversy" over the will not being updated probably needs to be trimmed down to just a mention of Matilda not being mentioned and the family considering her after all. To me, it wasn't so much a "controversy" as it was simply not planning to die so soon and it resolved amicably. I started to condense the references so it isn't referenced to the point of pain and in some cases, that could be accomplished by using a few references in multiple places instead of belaboring it. Mostly, I thought I'd brush up my skills with the Winslet article first, just to get back in the groove and ensure I think in the British spelling mode. The work page is at User:Wildhartlivie/Work page and I'd be happy if you wanted to work on it with me. Wildhartlivie (talk) 20:50, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
I went down with a migraine last night and didn't feel like working on the Winslet article. How funny. Today, when I saw you had updated links in the Ledger article, I thought "sheesh, gotta finish Kate". When I added the content to the Winslet article about the latest libel suit and saved it, I had your message. I'll brush up the music section a bit when I finish the other sourcing. In the Ledger article, one of the dead links is for a story about his alleged other child, which is one of the things I think could be greatly trimmed, maybe to just saying "he supposedly did, but he doesn't", if any mention at all. One of those other things that aren't so important now. The other is one of far too many external links and can come out now. I'm not at all adverse to your starting to trim back some of things we've mentioned whenever you want. Now that I'm working on Winslet again, it will be done today. Wildhartlivie (talk) 18:49, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
I guess I thought I should explain why I disappeared. I seem to have migraines about once a month, but I'm not sure what precipitates them. Today I have the dreaded "migraine hangover", so I'm making silly mistakes. I'm not sure that the lead will need that much work, I think it might a "right proper" stand alone article, maybe. Any thoughts you have are more than welcome. Let's trim anything that belabors points and make it good prose with solid references. My talk page is always open. For that matter, I have email enabled if it seems a delicate question. Wildhartlivie (talk) 20:34, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

WWE DVDS and books articles

Hey Thinkblue I had a question about something WWE related and thought you would be the one to ask. Is there any way we could create seperate articles for more WWE DVDS and books, EX: Tombstone: History of the Undertaker. I mean I can see where people would think theyre not notable, but I think they are because they are tchnically movies, and movies have articles here on Wikipedia too. I'm not going to create anything btw, unless you say so, but I just want your opinion on this. Thanks. Tech43 (talk) 23:21, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

Brad and Kate

I considered removing that addition to the Brad Pitt article but wasn't sure. In other matters, I nominated Kate last night. Wildhartlivie (talk) 17:17, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

Argh. I missed your post when I checked back to see what someone else had said. I'll put the [US]$ in the Winslet article. I'm certain, given the copious waiting list at GAN, that I have time. Part of the working through the Ledger article on the refs had to do with cleaning them up from things like the nytimes.com thing. I'd only gotten through to finishing the "1990s" part of the career section. This ref clean up and reduction is going to take some work. It didn't help, though, that I was editing a bit on the prose as I worked. I suppose what we're really talking about is a semi-major rewrite for parts of it, but you know, when it is all said and done, maybe an FA instead of a GA if we're both working on it? By the by, I'm feeling better today. A friend brought me a plate of cookies and a fountain Coke at lunch time while she was on her way to work! I NEVER have either of those things so I'm on a sugar high. Wildhartlivie (talk) 17:29, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
Let's see. One answer at a time. Why don't we just (tacitly at least) consider we're working on a featured article as the end-goal since the article is going to have a big overhaul. Why don't we work on the sandbox and then we can transfer it over section by section when we both agree it is ready? The up side of that is that it will deter the errant bypasser who thinks he or she is "helping" when it is far from "help"? Read that "keep the vandals at bay". What do you think? Wildhartlivie (talk) 18:31, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
You are not annoying me. Actually, today is the first in long time where the orange strip of death didn't reveal "why did you revert my crap edit?" or "do you think you own this article?" types of posts. The first was a big thanks from someone I'd never posted with before and the second was from you. If need be, we could add a sub-sub-page for the Ledger work page so we don't cloud up our talk pages, but not unless that seems needed. I'm happy to have someone I trust to work with on one of these projects. I tried to get Rossrs involved in trying to save the Anne Hathaway (actress) GA, but he went on vacation. Funny why that was more important...? He has several FAs in his resume so I always trust him. It would be nice to have another co-conspirator, as it were, on projects. For the moment, I'm going to nap and then come back, fresh to work, since the cookie & Coke monster awakened me from too little sleep. Cheers and all that stuff. Wildhartlivie (talk) 19:01, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
Apologies in advance on any and all typos I make. One of the main health issues I have is a vision disability. I'm going to post a variation of this question at WT:ACTOR but I wanted to ask you. Do you happen to find that sudden flux of additions to articles of a navbox for MTV Movie Awards at all annoying? [3] Don't we have enough meritorious awards to contend with to have to check/render opinion on awards that are open to multiple voting and excessive fan bias? Wildhartlivie (talk) 19:07, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
Hm, duh. I NEVER think of those subpage talk pages. Of course we can use it. And I don't trust just everyone, though there are some I do. I'd like to reboot Anne Hathaway. I was so proud of the Scarlett Johannson rescue I did, but I was worn out from it when the Hathaway thing came up. I have one FA, one FL, one GA and a GA rescue which took a lot of effort so I claimed it. I have brought the navbox thing up at WT:ACTOR. We aren't that well organized, but we're making strides. Okay, 2:30 is my nap deadline. I'm off. Wildhartlivie (talk) 19:20, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter

Delivered: 22:09, 6 December 2009 (UTC) by MiszaBot (talk)

"Create a new thread"? Nah...

...oh, wait. :P The old one was pretty long, huh? Exactly. I'm very pleased now. :) I'll readily admit to being a massive Davey Richards mark. He's amazing. Seriously. Yea, it really bugs me. :( Actually, I'll tell ya what image I found yesterday when I was searching Flickr: this 'un. It's amazing! :P Bryan Danielson really looked like a lunatic in 04. :P I haven't decided whether or not to ask for the uploader to release it, but I'm really tempted to. It'd be a pretty awesome addition to his article, doncha think? ♥NiciVampireHeart21:34, 7 December 2009 (UTC)

Ah, should have realised. His wrestling skills are outta this world. There's a reason he's known as the best wrestler in the world. Seriously awesome. Couldn't expect less really, since he was trained by HBK. :) Actually, I read a funny story regarding that beard a few months ago. Apparently he really loved it, but his sister made him shave it off for her wedding, 'cause she didn't want him looking like a hobo in the wedding photos. :P I just think it's brilliant. I will ask. It'd be an entertaining image to have in the article.
Alrighty, the lead. 1) "The team consisted of Edge, Randy Orton, and Lita (valet)." - it's a short sentence, so you should say "The team consisted of Edge, Randy Orton, and Lita, their valet." No point in using parentheses if they're not needed. 2) "Orton's initials/finishing maneuver" - link finishing maneuver to List of professional wrestling terms#F. 3) "to defeat the team of Triple H and Shawn Michaels" - this is just me being pedantic, but wasn't it moreso that they felt that DX was holding them down and stopping them from being main eventers/world champions? The sentence just seems weird to me. Perhaps reword the entire sentence to something like "Edge and Orton formed an alliance in October 2006 to challenge the team of Triple H and Shawn Michaels, collectively known as D-Generation X (DX), who Rated-RKO felt were preventing them from becoming world champions."? Of course, if I'm remembering wrong, just ignore me. 4) "giving the team" - which team? I know you mean DX, but it's slightly confusing. I think you should actually say DX here. 5) "The following month, Edge and Orton became World Tag Team Champions. In the same month, Lita left the group after her legitimate retirement." - combine into one: "The following month, Edge and Orton became World Tag Team Champions, and Lita left the group after her legitimate retirement." 6) "would further cause tension" - there's been no previous mention of tension between them in the lead, so the "further" should be removed. Apart from that, it looks good. ;) ♥NiciVampireHeart22:05, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
Sorry for the delay - but I had to stay late at school every day this week and go in yesterday. :( I'm almost looking forward to my exams starting on Tuesday at this point. *Sigh* Anyways, I knew you were going to say that! :P Oh really? Hmmm, I wonder what matches will be on it. The ladder match at WM X definetly, probably the first HiaC too. Sounds good, I might get it. So, the lead. Only one thing I can see "giving the latter's first loss" - should be "giving the latter their first loss". Apart from that it looks good. Btw, thanks for doing the book for Rosey and The Hurricane. ♥NiciVampireHeart12:47, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
Well, 5 exams down, 2 to go. :( Day off today though. :) It's all good. Yep, about HBK. I knew it as soon as I typed it. Ah, the Iron Man match. What a classic. My brother has the WrestleMania Boxset - which is all WrestleMania's up until either last year or the year before, I can't remember. That match was just brilliant. Somehow I doubt Montreal will be on it though. Looks good. The GTC seems to be going alright. Not a lot of activity, but then there never is. I wouldn't say happy, so much as bloody confused. We sure called that one wrong! I didn't watch the ppv, but my brother did, and he told me on Monday who won. I laughed at him, went "oh really funny" and went to school. I checked the results at lunchtime, and whaddya know? He actually did win. Bloody insane. I'm still in shock over it. ♥NiciVampireHeart13:15, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
Well, I'm more tired now 'cause it's 5:30 am, and I stayed up to watch Final Battle 2009, but OH MY GOD it was fucking worth it. Did you watch it? If you didn't, you really bloody well should have. The last three matches were fucking insane. American Wolves vs. Briscoes was excellent, even if I was annoyed that Eddie and Davey lost their tag team championship, then Jack Evans vs Teddy Hart was psycho, and then a 60-minute draw between A-double and Tyler Black. Sensational. Seriously. Plus the return of Larry Sweeney and the Kings of Wrestling! It doesn't get any better. Anyway, well, we did get some praise for this GTC. I think it's 'cause we took a little longer with this one - normally, we churn them out one after the other after the other, but there's been a bigger gap this time. Yea, it's weird. I reckon Sheamus will drop the title at RR, and if not at RR then at Elimination Chamber. No way in hell he's still gonna be champion come 'Mania. Who d'you think is gonna win the Rumble this year? My money's on JoMo, Kingston, Miz or Swagger. ♥NiciVampireHeart05:41, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
Nah, I'm fine now. Ugh, American football. :P Yea, the ppv was excellent, except for the sound difficulties. But then again, $15 for a 4 and a half hour ppv? Well worth it. Exactly. I'm not sure he will, but it's possible I guess. I'd like to see him back though, especially if he goes back to the E&C era Edge. He was so much better then. The whole crazy Edge from the storyline with Vickie I did not like. I'd like Ted or Cody to win it. :) Hmmm, the thing is it was so obvious last year that Randy was gonna win - it's much more open this year. ♥NiciVampireHeart21:29, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
'K, two things. 1) Early Christmas present! and 2) is there any chance you can read over and copyedit Final Battle 2009 for me? I'm what you might call awful at ppv articles, but since no-one else had created it, I went a little crazy. Well, better that than studying chemistry! Hope the exams are going well for you btw. :) ♥NiciVampireHeart21:54, 21 December 2009 (UTC)

<--Well, since you pimped HBK's DVD, I'll just give you this link and let you decide whether or not you want to spend $15. :) Hmmm, I would like to see Edge back - I'd rather see him in the main events than Boretista. Well kinda - Randy was the obvious choice to win last year, so I figured they'd swerve everybody and somebody else would win. It'd be more likely to be Ted than Cody I think - WWE officials think he's a better wrestler apparently. Chemistry and Maths, no, but I've very, very good at Biology and English. Jesus, it must have been bad! Yea, I'm on break now as well, for a whole 2 weeks! YAY! Anyway, thanks so much for the copyedit. Most of your suggestions were right, so I changed them, but abput the italics thing - only FB 2009 was a ppv, the rest were just regular shows, which is why I italicised them. Yea, I had a problem with "cutting a promo" as well, 'cause it is jargon, but I didn't know how else to phrase it. See "commented" doesn't really work, 'cause they literally went "I love New York. Sorry, we're late, and we're going to beat the hell out of each other to make up for it". Thank you. I really don't like writing ppv articles, so I'm glad to get it out of the way. :) ♥NiciVampireHeart13:21, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

You're welcome. :) Oh, that'd be horrible. Batista in the main event at 'Mania? No, no, no, no. Yea, with Sheamus winning, it's now opne to anyone who's not a Diva or a cruiserweight. Sorry, Evan Bourne. Sounds like fun. Oh yea, I plan on spending the next 2 weeks just relaxin' and chillin'. Exactly. Anyway, if you're up for it, will we start work on our Spirit Squad GT? I think that's the next one we said. By the way, I hope you had a good Christmas. :) ♥NiciVampireHeart22:44, 26 December 2009 (UTC)
Oh, I know. It's ridiculous, and it makes them look stupid. They clearly have no idea of what "fat" looks like. I think Mickie James is gorgeous personally. Excellent, excellent. hey, I'm good to go whenever you are. Shalle we divide up the articles, or we will both just work on them one at time. Or did we decide already? I did have a good Christmas, thanks. A very good Christmas. And I'm looking forward to the New Year's party. :) ♥NiciVampireHeart14:09, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
Hey remember the crazy Bryan Danielson pic we were talking about? (hint, scroll up) I got it! Very pleased now. :) So we did. Hey, I was right. I said we'd probably forget if we divided them up and we would have. Anyway, 6 articles, so that makes 3 each. Out of Spirit Squad, Nick Nemeth, Nick Mitchell, Johnny Jeter, Kenny Dykstra, and Michael Brendli, which 3 d'you want? I'm not bothered either way. I probably did! Yea, I'm won't remember too much of tomorrow night - guaranteed. :) ♥NiciVampireHeart20:21, 30 December 2009 (UTC)
I know. :) It's such a crazy pic I smile every time I see it. :) Alright, so I got Nemeth, Jeter and Brendli. I can do that. If I don't go mad at Nemeth's article. An ip keeps insisting that the Zig Zag move is the Russian legsweep because an unreliable source says it is, which contrasts the reliable source in the article. It's starting to piss me off now, but there's not much I can do, except revert, 'cause it's not vandalism, so I can't get the page protected. *rolls eyes* Yea, we'll both be online the next day, going "I wonder what I did last night!" Hmmm, yea, I saw. Clearly the person doesn't understand what alt text is - you don't just go "Ted DiBiase", you say "a dark-haired young man" or whatever. It's for people whose computers won't show images, or people who are blind. Saying "Ted DiBiase" won't help them much. I'll revert now. ♥NiciVampireHeart20:42, 30 December 2009 (UTC)
Not a problem. :) That would be helpful - I start to feel like I'm edit warring over it, and that's bad. Probably, at least we'll be able to look back and go "oh right, we said we were doing x, y and z". Nonsense, it doesn't make you a bad person! By the way, you were right with this edit, but for the wrong reason. The ref provided is for the 2008 list - it's one that's in the article already. I reverted it back for you. ♥NiciVampireHeart21:22, 30 December 2009 (UTC)
I appreciate it. :) Well, technically it's not a reliable source. :| it's only being used in the article because it's just an exact copy of the 2008 PWI listing, so it's not that bad. I've been looking for another, reliable source to replace it, but no dice. I can't find a reliable surcce for the 2009 listing either. Yea, it's crazt. Everybody uses "going back" now. I've seen a bunch of the WP:PW members use it. It's like a clique thing now. :) I would like that. I think Nick Nemeth should be ok, although if you can improve it, go for it. ♥NiciVampireHeart21:38, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

<--Absolutely. It's annoying that PWI doesn't have a website or something to publish them on - it would be seriously helpful. It's a very useful phrase. :) Yea, I'll probably start with Nemeth I think. It's in the best condition, so it'll be easy enough to get to GA standard. ♥NiciVampireHeart14:22, 1 January 2010 (UTC)

Exactly. Well, it has a website, pwi-online.com, but they don't publish the PWI 500 lists on it, which is ever so slightly annoying.</sarcasm> Yea, I've been telling myself for the last few day, I'll work on Nemeth tomorrow, and then just going, "nah, I'll do it later". :) I did have a very good new year. I'm assuming you did too, as you apparently needed quite a few days to recover before coming online! :P ♥NiciVampireHeart02:42, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
PS: Any chance of a copyedit on Nick Nemeth? ♥NiciVampireHeart13:15, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
I know. Well, I had nothing better to do. I'm snowed in. :) So it was either go freeze my ass off or do some work on Nemeth. Guess which I picked? :P Yes, mine was excellent. :) Or at least what I remember of it was excellent. :) Brilliant, I'll go nom Nemeth now, and I'll copyedit SS.
The lead: 1) "and WWE's developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW)." --> "and in WWE's developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW)." 2) "only member to appear in WWE television, Nicky and Mikey returning to OVW, where they formed a partnership, Johnny also returned to OVW, and Mitch was released from his WWE contract in May 2007." --> "only member to appear on WWE television. Nicky, Mikey and Johnny returned to OVW, where Mikey and Nicky formed a tag team, and Mitch was released from his WWE contract in May 2007." That last sentence was way too long. :) Apart from that, it looks good. Nice job. ♥NiciVampireHeart05:14, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
Copyedit done. :) ♥NiciVampireHeart05:36, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
Well, we've had snow for a week, and we're supposed to have it for another week. :) Most schools and colleges were supposed to start back this week, and they've all been cancelled, which is quite excellent. :) Yea, the nights you can't remember are the best - haven't you ever seen The Hangover? Looks excellent, and you're welcome. :) ♥NiciVampireHeart09:15, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
I know. :) True, true, but it's never happened to me and hpefully it never will. It is a quite excellent movie. You're welcome once again. :) Oh, good. Byw, can you start the lead for Johnny Jeter for me? I should have it finished sometime today or tomorrow I think - I'm trying to find info on what he's doing now. The last info I have on him in March 2008, and then he disappears. ♥NiciVampireHeart07:47, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
I gave my two cents. Doubt it'll make much of a difference though. *rolls eyes* Anyway, thank you for the lead, it looks great - just one little quibble - "He began working with Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), which led to signing with the WWE." should be "He began working for Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), which led to him signing with WWE." I overestimated myself though. :D I'm not ready for the lead, so I apologise for that. I have to finish off the "return to developemtental" section, and then I'm pretty much done. No, seriously, I can find nothing on him for the past year and a half. I wonder if he's even still wrestling.
Btw, while I'm on the lead page, the lead for Mitch 1) "Despite not winning, he was signed to a developmental contract with the WWE" --> "Despite not winning, he signed a developmental contract with WWE" and 2) "had his first fight in January 2008, in which resulted in him winning" --> "had his first fight in January 2008, which he won". 3) For those who know nothing about MMA, you might want to specify what "6-2-0" - I'm assuming it's his win record, but which is wins and which is losses? ♥NiciVampireHeart09:50, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
I know - it drives me insane. I have the same problem on Cody Rhodes, with his "Cross Rhodes" move. People refuse to pay attention to the sources, because it's not like wrestling journalists know anything abut wrestling? </sarcasm> I will, thanks. Maybe. I thinks it's more likely that he just got dispirited (no pun intended) after being released by WWE, and quit wrestling. As far as I know, Mitch is just competing for random MMA promotions, not UFC. I'd love to help ya out, but I know next to nothing about MMA. I got Brock Lesnar to GA in 2008, but I haven't edited it in months because all edits are focusing on his MMA career now, and I don't know if they're right or wrong. :( Hmmm, that site says Mitchell was competing in MMA in 2001? I didn't know that. And he's only had one fight after leaving WWE. Interesting. ♥NiciVampireHeart11:57, 16 January 2010 (UTC)

<--You must be doing something right - wrong vandalism warnings, IPs vandalising your talk page. Oh my god, they haven't started that up again have they? What articles? I'll keep an eye out wheneber I'm online. I've actually heard the term "fan favorite" used in commentary by Matt Striker. He used it on a SamckDown a couple of weeks ago. Maybe. All I know is we go with the source says. There is no source to say Rhodes' move is a spinning cutter, which is what everyone tries to change it to. Similarly, the only source to say the Zig Zag is a legsweep is unreliable. Hmmm, maybe. I don't know what I'm going to do about Johnny actually. How am I going to put in the article that he disappeared after 2008 and I can't find any info on him? ♥NiciVampireHeart09:16, 17 January 2010 (UTC)

You're welcome. :) I wouldn't worry about it, they'll all grow up and feck off sooner or later. I'll keep an eye out, though, as you can probably tell, I'm fairly swaped in real life atm. :( Yea, it's strange, but I think it's just 'cause WWE commentators check wikipedia. Or Cole does anyway - half the stuff he says is taken from our articles. Like his comments about Kelly Kelly wanting to be a tv presenter - I added that to her article when I read it in an interview. It's seriously entertaining actually. :) Most of the people making the change are egotistical, and their arguments are all variations of "I'm right, and they're wrong", which is obviously not good enough. Maybe. I nominated btw, I think I forgot to tell you that, so I'll have to wait and see what comes up in the review. Good luck with the Rated-RKO GT nom btw. ♥NiciVampireHeart14:43, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
Of course, it's not a problem. I enjoy playing whack-a-mole with vandals. :) I know, it's scary isn't? Cole isn't cool. *spits apple like Carlito* I know, it's insane. Blood can really add to a feud if done properly. Obviously, promotions like CZW go overboard, but it can really be effective. Removing it just hurts the product in my opinion. Yea, it's almost as irritating as the idiots who keep adding stuff without a source. *rolls eyes* Really gets on my nerves. Thank you, and if you need me for the SS review just holler. :) Yea, we did didn't we? Ages ago. Kinds glad I didn't have to work on Edge though - I had it on my watchlist a while back, but I had to take it off because it was driving me crazy with all the edits and the "oh, he's injured, therefore he's face" bullshit that kept being added. Glad to see you cleaned it up though, he deserves a better article than the one he had. ♥NiciVampireHeart22:14, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
I'm seriously pressed for time, but I should be able to get to it tomorrow (Thursday) evening. (This is just a quick response, I'll respons in greater detail tomorrow.) Hope this is ok. ♥NiciVampireHeart23:58, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
Alrighty, copyedit done. The lead: 1)"he wrestled on its Raw and SmackDown brands under the ring name Kenny Dykstra." --> "he wrestled on its Raw and SmackDown brands under the ring names Kenny and Kenny Dykstra." 2) "(OVW), after WWE contacted Doane." --> "(OVW), per WWE resquest." 3) "only member to remain in WWE television" --> "only member to remain on WWE television" 4) "In June 2007, he was drafted to the SmackDown! brand, but was released from his WWE contract in November 2008" 5) "The following year, Doane began working for the Dragon Gate USA wrestling promotion. Later that year, it was confirmed Doane would join the opened promotion Evolve." --> "He later began working on the independent circuit, wrestling for promotions including Dragon Gate USA and Evolve." Apart from that it looks good. Nice job on the article, by the way.
Oh, I can't Cole - he drives me insane. And Lawler isn't any better - he doesn't do PG very well, and he was much better as a heel commentator. Well, we were right. :) It's the same thing with other articles, you know people like Bret Hart and Ric Flair should be GA at least, but so much effort and time would be required to get them anywhere near that standard that nobody has decided to do it. Oh good. Semi should stop most of the idiots vandals. I;m dreading The Undertaker's semi expiring tomorrow. It wasn't vandalism that was the problem, it was an idiot who didn't understand English or grammar, and was reverting the article to his preferred version, complete with "Shawn Michaels was accidentally hit The Undertaker", instead of "Shawn Michaels accidentally hit The Undertaker" and "Undertaker has became embroiling". It was seriously frustrating, and it only just semied for a month. :( Hopefully the ip has gotten bored by now though. :) Sorry for the delay, by the way, I have a project due that's taking up all of my time. ♥NiciVampireHeart05:05, 29 January 2010 (UTC)

Pitt again!

Hey Blue, when you get chance, I've just got a couple of little points that could do with addressing in the first para of this section:

  • DVD release for Fight Club needs a date (I've left a hidden comment in there to that effect)
  • Last sentence of the para mention box office performance. I think there's an existing ref for this but I think I might have inadvertently left it behind when I was chopping and changing bits of the sentence (sorry!)
  • You've got a very wordy quote in there about Fight Club that could do with shortening or paraphrasing if possible

I've also had a look through the FAC and taken a few pointers in what needs improvement from there. I reckon I can help you on some of these (like redundant wording, repetition etc), as well as the general copyediting for the prose etc. It might take a while, but I reckon it'll be perfectly doable. Anything you want to query so far, just drop me a line. All the best, HJMitchell You rang? 05:37, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Admin Coaching

Hi, I was doing a bit of tidying up at Wikipedia:Admin coaching/Requests for Coaching, and I saw that your status was "Match Pending".

Was coaching ever sorted out? If so, could you please ask your coach to add you to the list at Wikipedia:Admin coaching/Status and remove your entry at the Requests page?

If it fell through, and you are still interested in being coached, could you remove the "Match pending" from the list?

If, on the other hand, you are no longer interested in being coached, perhaps you would consider removing your request from the list?

WikiProject Saw September 2009 Newsletter

The WikiProject Saw Newsletter
Issue V - September 2009
Member news
  • The project has currently 31 members, a mere 2 member growth over last year :( encourage new members!
From the Members

Welcome to the fifth issue of the WikiProject Saw's newsletter! Use this newsletter as a mechanism to inform yourselves about progress at the project and please be inspired to take more active roles in what we do.

It happens once a year... the Friday before Halloween... yes, the sixth Saw is less than a month away from release. Seeing as there is already a director and writers attached (See Here), VI will most likely not be the final entry to the series. Saw VI will be released in theaters on October 23rd.

Also, a Saw first, a video game is coming to join the Saw family. Not based on any movie in particular, the game has an original story set between the first and second Saw films. The game will release alongside Saw VI in October.

We would encourage all members to get more involved and if you are wondering what with, please ask either user CyberGhostface or user GroundZ3R0 002, they are more than happy to direct your help into any part of Saw that needs it.

Article News
  • The Saw (video game) article has reached a 'C' class on the quality scale for all Wikiprojects that has it in their scope. A new high for upcoming Saw products and upcoming video games in general.
  • Saw VI has received an official plot synopsis which has been incorporated in the article.
  • The amount of articles in the scope Wikiproject Saw has greatly increased from roughly 23 (active) articles to 40, almost double in one year!
Pages Needing Cleanup
  • Seeing as how we lost List of traps in the Saw film series, we must form together to prevent the other articles getting the same treatment.
  • All real-life actors or directors associated with Saw (James Wan, Tim Palen, Tobin Bell) could use an overhaul to avoid "in-universe" writing perspectives.
  • Saw VI could always use formatting updates and touch-ups to grammar, punctuation, etc.
Monthly Collaboration
  • Not a big surprise, we need to focus on getting the Saw VI article up to par with the rest of the articles. Obviously because it has not been released, it won't be possible to make it as good as the other film articles, but it could still be improved. Try to make its article in the same format (Plot, Cast, Production, Promotion, etc.) as the other films for a start.
Newsletter Challenge
  • Update all Saw articles to include updated information referencing other Saw articles. For example, update the Saw (2004 film) article section on the Saw game for updated release and info.
  • Create an "Impact In Popular Culture" section on Saw articles, seeing as how it is the highest grossing horror franchise in history (before and after inflation).
  • As noted above, the Saw Wikiproject has only grown by two members in an entire calendar year. So, invite new members, show them the ways, and let them know how they can help.
  • The Saw Wikiproject has encountered a drought as far as updates and new information goes. Keep adding new Saw articles as they go along, give new information, and keep the page going in general.

Saw

Hello there, I noticed you are a member of the Saw task force, and therefore have foreknowledge of the Saw series, making you an editor with qualifications to review an article under the scope of Saw. I hope am I not bothering your editing, but I would like to bring to your attention that List of Saw media is currently being reviewed for a possible featured list status, but there is currently a major backlog in the amount of articles waiting to be reviewed. I would like to encourage you to participate in the discussion, found here, if you are interested. If you believe I am disrupting your editing or that my message was an attempt to sway your opinions per WP:Canvas, please let me know so I may fix my methods of bringing this conversation to editors attention, I am simply trying to prevent a backlog on the WP:FLC page. Happy edits, GroundZ3R0 002 (talk) 05:41, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

Oh yeah! By the way I forgot to tell you, I was in NYC the last month and watched Gaga's The Monster Ball Tour in Boston. Awesome! Now back to India. And yeah, 2010 should bring us more Madonna collaborations! Let's start with the "Ray of Light" era. You and me, in ecstacy! :P --Legolas (talk2me) 03:29, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
I think you and me very well know what's a discostick! ;) :P Well we can start by adding critical reception for the songs, I mean for the topic there are 5 songs, 1 album, 1 video single and 1 tour. So eight friggin things to develop!!! Well Ray of Light the album is already GA so 1 down now. And oh yeah HAPPY NEW YEAR. --Legolas (talk2me) 03:22, 1 January 2010 (UTC)

The 2010 WikiCup begins tomorrow!

Welcome to the biggest WikiCup Wikipedia has yet seen! Round one will take place over two months, and finish on February 26. There is only one pool, and the top 64 will progress. The competition will be tough, as more than half of the current competitors will not make it to round 2. Details about scoring have been finalized and are explained at Wikipedia:WikiCup/Scoring. Please make sure you're familiar with the scoring rules, because any submissions made that violate these rules will be removed. Like always, the judges can be reached through the WikiCup talk pages, on their talk page, or over IRC with any issues concerning anything tied to the Cup. We will keep in contact with you via weekly newsletters; if you do not want to receive them, please remove yourself from the list here. Conversely, if a non-WikiCup participant wishes to receive the newsletters, they may add themselves to that list. Well, enough talk- get writing! Your submission's page is located here. Details on how to submit your content is located here, so be sure to check that out! Once content has been recognized, it can be added to your submissions page, from which our bot will update the main score table. Remember that only articles worked on and nominated during the competition are eligible for points. Have fun, and good luck! Garden, iMatthew, J Milburn, and The ed17 19:24, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

Happy New Year!

Thanks for your message, it was appreciated and happy new year to you, as well! Now then, I've not looked at Pitt for a while (I know I said I'd look at some of the other issues raised in the FAC that I could deal with). I have a suggestion though. Why don't you get in touch with one or two of the more critical editors (assuming they're still active here, of course) who commented on the prose, and ask them if they'd be nice enough to drop by and raise any points that still need dealing with.If they come back with copyediting issues, I'll be more than happy to help (it is my speciality!). To that end, my talk page is always open if you need me or if they want to deal straight with the copyeditor! All the best for 2010! HJMitchell You rang? 21:48, 1 January 2010 (UTC)

Hey ThinkBlue, long time no talk! I wanted to let you know that I've recently nominated Parks and Recreation (season 1), a fairly recent creation of mine, for GAN. This one is a bit close to my heart since I've been working on P&R content for quite a while, and if this one passes I'll be able to pursue a GT. Since you reviewed my GANs for the pilot episode and season finale, as well as I think one or two others, I thought maybe you'd be uniquely suited to give the Season 1 article a review if you can spare the time. Let me know, no problem if you don't want to. Thanks, and hope all is well! Good luck in the Wikicup, which I see you're participating in! — Hunter Kahn (c) 22:14, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

  • Wow, you sure work fast! lol. Thanks a lot for the review and the feedback, it was very helpful as always! I'm looking forward to pursuing my first ever GT now! And never fear about me getting "tired of seeing you", I always appreciate your reviews when you can spare the time. I'm guessing you'll be putting up some GANs yourself as you go forward in the Wikicup, and if you do please let me know and I'll be happy to review them! (I know I don't have to tell you this, but just so it's on the record, I'm not talking about a quid quo pro thing. I'll do honest reviews just as I'd expect you to do for me, I'm not saying I'll pass yours if you pass mine or anything like that.) Anyway, thanks again! — Hunter Kahn 17:47, 5 January 2010 (UTC)

Perhaps you would like to help?

You have pprobably noticed that I intend to nominate Coldplay for FA status soon. (Once the two citation needed tags have been addressed) I was wondering. Perhaps you can be a co-nominator with me? You are at the top of the edit count for the article and you have a lot of experiance with several other Coldplay related GA's. Tell me what you think. Oh..and good luck in the Wikicup!--Coldplay Expért Let's talk 22:42, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

Well I have put the article up for a Peer review. Perhaps this well address all of the issues that exist. THen we can get to work fixing them and nominate it. Does that sound good?--Coldplay Expért Let's talk 18:09, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
Alright, great. Once the peer review is over and we fix the issues that have been mentioined. We can co-nominate it. Oh...does that mean that we both get credit for the wikicup? Are the points divided of what?--Coldplay Expért Let's talk 18:57, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
Ok then. When it is nominated. We can just put both of our names on the list instead f it saying Nominated by "Coldplay Expert" or Nominated by "ThinkBlue". That way, we can both claim credit and get the points.--Coldplay Expért Let's talk 19:16, 5 January 2010 (UTC)

Dolph Ziggler's Zig Zag

Hi ThinkBlue, I wanted to talk to you directly about Ziggler's finishing move rather than get into an edit fight on his page. While the term "reverse bulldog" suits the Zig Zag and it has been described as such, if you have seen him execute the move, it is clear that it does not match the move his page links to. If you would like to review what exactly the Zig Zag looks like, he used the move on the January 8th episode of SmackDown. -WikiFew (talk) 20:14, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

Just to interject myself here, if I may. Basing your opinon on what the move looks like is original research, and is not allowed in wikipedia articles. The sources in the article, the pro wrestling torch, is reliable and is noted on WP:PW/SG#Sources as being so. Unless you would like to provide another reliable source to back up your claims that it is not a reverse bulldog, the Zig Zag description will remain the same per WP:V. Thanks, ♥NiciVampireHeart09:43, 12 January 2010 (UTC)

I'm really hurt by such allegations that my contributions to Wikipedia are fancruft and unprofessional crap. --Legolas (talk2me) 12:08, 13 January 2010 (UTC)

Re:Hey

Hey TB. I looked it over and it's in very good shape! I'd say you could probably bring it over to GAN as is and do just fine. I hope you don't mind, but I made a few CE edits, so take a look at those. The only other major suggestion I'd say is to shorten the bit about the Cher doll in the lead. I think it's a little too long; maybe just shave off the last sentence, "It was also explained that the doll's role was due to the producers thinking of "a lot of humor [that] would come out of it". And one other question: Cher said she improvised an ending and liked it better than the real one. Do you know what that was? Reading that and then not finding out what her improvised ending was really killed me! lol. Nice work on the page! — Hunter Kahn 18:02, 13 January 2010 (UTC)

Topics

Hey, how are you? It has been a while. I saw Rated-RKO is under review. If you need any help with that let me know. With that down, we can then nominate it for a good topic. I'll get to work on Gangrel. Maybe we can get E&C done soon as well.--WillC 02:25, 14 January 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, too bad you can't count Rated-RKO. I'm sticking in a DYK, GA, FA, and FL basis, mainly FL and DYK. I got Bret Hart's most recent book now, so if you want we can work on something Hart related now. I try not to use OWOW. I usually stick with the top three: WrestleView, PWTorch, and Slam.--WillC 01:37, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
No, I don't have anything yet. I do have about 8 articles almost done in some subpages. All will be submitted for DYKs and 7 will be sent to GAN in time. I'll squeeze Gangrel in there somewhere. That way we can get E&C as a topic. Maybe even pull out The Brood as well, not sure if that involves Terri Runnels though. Okay, thanks. I'll check around.--WillC 00:32, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
Nice to see Rated-RKO passed. What do you want to do now?--WillC 22:42, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
Nice to see you had a nice wiki-vacation. I wish I could do that but I tend to come back to this hellhole. Nice, well I'll put Gangrel in a subpage and get to work on it. We still going to do A.J. Styles and Tomko?--WillC 01:00, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
Yeah sure, you did more work than I have with Rated RKO and E&C, might as well choose something that I can take more workload on so it evens out. I already have AJ in a subpage. Yeah, I'm tired of this place but I still enjoy seeing an article go from nothing to something. Too much drama, etc.--WillC 23:06, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
Yeah sure, we can work on them together if you want. I'll give you the subpage link to AJ. You can take Tomko's WWE sections, etc. We can work on them when we have time and feel like it. Nice work, I like her. She was very pretty in Lord of War. I've been tired of pedia for a while. I'm getting tired of people owning shit, arguing over everything, and then turning around and blaming shit on me, etc. I've worked on articles hard for a long time and helped bring in new formats, etc. Just annoying now. All the drama that comes along and you just can't get away from it.--WillC 04:10, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

Oh don't get me started on wrestler bio formats today. In my honest opinion all of our bios are in bad shape. Too much storyline and character and not enough about the actual wrestler. I would see the wins and the titles meaning more than involving in a storyline over a table. The character and big storylines could be mixed in there but not to the extent they are now. I've always wanted to take one bio article. Work on it and turn it into a straight bio on the wrestler and not company storylines he was in. It is like writing about Christian Bale playing Batman in The Dark Knight and switching from him being an actor and then saying he as the character trying to defeat the evil joker. I'll use what I said about Bale and The Terminator as an example: "Then Bale played John Conner in Terminator 4. Conner went on to battle the evil cyberdyne and try to destroy all the terminators with help from Marcus Wright." Seems completely retarded. I understand on the work, I changed the TNA roster to table format and added a shitload of refs. People kept changing things and I was trying to fix it. I finally gave up and it is in pretty bad shape now imo. Not sure who you are talking about but I have an idea. Hey, we should talk on Yahoo IM more. I never know when you are online.--WillC 21:57, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

I get the same feeling, but I'm at the extent as soon as I start I think "Oh crap, I hope I don't have to deal with TJ and his shit". I don't even pay attention to wrestling anymore. I watch Impact!, but since Hogan and EB have changed too much shit and did alot of bullshit I'm growing tired. I loved the six sided ring, the women's division is dieing, too much Sports Entertainment stuff which they said they were stopping, etc. If I was in control I would run it totally different. Russo was doing better than EB and Hogan. Raw is just terrible. HBK is becoming a joke due to this DX shit. Hart vs Vince is interesting. Taker vs HBK is interesting. Legacy is decently interesting. The Miz is the crown jewel of Raw. SD is better, Punk is doing awesome. Jericho needs the world title now. ECW is decent to good, but I still watch and just say "What the Fuck!" with Cage. ECW Champ yes, but just been downgraded to non-existent. Goes from main eventing PPVs, being NWA Champ twice, offered a 2 Million dollar deal, leading a stable, etc to being on the C brand, not defending his title on 3 PPVs and getting no build to his last defense, with no mention of him on any program other than ECW. My view, that is a huge fall from grace. Well I'm usually always on. So just message me when you got time. I've missed you a few times before, but I'm usually just in the other room. I have school and I only see my girlfriend twice a week sometimes and that is at night time, so I'm usually home nowadays doing work. A small town leaves nothing to do.--WillC 08:07, 25 January 2010 (UTC)

You are welcome to check how many hits your article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check ) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

Another new section

The old one was long. Plus, I figured you might like to archive your talk page sometime. :) Yep, the lead and article look job. Nice job. Hmmm, from the wording of it, yes, it does sound like he has the degree. I gotta say though, cabinet making? That's a little strange. That's a nice article on him though, plenty of info. :) Lawler's too pervy to be on tv - he's there like drooling after Kelly Kelly, who's like what 20?, when he's in his 60s. It shouldn't be allowed. I did a cleanup of Bret's article once, back when I was young and naive, and when I checked on it again about a week later, it was in a worse state than when I started, so I gave up. Thank you, that would be helpful. It doesn't present a very good image of wikipedia when an article on one the most famous pro wrestlers in the world has ridiculously basic grammar errors. Good, maybe the ip has decided to let it rest. Hope so. I know, but I still feel bad. School is just really labour-intensive at the moment, plus I have exams starting in about 3 weeks. Fun.</sarcasm> ♥NiciVampireHeart21:34, 29 January 2010 (UTC)

Great minds think alike. :) I think you should. It's sourced and it's quite interesting. Strange, but interesting. :P I know. I'm in favour of liberal semi-protection for articles, especially BLPs. It's unfair on the subjects of articles that they're constantly replaced with "they are gay" or "he sucks dick" or whatever. I'd hate to have a wikipedia article. :| Yep, they begin February 22 and go on for 2 weeks. Gonna be fun. Did you hear about the Rumble? And who won it? You're gonna have fun with his article over the next week. ♥NiciVampireHeart13:36, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
Yea, yea, especially with all the recent rumours about him and Angelina splitting up. Exactly, it must really suck to google yourself and find info like that on the (usually) number one result in the search engine. I think it sucks that so many people dislike him and enjoy vandalising his article, but I still don't like him. :) I'll readd Edge to my watchlist if ya want. I probably won't be much help, but I don't mind. ♥NiciVampireHeart17:11, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
Soory, I didn't notice your edit - it was hidden by another one. My apologies. Exactly, exactly. Yes, I don't like him because he's an awful, awful wrestler. I also don't like him because he's over-pushed, but that's more the booker's fault, so... Yep, not a problem. Thank you for all your reverts on The Undertaker! There's a lot of them, but I've requested protection again, so hopefully things will chill out a little over there. Hmmm, that reminds me, I must do Mikey this weekend... Well, the source says he was in MMA before WWE right, and then he's had like 1/2 MMA matches afterwards? I suppose, you just add it in like that. ♥NiciVampireHeart15:16, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
I did log in to revert stuff. :) I read the comment that was posted after yours, and just never noticed your comment until I was archiving my talk page. Yea, I heard he has a neck injury at the moment. Yes, I would hate him less. I'd bring it down to merely "strongly disliking" him instead of hating him. :) I know it's frustating. Luckily, I got 6 months protection this time. :D Maybe it is. I'd say leave it, especially since he's only 27. In 2001, when he was supposedly having these MMA matches he was what 18? That and going to college and playing American football? I doubt he'd play football and do MMA at the same time - too much risk of injury. Yea, leave it imo. Btw, nice job on SS. I saw it passed. ♥NiciVampireHeart22:50, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
I will. Sure thing, I'll copyedit it later tonight, I'll have a little time available. I'll drop ya a note when I'm done. Ah, the superbowl - yea, my brother stayed up to watch that. Yea, it'll be fun. The sooner all BLPs are semied the better imo. Did I read the Raw results right? DX lost the titles to Miz and Show? How on earth is Miz going to wear 3 belts (1 US, 2 tag titles)? 1 around the waist ans one on either shoulder? :D —Preceding unsigned comment added by NiciVampireHeart (talkcontribs)
My god, I can't type properly today. :( No, I didn't give myself credit. I'm only the main contributor because I've been reverting vandalism on it constantly for the past 2 years - you did the work to get it to GA standard not me. :) I know, but I couldn't resist. :D Yea, I've been hearing rumours of a DX split for ages now, so I figured they lose it soon. The result suprised me though - I figured Punk and Gallows would be more likely to win, not Miz and Show. But, then again, The Miz is awesome. :) ♥NiciVampireHeart17:48, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

<--Copyedit done. It's in good condition, and I'd say it's ready to go. Yea, it' cause I have the flu from standing in the rain yesterday. Fire alarm went off, so we were all forced outsaide in the rain. Tons of fun.</sarcasm> I don't feel I helped it to achieve GA status, so I'm not taking credit. It's all yours. :) Exactly, exactly. :) Plus I saw you fixing Miz's article today, so I felt free to wind you up a little. :) I don't like it either. I'm looking forward to the match - it'll be good, but at the same time who are they going to have win it? There's rumours 'bout both of them retiring in the next few years, and I'm not sure that 'Taker'll want his streak broken. I'm really liking the straight edge society thing. Punk is so much better as a heel than a face imo, and he was brilliant at the rumble. Stupid HHH eliminating him. Oh, come on. You know he's awesome. :) ♥NiciVampireHeart19:42, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

Not a problem and thank you. :) No, there was a fault with the alarm, so it just randomly went off. Irritating I know. Oh, I'm like that with some articles, 'cause you just look at them and think "great, this'll be full of bullshit". No, I heard that it's going to Cena vs Batista (which Bret Hart and Vince McMahon in their corners). Talk about exciting, that'll be the best wrestling match I've ever seen.</sarcasm> Yea, I don't either. Which is a shame, HBK's still a better wrestler than the majority of the WWE roster. He deserves retirement though, his body must be in bits by now. Same with 'Taker - he apparently needs a hip replacemtn. O_o I think it's a great gimmick, but I don't agree with the whole "straight edge" thing. ife is for living. Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - beer in one hand and chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOW what a ride!' :D Well, he's not as awesome as HBK, but he's still pretty awesome. ♥NiciVampireHeart20:32, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
Yep. There's some articles I've just taken off my watchlist 'cause they were driving me batshit crazy. Oh, I know. I was watching WM 24 just going what the fuck is HBK thinking? And it looked so sore! Yes, exactly. Though, I'd love to see him have one more run with the world championship. :) Just a dream. Yea, hip replacement. Last time he was out he had surgery on it to try and fix it, but it didn't work and so now he apparently needs a hip replacement. Crazy huh? He only in his 40s! xactly, exactly. Yea, I would say more awesome that Punk, but that's just me. ♥NiciVampireHeart00:41, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
No, he's still on my watchlist - but I'm not actively watching it if you know what I mean. I check in on it once a week or so and check for vandalism or whatever. Yep, I got rid of DX as well - it wasn't worth it. I removed a couple of random TNA wrestlers who had somehow ended up on my watchlist. No, of course not. The problem is everytime I'm online, the vandalism on Cody and Ted has already been reverted by you. :D Yes, it was an excellent match. Exactly, exactly. Ugh, Hogan. Not a fan. Apparently so. That really sucks, y'know. He's in his mid-40s. Smack in the face for anyone who thinks wrestling is fake, huh? Hmmm, that's a hard one, but I'll point out that Morrison was much more awesome as a heel. ♥NiciVampireHeart17:37, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
It's cool, don't worry about it. Yea, Christian was on mine too, but he's gone. Oh, did you? I'm sorry. If I'd known, I would have let you go ahead. I think I just got attached to both Ted and Cody, 'cause I'd been working on them for so long that I just went ahead and finished them off without thinking. I do apologise. Ugh, all the stupid arguments over whether he's the first triple champion. *rolls eyes* If it gets protected though, it'll end up being fully protected due to edit-warring. I had to warn User:Vjmlhds, though he should have been blocked. 6 reverts in 22 hours. Ridiculous. ♥NiciVampireHeart15:26, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
I did. :) I was lucky, Ted is like the new WWE poster boy for the WWE, and with The Marine 2 release, he's done loads of interviews, so it was easy to flesh out the article. Yes, I know. He doesn't appear to understand WP:SYNTH at all, or WP:3RR. *rolls eyes* I checked as well, and nada. It seems so. ♥NiciVampireHeart17:31, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
I heard Randy's turning face. o_O Me no likey. Cody and Ted staying heel, and Randy turns face? No. Bad. :/ I didn't see Raw this week, actually. I don't know tbh. I'd like to see him challenge for the championship, but I think him vs. Sheamus wouldn't be a great match. Plus, I've heard of a Randy-Ted match at 'Mania. I reckon HHH will win tbh. I know, it's a pretty simple guideline. If it's not said in the source, don't add it. How hard is that? They should read our threads. We're awesome. :D Plus geniuses. :P ♥NiciVampireHeart20:16, 16 February 2010 (UTC)

<--I think it's just 'cause he keeps getting cheered. Yes, Randy vs. Ted. It's interesting actually, 'cause I agree with you. It does look like it could end up being Randy-Cody at WM. I doubt it though, Ted's the favorite with the WWE higher-ups, so he's more likely to get the 'Mania match. Have you heard about the new ppv plans? All themed. I wonder how many buys they're going to do. Exactly, exactly. Oh, really? I'll have to find it on youtube, and see. :D ♥NiciVampireHeart01:39, 20 February 2010 (UTC)

Gotta tell ya, I wasn't happy with Cena winning the championship either. :D I agree though, awful booking. I heard "the Irish guy" got himself a concussion in the EC match. Did you see the thing with Taker's pyro accident? Fucking crazy. Hmmm, I still think it's gonna be Randy v. Ted - Ted pinned him in the EC, the whole thing on Raw. Nah, I'm not gonna buy it. it's only one disc, and all WWE DVDs are a complete rip-off from the Euro WWE store. I might see if I can find it online though - it sounds interesting. Not really, I'm really annoyed there's getting rid of Survivor Series - I always loved the Survivor Series matches. Well, I though both the Hell in a Cell and TLC ppvs were fairly crap, so not really. :( I found it on youtube. :D You're right, it was funny. Btw, thanks for the help with Nemeth's GA review. I think I got the last comment, so, hopefully it passes soon. My exams are on this week and next, and this is first time I've been able to think about anything other than them all week. ♥NiciVampireHeart19:19, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
LOL. Did ya miss me? :P Wow, I feel bad. Kinda left you in the firing line there, huh? I should have more time next week, so I'll help out if I can. :) Oh, I know, I couldn't believe it - I was like "wow". I know, I know. I don't want him to go either. :( Both him and 'Taker are supposedly taking time off after WM, but I hope "time off" doesn't equal "retirement". Well, maybe. :) No idea - some gimmick ppv, same as the others. Apparently it drew crap buys last year, so Vince is getting rid of it. I appreciate it. Seriously. I can understand that. I have a maths exam tomorrow morning. Not good. :( ♥NiciVampireHeart20:41, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
Wow, guilt-trip alert! Nah, I'm kidding. I understand, I suppose it's a good thing I was online tonight, to help you keep back the baying hordes. Yea, people love to edit-war over trivial info. Honestly, with the amount of times Legacy has attacked each other, pinned each other, and wrestled each other, you'd think people would stop jumping to conclusions. Some hope huh? I barely watch Raw as it is - let's be honest, it's not very good. I tend to watch it on youtube so I can skip the crapppy Batista/Cena matches and Vince's promos, and the endless, repetitive repeats of a segment that happened 5 seconds ago. Much better that way. :) Hey did you watch NXT? Was it any good? I recorded it, but I don't know whether to watch it or not... Well, aparently TLC got better buys than Survivor Series. I agree with you actually, gimmick matches are overdone, and having them on every ppv is a bad idea. I would. :) Guaranteed. Yea, it's going to be horrible though - it has Trig on it, and I hate Trig. It's probably why I can't sleep right now actually. :| Thank you. :) I wish you luck on your exams as well, even if they're not for another 2 weeks. ♥NiciVampireHeart00:57, 25 February 2010 (UTC)

WikiCup 2010 January newsletter

We are half way through round one of the WikiCup. We've had some shakeups regarding late entries, flag changes and early dropouts, but the competition is now established- there will be no more flag changes or new competitors. Congratulations to Hungary Sasata (submissions), our current leader, who, at the time of writing, has more listed points than Pennsylvania Hunter Kahn (submissions) and New Orleans TonyTheTiger (submissions) (second and third place respectively) combined. A special well done also goes to Isle of Man Fetchcomms (submissions)- his artcle Jewel Box (St. Louis, Missouri) was the first content to score points in the competition.

Around half of competitors are yet to score. Please remember to submit content soon after it is promoted, so that the judges are able to review entries. 64 of the 149 current competitors will advance to round 2- if you currently have no points, do not worry, as over half of the current top 64 have under 50 points. Everyone needs to get their entries in now to guarantee their places in round 2! If you are concerned that your nomination will not receive the necessary reviews, and you hope to get it promoted before the end of the round, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. However, please remember to continue to offer reviews at GAC, FAC and all the other pages that require them to prevent any backlogs which could otherwise be caused by the Cup. As ever, questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup and the judges are reachable on their talk pages, by email or on IRC. Good luck! Hey, thanks for reviewing/passing this article as a GA. I'm considering putting it up at FAC, you think it's ready for there yet? (doing it soon since it'd be a good TFA for April 9). Also, per User:Wizardman/GA incentive, if there's one or two articles you would like me to review, I'll gladly do so as soon as time permits. GA Reviews

I really appreciate the effort you put in reviewing article from the GA nominations, because of the quality of the feedback and detail in suggestions that you post. Please let me know when you will do other reviews, I would gladly work on them. Mephiston999 (talk) 03:32, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

Can you please review the article I have put for GA nomination. Mephiston999 (talk) 17:13, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

Hey man, thanks for reviewing 2009 UEFA Champions League Final for me. It means a lot to me that the article passed GAN with the need for only a few modifications. Just out of interest, if I nominated the article today, do you think it would pass WP:FAC? I doubt it, but if you could let me know the areas where you think it needs improvement, I would be very grateful. – PeeJay 22:48, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

By the way, I noticed your comment about the Saints in your review. You know I'm a Vikings fan, right? :-P – PeeJay 22:49, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
OK dude, cheers for the pointers. The article has already had a peer review, but I'll make sure I get it copyedited again before taking it to WP:FAC. The last peer review also suggested that I add more references to the match summary section, but I'm waiting until I can afford to buy the DVD of the match before doing that. Anyways, I figured you mentioned the Saints cos of my earlier comment about the Champions League final getting more viewers than last year's Super Bowl, I just wanted to make my allegiance known, given the acrimonious (IMO) circumstances in which the Saints beat the Vikes two weeks ago. I actually got into AmFoot through the Madden NFL games; the first one I had was Madden 08, in which I played Superstar Mode as a promising young rookie named Adrian Peterson, and since he plays for the Vikings I kept an eye out for their games to see how I could play Madden better. Since then I've been a Viking all the way; even got my own jersey a few weeks ago! Anyways, I'm not sure who I'd prefer to win this year's Super Bowl: Peyton's had a fantastic career, and it would be nice to see him get another ring with the Colts, but the Saints have done so well to overcome Katrina and reach their first ever Super Bowl, so I'll probably root for them too! After all, if the Saints can beat the Colts, considering their performance in their last game, there's every possibility that the Vikes could have done it too, and that makes me happy :) – PeeJay 22:25, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
Thanks very much, man. I do take great pride in my articles (yes, I know we shouldn't assume ownership of articles, but I did pretty much write that entire thing ;-) ), I just wish that they got a little more recognition. It seems like people outside the WP fraternity still just view us as a source of knowledge – which of course we are – but there are some of us who are actually trying to do some quality work! It's for that reason that I'm thinking about a career in journalism. At least then, if I can make it to a decent level, someone might sit up and take notice of my work. I know that sounds very self-centred of me, but if it makes for a better encyclopaedia, I reckon it's to all our benefits that I maintain my attitude as it is. Anyway, cheers for the compliments and the review. Best of luck to the Saints on Sunday! I'll be watching! – PeeJay 22:52, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
You're a chick?! I guess I completely missed that on your userpage :D But I guess it doesn't make any difference, does it? – PeeJay 22:56, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

Hey TB. It's been a long time! How have you been? :) User:ThinkBlue/Sandbox4 popped up on my watchlist so I thought I'd drop by to tell you that I think you've done an excellent job! Theleftorium 21:41, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

Naaw.. thanks. ;) I've been busy with school as well. I can't say it's going very good, though. I blame Wikipedia for stealing my time. :P Theleftorium 21:55, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

Hey ThinkBlue. Not a problem at all, don't worry about it. Things are a bit busy for me this week, but I'll try to take a look at it this weekend! — Hunter Kahn 02:59, 5 February 2010 (UTC)

  • Hey TB. Ok, I've looked over St. Valentine's Day (30 Rock) and made a few changes that you can review here. One suggestion I had was that you reword this part in the plot summary: "though, during the call, the congregation begins the Lord's Prayer, all of which Jack disguises his call." I found it confusion, but since I didn't see the episode, I wasn't sure how to fix it. Other than that, the one major thing I think that needs revamping here is that the reception section is too long, and gives way too much space to the individual reviews. When I do a television episode article, I try to keep the reviews down to one or two paragraphs at the very most (examples: Leslie's House or Dances with Smurfs). I think you use too many long quotes that could be cut down or paraphrased, at least in part; for example: "In its aptly titled Valentine's episode, 'St. Valentine's Day,' the gang at 30 Rock gave us three mostly disastrous dates. It was exactly what you would expect from a series that thrives on uncomfortable romantic situations. [...] There was a lot to enjoy in this very funny episode. [...] This episode had plenty of get moments and memorable lines to make the weak endings a minor factor."" Also, I'm not a big fan of how some of the reviews are touched upon in earlier paragraphs, and then more details from those reviews are given in later paragraphs. I think everything from one review should be included all together. I didn't do any major revamps to Reception because I figured if any were to be done, you should do it. But if you wanted me to take a crack at it, let me know and I will. Thanks, hope this was helpful! — Hunter Kahn 00:31, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

Re:St. Valentine's Day (30 Rock)

It's no issue. I've adjusted a few things, and it's quite excellent, actually, but here's my suggestions on improvement:

  • The ratings info is kind of written as if each three sentences are unrelated, when (as you know) their incredibly similar. Try getting it to flow a little better.
  • It'd be best to mention who Hamm lost to at the Emmys.
  • The conclusion of The Star Ledger's review seems kind of unrelated to the rest of comments made by it. I'd suggest rewording the opening of the final sentence of it.

That's about it. Nice work and I'd be happy to review it when you take it to GAN. BTW, thanks for the pass on "Mole Hunt"! Cheers, The Flash I am Jack's complete lack of surprise 22:28, 16 February 2010 (UTC)

Good to see you got a second opinion on Pitt. I just looked at the diffs (still got it watchlisted!) and it's funny what you miss sometimes. Always good to get fresh eyes on it. Any idea when you're going for FAC? Needless to say, I'll do what I can to help it through the process. Best, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 21:18, 24 February 2010 (UTC)

  • Ah, I see you're on. While you are, I was wondering about the refs in the lead (not the one for the DOB, though I see you put that back). All but one of them is used in the body of the article so I was wondering if they needed to be there- with the exception of DOB, I tend to frown upon refs in the lead when I do GA reviews and if I'd bring it up in a GAN, it's likely to come up at the FAC. Any thoughts? HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 17:10, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, sorry I haven't worked on Gangrel. Just been busy and really not caring about Wikipedia. This next coming week I'm going to hopefully pull it out with a few others. Maybe we can finally get that Good Topic. Nice to see Rated RKO get passed though.--WillC 12:42, 25 February 2010 (UTC)

Well I've been at my girlfriend's house about every night this week so I haven't been doing much on here. Maybe a few looks on my watchlist, about it. Hopefully I can do something with gangrel. No, I'm at 60 points so I'm fine. I didn't do enough to justify it.--WillC 04:31, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

A gentlemen never tells. Okay, take your time and I'll take mine. I got a few other things to get done first before I start writing again.--WillC 22:05, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

Can go either way. I got school, housework, finding a job, and hanging with my girl. Plus I got small stuff for the wikicup. Most likely I'll do it soon. Shouldn't be too hard. Grangrel hasn't done a great deal.--WillC 22:33, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

OMG, why did you think that we are not on good terms? Lol! Gurrl you are so wrong :) I will give my two cents in the PR, sometime later today, or maybe tomorrow. I read the Dolls and Dolls episode, its so funny. I remember Madonna was so bad in that! --Legolas (talk2me) 04:13, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
I think compared to her American Life debacles, the W&G apearance fared less in terms of notability, hence no mention of it in the article. Maybe the actual American Life article can have a mention of it. --Legolas (talk2me) 09:05, 2 March 2010 (UTC)

Got there first! :P Yea, I get that feeling sometimes - mainly if I'm online early in the morning my time, 'cause it's the middle of the night in the states, and everyone is asleep. :D Make sure you drop a 3RR warning on his talk page; if the warning doesn't stop him, you can report him and get him blocked. Exactly, there's no telling where WWE's going with this angle, they could spin it out for months, or end it at Mania. People need to just chillax and realise they're being idiots. I've been too busy to watch any WWE really, I stick with ROH 'cause it's the only thing I have time to watch. :( I think I will watch NXT this weekend though, just for Bryan Danielson Daniel Bryan (what a stupid name that is). Well, I think Vince lost it a long time ago, but that's just me... Any chance of a favour? Stick Gregory Helms on your watchlist - he was released today and I'm expecting a ton of "going to TNA" rumours to start flooding the page in the next few days. *rolls eyes* Yea, I was right. It was an awful exam, but hopefully the algebra and co-ordinate geometry sections pull me up. *crosses fingers* Oh, ouch, calculus. I hate calculus. I don't know, but I sure wish it was easier. :( ♥NiciVampireHeart19:23, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

I know what ya mean. :P Hmmm, hopefully, he'll feck off so. Yea, same. They've been teasing a break-up for months like. Plus, people seem to be diagreeing on who this is turning face. Reverted an edit on Cody Rhodes today, claiming that DiBiase + Rhodes are now face. This is why I keep reverting. People can't even agree on that! Yea, aren't they? I know. It's tying in to Miz claiming that he has no personality and "looks like [his] accountant". Thank you. Hope so. Only two exams to go now - Biology and Chemistry, so hopefully they won't be too bad. ♥NiciVampireHeart17:35, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
Actaully, per the source it's a "spinning neckbreaker", which of course is a rolling cutter or an "inverted swining neckbreaker".</sarcasm> Amazing how they manage to take what's in a reference, completely ignore it and come up with something else. *rolls eyes* Anyway, yes, hopefully, they conclusively show tonight that they've split or not. The specualtion is seriosuly irritating. I like Biology, not so keen on chemistry. I had Bio today, and it's was good. I have until Friday to study for Chemistry so it shouldn't be too bad though. ♥NiciVampireHeart16:41, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
It's no problem. :) I really just go by the source. An inverted swining neckbreaker is the same thing as a rolling cutter, I think, but it's not the same as a spinning neckbreaker. I think they just want it to be a rolling cutter, so they took the source and just read into it what they wanted. Oh, ffs. How ridiculous. Hey, question: this revert? I saw the original edit, and I assumed that one "l" was the correct spelling over there in the States. Am I wrong? I know it's definetly "ll" here, but... Yep. Fingers crossed. ♥NiciVampireHeart17:13, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
Hmmm, I always assumed that Canadians and Americans used the same spelling. Oops. I've bookmarked that website, it'll be seriously useful. :) Oh, hey, I meant to ask earlier, but it totally slipped my mind, can you do the lead for Mikey? I hope to get it done before the weekend, since I have three days off. ♥NiciVampireHeart18:38, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
Yes, it's strange. Guess it's 'cause they don't like ya! :P Forgive my ignorance, but lost to Canada in what? The only sporting result I know from recently is this one from Saturday. *gloats for a moment* Thank you. There's no rush, I've got to look up some stuff from after he left WWE, so it'll take me a while. ♥NiciVampireHeart18:53, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
I'd say that's it. :P Ooh, ouch, golden goal. That's gotta suck. I've always associated ice hockey with Canada - it's a very Canadian sport. Oh, you should have watched it. It was fanastic - England were leading until like a few minutes right before the end when Tommy Bowe got a try. A fucking beautiful try. I was watching it in the pub, and the entire place just went crazy. Beer was flying everywhere! I will. Hmmm, we'll have to come up with something. It'll be the summer before we can get stuck into it though, I've found it hard enough to find time for Mikey. :( ♥NiciVampireHeart19:05, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

<--Sucks to be American. :D Well, the Six Nations Championship isn't an elimination tournament, so we didn't "advance", no. :P We're in the running for the Triple Crown though. We lost to France two weeks ago, so they're probably going to win the overall championship this year, unless they fuck up majorly. I did. It was brilliant. OMG, check this out. I couldn't stop laughing. Yep, absolutely. Hey, look at this. The majority of that press releases looks really familar. Guess it's pretty good. :) ♥NiciVampireHeart19:44, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

Really? Why? :P No, kidding. Anyway, I know, it's hilarious. I was laughing for about half an hour after I first saw that. Yea, yea, on Sunday. There actually hasn't been a lot of activity on his article, so it's up to you. :) It looks like it. Ah, well. I've referenced Legacy, Rhodes, DiBiase, and Orton, and cleaned up the awful grammar (you'd think people could use the correct tenses when writing about these thing. *rolls eyes*) You might want to check over Orton's though, I think it might be a bit too detailed, but I figureed I'd let you decide. ♥NiciVampireHeart12:10, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
PS you'll enjoy this. Awesomely done by Spanky! ♥NiciVampireHeart12:13, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
It's excellent. :D No, no it's fine. It saved me from beating my brains out on chemistry. Yea, I was wondering about that, because it didn't really involved Legacy y'know? It was more Orton vs. Kingston than Legacy vs. Kingston, so I don't really get why it's in the Legacy article... I know. The man has genius comedic timing. Oh, I'm sorry for getting you trouble. Now I don't know whether to give you this link or not. Watch at your peril! ♥NiciVampireHeart18:21, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
Ya, ya. Sorry for the delay, I just have not been bothered to edit. Sheer laziness on my part and I apologise for it. Thanks for the help with Johnny Jeter, it passed a few hours ago. Now I just have to convince myself to work on Mondo... ♥NiciVampireHeart02:44, 7 March 2010 (UTC)

WikiCup 2010 February newsletter

Round one is over, and round two has begun! Congratulations to the 64 contestants who have made it through, but well done and thank you to all contestants who took part in our first round. A special well done goes to Hungary Sasata (submissions), our round one winner (1010 points), and to Pennsylvania Hunter Kahn (submissions) and New Orleans TonyTheTiger (submissions), who were second and third respectively (640 points/605 points). Sasata was awarded the most points for both good articles (300 points) and featured articles (600 points), and TonyTheTiger was awarded the most for featured topics (225 points), while Hunter Kahn claimed the most for good topics (70). Connecticut Staxringold (submissions) claimed the most featured lists (240 points) and featured pictures (35 points), Geschichte (submissions) claimed the most for Did you know? entries (490 points), Jujutacular (submissions) claimed the most for featured sounds (70 points) and Republic of Ireland Candlewicke (submissions) claimed the most for In the news entries (40 points). No one claimed a featured portal or valued picture.

Credits awarded after the end of round one but before round two may be claimed in round two, but remember the rule that content must have been worked on in some significant way during 2010 by you for you to claim points. The groups for round two will be placed up shortly, and the submissions' pages will be blanked. This round will continue until 28 April, when the top two users from each group, as well as 16 wildcards, will progress to round three. Please remember to continue to offer reviews at GAC, FAC and all the other pages that require them to prevent any backlogs which could otherwise be caused by the Cup; thank you to all doing this last round, and particularly to those helping at Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. As ever, questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup and the judges are reachable on their talk pages, by email or on IRC. Good luck! 30 Rock episodes

I'd love to! 2009 World Series is my only real meaningful experience with the GA process, and that was largely just a failed FAC. What kind of advice would you offer for a TV article GA? Staxringold talkcontribs 01:56, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

  • That actually sounds fantastic, those areas (the DVD dependent ones) were what I was worried about. Want to just collaborate like that, you fill in the DVD bits (let me know what you're working on whenever you pick out a new project) and we move like that? Generalissimo is as good a starting point as any. *gets distracted thinking about Salma Hayek* Wait what? :) Staxringold talkcontribs 02:30, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

FA Collaboration

I know we are in the process of getting Brad Pitt to FA status, but I was thinking if you wanted to work with me on Randy Orton and John Cena to get them to FA status as well. I plan on doing a copy-edit of these two pages here within the next few days, but I was wondering if you had any ideas to push them to the next level. Are you up for it? –Turian (talk) 16:09, 3 March 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, I am from the Midwest, so it is kind of a requirement to watch it growing up. Haha I know it's scripted and all, but I've watched it since I was 7.
I am kind of iffy on the jargon rule. Is no jargon allowed in the wrestling articles? I mean, you can't really avoid all of it, unless it is just simple terminology. I'll pay attention to that as well. Is there a certain site you would like to get references from, or is it sporadic?
Also, I did take a little break, but I am returning now! Obviously lol. –Turian (talk) 16:37, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, I think I get it now. I'll run through Brad Pitt for a cleanup edit since having more than one eye on the grammar is always best. I might get to Orton after that, depending on how much time I have. –Turian (talk) 16:56, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
It seems to be going in a good direction for the Pitt article. I am about to start on the Orton article. Also, can you keep an eye on WrestleMania XXVI? I am assuming the information constantly being added happened on SmackDown, which took place last night. Do you have a legit source for it? Thanks! –Turian (talk) 18:51, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
Hmmm, I think those spaces are coming from wikiEd, which I use, or something along those lines. I'll see if I can fix whatever is happening. –Turian (talk) 00:10, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
I think I got them all. If they are in the Pitt article, let me know. –Turian (talk) 01:02, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

Try this: "While promoting Fight Club, Pitt said that the purpose of the film was not necessarily to take one's aggressions out on someone else but rather to 'have an experience, take a punch more' and see how you come out on the other end." Some people don't like "but rather"s but I don't see it as an issue here. –Turian (talk) 18:30, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

DYK for Dolls and Dolls

Updated DYK query On March 4, 2010, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Dolls and Dolls, which you created or substantially expanded. You are welcome to check how many hits your article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check ) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

Hawke's recent film career

Hi there, I just made a few changes/additions to the last paragraph of Hawke's film career. Do you mind checking it out here? --Artoasis (talk) 09:22, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

Great, I like the revisions you made, and I think we can include it in the article now. As for the salon reference, it's so weird. Yesterday I checked, it gave me a "404 page not found". Now it's totally fine. Weird... --Artoasis (talk) 00:35, 10 March 2010 (UTC)
I just added that part myself, hope you don't mind. And, yeah, call me Art, it's a cool name, ;p --Artoasis (talk) 00:32, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
Cool, I'll just call you Blue now. BTW, I checked the page view stat of Kristen Dunst's article. It went through the roof that day. Amazing. --Artoasis (talk) 14:34, 13 March 2010 (UTC)

Hey, just reviewed Bridget Moynahan for you. I gave it a copyedit while I was there and it's now a GA. Congratulations! I've left a few suggestions on the /GA1 for you if you want to take it further. Best, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 19:22, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

Nice work on the article. I enjoyed reading it. :) Theleftorium 22:07, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

I guess you might see Lisa the Vegetarian some day :P I was surprised to see that the article was protected. That usually never happens on a TFA. Theleftorium 22:14, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
Not as much as before. Still having a hard time to get into the article-writing mood, though :-) Theleftorium 15:52, 12 March 2010 (UTC)
Mostly working on copyright issues at WP:SCV and WP:CCI. Sounds boring, I know ;) I think I might nominate Al Jean for GAN sometime this weekend, though. Anyway, what have you been up to? :) Theleftorium 17:57, 12 March 2010 (UTC)
Heh, thanks! I'll let you know once the article is nominated. Good luck with Brad Pitt! Theleftorium 18:15, 12 March 2010 (UTC)
Well, I hardly did any mentoring. Thanks though. ;P Theleftorium 18:20, 12 March 2010 (UTC)

I've nominated the article now. Take your time, there's no rush at all. :) Theleftorium 16:22, 13 March 2010 (UTC)

Pitt again

Just wondered if these are legitimate edits in improving the article. Wildhartlivie (talk) 18:52, 13 March 2010 (UTC)

Partially. I gererally don't check on edits by people I know are working on copy-editing the article, but I saw a new name with some extensive changes, some of which seemed a little bit puffy, and thought I'd ask. Wildhartlivie (talk) 22:31, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
I see what she said. I don't tend to agree with her, I think it's marvellously comprehensive. Having said that, I see a few small things that I'll comment on here, rather than muddy up the FAN with it.
Early work
  • One sentence is "Later in 1988 Pitt made a guest appearance on the Fox police drama 21 Jump Street." which is directly followed by "Later in 1988, the Yugoslavian-U.S. co-production The Dark Side of the Sun gave Pitt his first leading film role, as a young American taken by his family to the Adriatic to find a remedy for a skin condition." in the next paragraph.
    • Fixed.
  • And back to our sentence: "After years of supporting roles in movies and frequent television guest appearances, broader public recognition came for Pitt with his supporting role in the 1991 road film Thelma & Louise." "Public recognition is not cited nor is it defined. What does that mean in terms of actual outcome? He was named soemthing? He got another role because of it? Women sent him their panties? :)
    • Added source about the recognition bit.
  • The next paragraph starts with "After Thelma & Louise, Pitt had a firm following among female audiences, but was at this point regarded more for his sex appeal than his acting chops." What supports that statement?
    • Removed, as it's OR and POV.
  • Just an aside and maybe a smile: My Four Word Film Review for A River Runs Through It was "Prettier brother becomes casualty." Is there anything out there about what led Redford to cast him?
    • Looking for some info. on it.
Critical success
  • I tend to wonder the same thing regarding Legends of the Fall regarding his casting. Are there any comments floating around from the production crew?
    • Same as above.
      • Update: I found something. According to an archived article from The Tampa Tribune, "Director Ed Zwick said the film [Legends of the Fall] has been in development for eight years, surviving three different regimes at the studio that eventually made it. Pitt was always the first choice for Tristan, [Zwick] said. 'Brad has a great presence on the screen that comes from within,' the director said. 'He's not someone who exists only on the surface. It's something that exudes from him. 'He's enormously physical, and he always brings that physicality to his roles. That kind of physical presence was essential for Tristan."
  • The article should state what Academy Award nomination he received, which is the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.
    • Done.
  • Sleepers was also criticized for its allegedly being a true story which seemed to me to effect the reviews it got.
    • What do you want me to do? I'm confused with this.
      • Well, the article says the film received mixed reviews, but it doesn't elaborate on that. I'm just commenting that it was fairly criticized for the allegations of it being a true story. My impression was that it effected the outcome.
  • His Irish accent in The Devil's Own had widely mixed reception. A lot of it was bad.
    • Got a suggestion?
      • Add critical commentary about the accent, some praising him, some panning him. I think content about that would be informational. It is one that I mimic when an Irish accent is needed: "I told ya Tom, 'tis not an American tale, 'tis an Oirish one." It's trashed here, here and here and in this, he talks about poor choices in taking parts.
        • Added reviews.
  • I wonder at this point if box office reception could be introduced to part of this.
    • For The Devil's Own?
      • About any of them, I guess.
        • Added box office result for The Devil's Own and Seven Years in Tibet was a flop, so.
From 1999 through 2003
  • "The following year Pitt starred opposite Julia Roberts in the romantic comedy The Mexican, a film that garnered a broad range of reviews but enjoyed box office success." That left me wanting more information about the broad range of reviews.
    • Do I add a positive and negative review?
      • Well, reviews supporting that, maybe.
  • Is Salon.com properly noted or should it be Salon?
    • Either way; I prefer "Salon.com". ;)
After 2003
  • "An onset injury" should be "An on-set injury".
    • Done.
  • Also, he spent quite a bit of time "beefing up" for the role.
    • Yeah, that I do know, though I can't find anything about how much weight he gained.
      • Oh, honey, it was MUSCLE. He was quite fine in that. Anything about body improvement to go with the training.
        • He was told by Wolfgang Peterson, and some other people, to bulk up, and as a result, hired a personal trainer, in which he gained the muscle weight with weightlifting and sword training, the latter being noted in the article. Would this ---> "Prior to the filming of Troy, based on the Iliad, Pitt spent six months sword training and bulking up to match the character's muscular physique." work in the article?
  • Not sure what this sentence means: "With a total worldwide gross of $497 million, Troy stands as the highest grossing film of Pitt's career to end 2008." Does this mean up and through 2008 or factually, in his entire career?
    • His entire career, though, reworded.
  • The first paragraph here sort of jumps. It mentions Troy and Ocean's Twelve then goes back to talk about Troy and comes back to Ocean's Twelve. I think that if I were writing it, I'd have the Ocean's Twelve content together.
    • It's an introductory to that he starred in two movies.
  • "and earning Pitt the Volpi Cup award for Best Actor in Venice" should probably say Venice Film Festival.
    • Done.
  • re: Benjamin Button, again it should state clearly what Academy Award nomination he received (Academy Award for Best Actor) and I think the sentence tied in with box office is too much. It should be broken up.
    • I think I got it.
  • I would look at the punctuation, especially that there are various places where a well-placed comma would help.
    • Well, since the article has gone through many copy-edits, all the copy-editors, it seems, that they all agreed with the comma settings in the article.

I hope these comments are taken in the same vein they are offered, with the best of intentions. Wildhartlivie (talk) 02:27, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

  • replied to your question on my own talk page, but you needn't rush to reply, I've only just got on so I need to browse my watchlist. Btw, Wildhartlivie offers some good suggestions there- I'll have a look at some of that later if you haven't already done it! Best, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 12:14, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
Very good. I posted some follow up comments above. Thanks. Wildhartlivie (talk) 03:46, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

I was searching about to answer my question about A River Runs Through It and came upon this article that has some content that might help your work on the article. Wildhartlivie (talk) 04:06, 20 March 2010 (UTC)

Generalissimo (30 Rock)

Hello ThinkBlue

Just wondering why you seem to have downgraded the image on Generalissimo (30 Rock) from my original upload File:3.10_Generalissimo.png? The image is allowed under the fair usage policy and has recently been tagged for deletion due to being abandoned... It seems very silly to downgrade an allowed picture, don't you think?

I am so sorry

I totally did not realise that you had responded to me. Hectic few weeks, unfortunately, and I just did a cursory scan of my talk page when I logged on. I feel awful. You must think I've been ignoring you or something. I'm really not, I promise. I am so sorry. Thank you. It feels good to have it pass. I really must find some time to work on Mikey. The problem is, eberytimje I log on I'm confronted by a very full watchlist that I feel obliged to wade through, which completely takes up all my time. :( ♥NiciVampireHeart22:00, 20 March 2010 (UTC)

Well now I feel bad. There's you plodding away with Dykstra at GAN and Brad Pitt at FAC (congrats on the passes by the way), and asking for my help and I'm not around. Very disappointing to me I must say. I'm on Easter break atm, so I just finished off Mikey and nominated. If you want to have a look and copyedit that's fine - but honestly, don't feel compelled to do anything. I feel very bad for leaving you to do Dykstra's review all by yourself. :( What did ya think of WM last night? No more HBK! BOOO! And double BOOO! for Cena. ♥NiciVampireHeart15:48, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
I still feel bad. :( Hey, if you have anything you want me to look over - ask in the next two weeks and I should be able to get to it. Yes, I got Mikey done and nominated yesterday. Seems like there's a bigger than usual backlog at GAN. I might have to dust my reviewer's hat if I get a chance. The Pitt article is very nice, I had a read through yesterday. Me likey Brad Pitt. :D Oh, really? I've seen all of it, except for the Batista-Cena match (which I have no desire to see) and the HBK-'Taker match, which my friend recorded for me. :D Gonna watch it later. Seriously annoyed though 'cause I missed Raw - I wanna see HBK's speech. You gave them a black eye? Wow. Remind me never to get on your bad side! :P I still don't think Edge is 100% though. he hasn't been moving like he used to, and he seems a little rusty, which is why I think he didn't get the belt. Hey, I hate to ask for a favour, but I'm being driven crazy by ips/idiots on Bryan Danielson. Can you watchlist it and revert anything that doesn't have a source provided? Especially anyone adding "The Miz" to his trainers. *rolls eyes* I've requested sproection, but I dunno if I'll get it. ♥NiciVampireHeart11:11, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
Hey how long has your edit notice been there? Have I been really dense and just missed it for a few weeks or...? Anyway, yep, I can do a copyedit of that tomorrow, if that works. I have to go cram for a repeat exam tomorrow morning. :( Yes, I'm not a big fan of Jolie I must say. Too pouty. :P Hmmm, WM was a bit "meh" really. I watched the HBK-'Taker match, and it wasn't as good as last year's but it was still really good. And so emotional. I cried at the end. And then I went and found his speech from Raw on youtube and cried some more. I've got my fingers crossed that he comes back as the Raw GM once they scrap that stupid guest host thing. It's not as good as him actually wrestling, but it's better than not seeing him at all. Did he? I love that pose. He brought it back at WM as well and I was very happy to see it, I must say. I wonder why Cody's gotten some time off - I know he got punted by Randy, but I'm wondering if it's 'cause he's legit injured or what. I hope not. Hmmm, I don't blame you for punching them so. I would have too. :D I know he's been hitting spears fine, it's the rest of the matches that has me slightly concerned. Btw, you should read this review of WM. I was laughing my head off. Thank you. Hopefully the ips'll just bugger off. See, there's a) a difference between kayfabe and legit, which the ips are just mot getting, and b) there's a difference between mentoring and training anyway. *rolls eyes* ♥NiciVampireHeart21:00, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
Hey, just did a copyedit of Black Light Attack!'s plot section for ya, but this part had me confused, so I left it alone: "At knowing about Danny and Liz's relationship, Jack does a black light attack on Liz, which results in body paint all over her, at the result of this was that Danny's body paint had not washed off after performing as a robot on a sketch, as a way to show her that he knows about the two." D'you mean that Liz had paint on her because it had rubbed off Danny on to her?
Oh I see. Yes, it did actually! I was like "whoa, freaky", 'til I realised it was a page notice. Yea, it was very similar to their match last year, but I think it worked anyway. It was really emotional, which bumped it up a bunch of points. It was so sad after the match when he started to cry, and loads of people in the crowd were crying as well. Ah, I'd read the results before I saw it, so I knew he was comping out to show respect so I didn't really mind. Bet you like Randy better now that he's face. I like the fact that he's still keeping his evil "slithering" viper thing going though - he'd be really boring otherwise. "nice to see that happen" - that's a bit harsh. Much appreciated. ♥NiciVampireHeart14:59, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
Ooops. Kinda forgot to respond. Anyway, I did a further coupla fixes to the plot section so I think it should be good now. Yea, I remember, before you had that little box in the corner, your talk page would just be reams of "Thanks for the review. Can you look at it again?" type messages. In fairness, you have reviewed a lot of GANs. Yea, I must say I liked how the "Raw rebound" thing they do on other shows was all about HBK. A nice sendoff. I didn't HHH coming out at the end though. Nice "bro" hug between them, but still, it was all about HBK and him coming out was unnecessary imo. True, true, and he is keeping the kind of viper vibe going, so I'd say he's gonna be a tweener. He's been a tweener for months anyway - everyone likes cheering him. Yea, they are aren't they? What d'you think of our new WHC? Bizarre choice huh? I was pulling for Christian to win MitB myself. *Sigh* Oooh, born on April Fool's Day? I'd hate that. I guess but still. I do appreciate it. It's nice not to have to wage a one cool person war against the ips. :D ♥NiciVampireHeart01:43, 3 April 2010 (UTC)

<---Well, I was actually trying to keep the phrase "Black Light attack" in the section, but I couldn't do it. It sounded too awkward, so I reworded. Hmm, I'd say "Liz with the body paint, which was revealed by Jack using black light" or something similar. I'd say it will help. It's kind of hard to miss an edit notice really. Yep, "Thwagga" as he calls himself (Ok, I know he has a lisp and it's not fair to make fun of him for it, but I'm going to do it anyway) cashed in his MitB on Jericho. Oh, I don't know, Jericho's been awesome as a mentor on NXT - especially when making fun of Cole. :D WWE's really pushing the suprise title changes aren't they? First Sheamus (YAY! Irish guy) and now Thwagga. Wow, Randy's all grown up. *Sniff* No more smoking pot backstage or trashing hotel rooms. I like that analogy just 'cause I get to be HBK. :) Anyway, I menat to say I saw a request for a photo on Mitch's GA review, and I did a flickr search and got nada. Nothing something I can crop - they're all too blurry, or he's not in the photo, or he's in the photo but blocked and I can only get shot of his shoulder or something. Kind of annoying. ♥NiciVampireHeart02:24, 3 April 2010 (UTC)

Cool. I reckon if you bold the "don't leave me a message regarding the article I reviewed" part of it, it'll work better though. More eye-catching. Yea, but Cody's isn't as bad. Plus Cody's cuter. :D You know it's true. :P Yea, he is. It's part of his gimmick that he's the best mentor, with the best rookie, etc. It's awesome though to hear him slag off Cole. :D He really annoys me, and not just 'cause he keeps slagging Danielson. OMG. You did not say that. :P No, I agree actually. Curse of being ginger I suppose. He has to keep white. Or else he'd be red from sunburn, and that's not a good look either. A very, very good looking man. You know, I was watching one of the old ppvs from 2006 or so, and wow, has Randy slimmed down since then. He really looks good compared to back then. Ya, ya. You're welcome. You seemed to have everythiong else under control, so I tried to contribute just a little. ♥NiciVampireHeart02:43, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
yes, much more striking. :) Yea, but poor ole Thwagga can't. He's getting really good heat with his gimmick though, so I doubt they're going to change it anytime soon. Yea, Randy looks more sleek now or something. Streamlined. Still bloody gorgeous though. Hmmm, I;, not overly sure about the tattoos actually. If he gets anymore I'll be upset. I really liked his old ones, and now he just has the sleeve tats, and I'm a bit iffy on them. Anyway, I've gotten some of the concerns at Mitchell and left response on the GA review page. Hope I helped. :) Are you going to watch ROH The Big Bang! tonight? ♥NiciVampireHeart15:28, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
*sheepishly creeps in* I forgot to respond again didn't I? I'm sorry, it's bloody ROH. They've updated their official website and I've been trying to fix the urls. Exactly, exactly. No, I didn't give myself credit. Should I have? It's no problem, once I figured out what the reviewer wanted, it was easy enough. I'm really pleased that this elimination backlog drive thing is on at WP:GAN. I reckon Mikey'll get reviewed soon. :) Nah, I meant on gofightlive.tv. It was brilliant. :D Got to hand it to ROH, their ppvs are ridiculously goof value for money. $15, 4 hours, 8 matches: 5 good, 2 great, and only 1 that was crap. Bloody brilliant. I love ROH. Even if they won't give the belt back to possibly the greatest man who ever lived, like they should. ♥NiciVampireHeart09:40, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
Well, now I feel bad. Again. Alright, I'll give myself credit. Well, I keep looking at articles and going "I'll review that tomorrow if I get time", but by the time I find time, they've already been reviewed or are marked under review. It's quite annoying. Yep, bloody fantastic. Thank you. I got the article semi-ed for a week, so hopefully that'll help. Plus my point on the talk page that wwe.com called it "his father's Million Dollar Championship". Oh, really? He is. That's why he calls himself "possibly the greatest man who ever lived". :) Awesome wrestler, awesome talker, funny and pretty damn cute. What's not to like? ♥NiciVampireHeart23:00, 8 April 2010 (UTC)

This article is generally good. Some points of contention exist, and I have placed the article on seven-day hold to allow them to be addressed. Good luck with improving the article. Nosleep (Talk · Contribs) 06:23, 21 March 2010 (UTC)

April 2010 GAN backlog elimination drive

WikiProject Good Articles will be running a GAN backlog elimination drive for the entire month of April. The goal of this drive is to bring the number of outstanding Good Article nominations down to below 200. This will help editors in restoring confidence to the GAN process as well as actively improving, polishing, and rewarding good content. If you are interested in participating in the drive, please place your name here. Awards will be given out to those who review certain numbers of GANs as well as to those who review the most. Hope we can see you in April.

Pitt

Hey, I just checked my watchlist to find that Pitt is FA! I think this is well earned:

The Resilient Barnstar
For your fabulous efforts in getting Brad Pitt to FA and responding well to criticism, using it to make the article even better. You are truly an asset to the encyclopaedia! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 12:53, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

Any idea what you'll be doing next? More FAs or something a little less stressful? If you need a copyedit, I'm all yours! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 12:53, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

You're more than welcome. You deserve some recognition for all the work you've put into it! Saying that, the FAC was relatively painless. I was expecting it to be the most gruelling thing since my RfA. Ah well, when I'm feeling masochistic, I'll just have to stand again! It can't be a bad thing to have to add more stuff to your articles- hopefully it'll improve the quality of FAs overall and the better the article, the easier its FAC should be. Best, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 19:45, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
Well thank you, I'm flattered. Honestly. Do let me know when you're ready to take any of them to FAC (or if you just need a hand). I'll be more than happy to do what I can. I must say I disagree with the way Tony makes his points, but the points are almost always valid from what I've seen and he's done a lot of good work. It's never easy having your work criticised, but if you don't take the bait and address the concerns, the worst that can happen is that you improve the article! Tina Fey image

Yes, it's been awhile, I wanted to congratulate you on the Brad Pitt article, those were quite the extensive nominations to get it passed! For the image, if you know that's her husband (you have other images you can point to), then there's no reason not to make an attempt to secure a free license for it. Although it's not the best angle, it's definitely better than nothing. However, Fey doesn't look too flattering in that image compared to some of other images in the set. I would instead focus on getting another image of just Fey and keep an eye out for a better image of the pair. --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talkcontrib) 00:46, 30 March 2010 (UTC)

I'm kind of impartial to which angle they look at, although it did seem that the majority of images were facing to the left. Of course, after uploading hundreds of images, the celebrities starting looking all kind of directions including facing the camera (for example, I just revised my image permission page and you can see a brief view of the many different angles). I'm looking forward to Date Night and hope that we find some premiere images of the two actors (I've only been able to upload some subpar images of Carell so far, although it's good to see that somebody got a better one of him). --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talkcontrib) 01:28, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, it'd be great if I was the one that actually took those pictures. Fortunately many people like Wikipedia enough to release them. I asked that author earlier this week for permission of her Christoph Waltz image, and she allowed us to use it. Hopefully she's willing to allow the use of the Fey image as well. --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talkcontrib) 01:52, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
Wikipedia will take what it can get, but fortunately we are getting better images. When I first started asking for images, they were mostly blurry, candid, and taken with fans which required irregular cropping. Fortunately, as I got more and more permissions, better images came along, and now that people get to see the quality images that other authors are using, they're more receptive to contributing. Unfortunately, this took years to accomplish... I'll keep an eye out for Tina Fey images as well. I've never noticed that scar below her lip before, but it's quite prominent in the images you linked to. I'll have to look for it during 30 Rock tonight. --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talkcontrib) 01:36, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
I can't wait for the Damon cameo, although I'm not that big a fan of the show (say compared to The Office or Community in NBC's lineup). I thought that was interesting that she has a scar like that, since I have a similar one on my cheek (a rooster at three years old, still shows up almost twenty years later). I hope the author lets you use the image. --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talkcontrib) 03:49, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
That's the great thing about the NBC comedy shows, at least one of them has to appeal to somebody. Unfortunately there's been reruns last week and this week, so that's a bummer. The rooster scratch happened while visiting my grandfather's farm, fortunately I was so young that I don't have recurring nightmares. It does make for funny stories when people ask where it came from ("Oh this? Yeah, got it in the Great War/saving a bus full of kids/falling down stairs"). I just got permission for two images (Ken Jeong and Andy Samberg), but have to finalize details first. --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talkcontrib) 06:00, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
I saw the film tonight, and although it had some good moments, I probably would have enjoyed watching some more episodes of The Office and 30 Rock instead. I do hope that they work together again, but hopefully with a better script. You got to get that Fey image up, there's going to be a spike in page views this weekend. --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talkcontrib) 05:51, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
There were definitely some funny moments, especially with Carell's under-the-breath comments and faces, but I guess I just expected more with two such talented actors. It was definitely better than his Evan Almighty though. --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talkcontrib) 23:32, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
I got permission for an image with her and her husband, just waiting for the author to change the license. Hopefully I can add it to the article by this weekend. --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talkcontrib) 05:44, 17 April 2010 (UTC)

It looks like OTRS recently changed their approval process, and instead of accepting current approvals that I had pending, they instead want all of the authors to switch over the licenses themselves. This can be a hassle for some authors as I sometimes get permission for multiple images. I don't know why we would make it more complicated for the authors when we are fortunate enough that they are already allowing permission. I have to now contact a few editors and hope that they switch it over (and hopefully no images get deleted in the process). I'm glad that we got that Tina Fey image, I think it's a better pose then the one you had a week ago. Thank goodness for premieres! --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talkcontrib) 01:02, 19 April 2010 (UTC)

Yep, it looks like you now must try and top my image of Fey and Richard, good luck! Because of its quality, I was doubtful the author would say yes, but he was actually very happy to be asked. I have maybe six or seven images that I have to get fixed, while also changing my process for requesting images. I'll probably cut back for a while until all of these are resolved (I've already got a list of at least 20 potential candidates for various images). Best wishes on Fey's page, it would be great to see that featured. --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talkcontrib) 01:43, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
I figured you were already looking for one of her by herself, so I would try and get the one of the couple. That will hopefully be helpful for supporting the personal life section for a while. There are so many great actor/actresses out there, and it would be great to one day see many more of them featured. I commend you for helping them reach that level, getting them up to GA (and maintaining them) is enough effort for me. As always, if you want me to keep an eye out for an image of a particular person let me know. --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talkcontrib) 02:33, 19 April 2010 (UTC)

Can I ask a favour?

Hey! I'm in the middle of a GA review and I could use a little help. The article failed its last GAN and it came to my attention at WT:GAN when the new reviewer disappeared so I took it over and now I find myself disagreeing with the article's primary contributor. Not wishing to prejudice you, but I'm inclined to fail it on 3a (addresses the main aspects) due to the lack of any information on their personal lives (ie other than their careers) but I'd really appreciate your input before I make up my mind. Cheers, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 15:37, 30 March 2010 (UTC)

Oh dear! If anyone asks, I didn't forget, I meant to do that! It's Napoleon and Tabitha D'umo and the review's at Talk:Napoleon and Tabitha D'umo/GA2! Cheers, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 17:46, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
I'll make a note on GAN. All I really need is to know if I'm being too strict or if that really should be in there for the article to make GA. Thanks, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 18:29, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for that. I hadn't got into the nitty gritty yet because that's fairly easy to fix, but I appreciate you raising it. I'll see what comes of it but with 400-odd GANs waiting and the backlog elimination drive starting on the 1st, I'm not inclined to leave it on hold indefinitely. The editor has only made 3 edits to the article since I took over and only one was attempting to address the review but we'll see! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 19:58, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
I changed my mind. I had a look at the previous review and saw it was basically the same thing- various concerns, including comprehensiveness and little to no effort to address them followed by a knee-jerk renomination. I've failed it. That's the first GAN I've ever failed (1 in 30, not too bad really!) but I don't think any improvement would come from leaving it for longer and I'd rather focus my attention on one of the other GANs I have open. For example, I've got a relatively new nominator at Talk:Avril Lavigne/GA1 with probably more work ahead of him to bring the article up to GA, but I can see he's actually addressing my concerns so I suppose I have more patience. Thanks for your help! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 20:41, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
Cheers. I have a tendency to pick up GANs that are going to be high-maintenance (it started by accident, but now I quite like it!) so I guess it was going to happen sooner or later. I know the previous reviewer and he raised some very valid concerns, almost none of which were addressed. As of now, there are 396 GANs waiting for a review and I think my time would be better spent there. It's a shame really, since I don't think it's that far off- I've reviewed much worse articles that have made it- but it's up to the nominator. Btw, if you have time, would you mind reviewing Lindsay Lohan for me? You shouldn't feel obliged to, but I'd like to spend pretty much all of April on the backlog drive (not just for that 40 review medal!) and she'd be one less thing to worry about. thanks again for your help on "Nappytabs" (btw, is it me or is that a really weird name?) it's appreciated! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 21:06, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
I'm glad it's not just me! It has a totally different meaning this side of the Atlantic so I thought it was a joke when I first read it! I don't mind waiting. It's getting late anyway (at least that's my excuse!). Btw, I promise I do work on articles that aren't about pretty actresses (sometimes!), contrary to what you might have seen! Well, as we're told "the real winner here is Wikipedia" (and as my flatmate told me "you can't buy bread with barnstars"!) but it would be great to get that bloody backlog down. Hmm, French footabller (sorry, "soccer" player! :P) and Canadian hockey player. Interesting combination! Saying that, I've got Avril and BBC News on atm and, having just seen there's a goat waiting for a review, I'm going to have to do that so I can list on GA on April fool's! We're half way through round two, and everything is running smoothly. Pennsylvania Hunter Kahn (submissions) leads overall with 650 points this round, and heads pool B. New Orleans TonyTheTiger (submissions) currently leads pool C, dubbed the "Group of Death", which has a only a single contestant yet to score this round (the fewest of any group), as well five contestants over 100 points (the most). With a month still to go, as well as 16 wildcard places, everything is still to play for. Anything you worry may not receive the necessary attention before the end of the round (such as outstanding GA or FA nominations) is welcome at Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews, and please remember to continue offering reviews yourself where possible. As always, the judges are available to contact via email, IRC or their talk pages, and general discussion about the Cup is welcome on the WikiCup talk page.

Although unrelated to the WikiCup, April sees a Good Article Nominations backlog elimination drive, formulated as a friendly competition with small awards, as the Cup is. Several WikiCup contestants and judges have already signed up, but regular reviewers and those who hope to do more reviewing are more than welcome to join at the drive page. Hawke

Hi Blue. Congrats on the Pitt FA bid. I can't believe you get it passed. The scrutiny for such a huge star must be, well, huge, :p

I just found out Hawke is a co-founder and sponsor of the New York Public Library Young Lions Fiction Award. I want to add this to Hawke's personal life, but I'm not sure which ref to use. I found three sources so far. official site, Salon.com and Vanity Fair.

Also, I added a supporting source to confirm that "his wife is his kids' former nanny", since the current source only said "Ryan... reportedly worked as a nanny for his two children". I remember Hawke confirmed it in a Guardian interview cited in the article, so I added it as a supporting source. Cheers. --Artoasis (talk) 12:33, 5 April 2010 (UTC)

Gangrel

I'm working on the article now. Since you work on bios more than I do. Do you think you could take care of the In Wrestling section for me? I'm just totally blank on how to source that sucker. If I do it, there will only be about 3 moves. Here is the link if you want too: Gangrel.--WillC 02:48, 6 April 2010 (UTC)

Thanks, the article should be ready for GAN here in a few days. Then we'll lack E&C, and maybe The Brood.--WillC 03:42, 7 April 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, getting older sucks. So much stress and gaining problems. Too complicated to say. Mainly it is taking The Joker, Law Abiding Citizen, Charles Manson's mind, and the Anti-Christ, and throwing it all in a bowl and sturing. I came up with it about a year ago while talking to Bulletproof on MSN one night. It is called Anarchy and will be about the end of the world. I got a few articles that should get me some points in the cup. I don't really care if I continue or get eliminated. I got too much stuff to do. Yeah, she has some great eyes. Crazy user constantly editing my talk page!

Hello. You're the only moderator on here I could visibly connect with.

Anyway, there's a crazy English user who goes under the name of Snaisybelle. She is a member of Encyclopedia Dramatica, a rather tasteless website I've been having issues with. On there, Snaisybelle posted a re-written summary of my ED article, which had been added 2 years earlier in January of 2008.

Whenever she puts something on my Wikipedia chat page, I have to sign in to take it out, only for her to add it back in later using the older edit logs. Please protect my talk page, as this is actually very annoying. If you cannot do this, perhaps you could warn the member in question. I'm unsure of how to contact the police in London where she lives, as the ED article she wrote about me seems to be hosted on a private server.45g (talk) 07:35, 22 April 2010 (UTC)

Before taking any action, I suggest that you take a look at the other side of the conflict. Please see Wikipedia:Wikiquette_alerts#45g.2C_Michaeldsuarez.2C_and_Snaisybelle for details. I'm currently in the process of revolving this conflict without drastic measures. --Michaeldsuarez (talk) 14:57, 22 April 2010 (UTC)

GAN backlog elimination drive - 1 week to go

First off, on behalf of myself and my co-coordinator Wizardman, I would like to thank you for the efforts that you have made so far in this GAN backlog elimination drive. It has been nothing short of a success, and that is thanks to you. See this Signpost article about what this drive has achieved so far.

We're currently heading into the final week of the drive. At this time, if you have any GANs on review or on hold, you should be finishing off those reviews. Right now, we have more GANs on review or on hold than we do unreviewed. If you're going to start a GA review, please do so now so you can complete it by the end of the month and so that the nominator has a full 7-day window to address any concerns.

See you at the finish!

Matt Damon

Hey ThinkBlue, I was thinking of expanding the career section in Damon's article by adding some quotes about his most notable performances, which would inevitably require some reorganization of the writing already present in the section. Given that Damon gains such good reviews, it seems sort of incomplete to summarize his work without including some more critical praise. What do you think? Hutch y2k (talk) 20:36, 23 April 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, of course - I will include some negative critical reviews that he gained in the career slump he had before the bourne series came along. Just wanted to check in with you since you seemed to have contributed the most to the article. And, of course, you and others can always improve/edit/add to whatever I end up putting in, which isn't going to be comprehensive since I'm already working on another article in a major way, but just some stuff that enhances the section. Thanks! Hutch y2k (talk) 20:49, 23 April 2010 (UTC)

"Believe in the Stars" is classic! The revelation that Oprah was really that girl "Pam" was hilarious. Well, Jamie and I were going solid and getting the articles to GA, but then our lives kinda got busy and then we both stopped writing articles. What I meant was, is it just you writing the articles now? Oh, and I haven't been able to watch the fourth season. Australian TV is the worst! lol. Corn.u.co.piaDisc.us.sion 16:42, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
Well I don't know exactly when we'll get it, but even when we do, they'll air it at around 11:30 so I don't see the point in waiting. Usually I'll just get my friend to download the whole season for me. :) Anyway, as I was stalking your user page, I saw you are female? LOL I have totally been thinking that you're a guy this whole time (wait, that doesn't sound right). I guess your username was what mislead me. Not that it makes a difference, of course :P Corn.u.co.piaDisc.us.sion 10:26, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
Haha I thought as much. Well "ThinkPink" would certainly clear that up, but that would totally ruin the whole meaning of your name....so yeah lol. And I guess your liking of wrestling has something to do with it. Are you a big fan? Honestly I hate it lol but occasionally I watch it for a laugh. Corn.u.co.piaDisc.us.sion 05:26, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
And only just over one month ago! I can only imagine how you must feel. ;) Just wondering, what made Michaels your favourite? Corn.u.co.piaDisc.us.sion 09:41, 8 May 2010 (UTC)

Hey, do you have much experience with images? I was just wondering, if a celebrity posts a random picture on their twitter, can we upload it? I'm guessing it's not copyrighted, so... Corn.u.co.piaDisc.us.sion 05:06, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

Congrats to you too! Well be careful, anyway, going after a married man never ends well... :P Do you know any other users that are really experienced with pictures? I'm guessing I can't use the Twitter images, but if I could, that would really be great. Corn.u.co.piaDisc.us.sion 15:12, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
Haha, of course. Thanks for the reference, I'll definitely give him a try. And I'll talk to you later, it's 1:26 here aka way past my bedtime lol. Corn.u.co.piaDisc.us.sion 15:26, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

WikiCup 2010 April newsletter

Round two is over, and we are down to our final 32. For anyone interested in the final standings (though not arranged by group) this page has been compiled. Congratulations to Pennsylvania Hunter Kahn (submissions), our clear overall round winner, and to Colombia ThinkBlue (submissions) and Norway Arsenikk (submissions), who were solidly second and third respectively. There were a good number of high scorers this round- competition was certainly tough! Round three begins tomorrow, but anything promoted after the end of round two is eligible for points. 16 contestants (eight pool leaders and eight wildcards) will progress to round four in two months- things are really starting to get competitive.

Judge iMatthew has retired from Wikipedia, and we wish him the best. The competition has been ticking over well with minimal need for judge intervention, so thank you to everyone making that possible. A special thank you goes to participants Bavaria Stone (submissions) and White Shadows (submissions) for their help in preparing for round three. Good luck everyone! If you wish to start receiving or stop receiving this newsletter, please feel free to add or remove yourself from Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send. Hey

How are ya? Good work on Pitt- it's great that you keep working on it even after it made FA :). All too often people get an article up to scratch and then abandon it. Btw, Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/HJ Mitchell 2 might be of interest ;). Best, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 18:35, 30 April 2010 (UTC)

Nice to hear from you. :) Not bad, not bad. On-wiki I've just been wiki-gnoming really for the last week or so- I don't want to get into anything too heavy while my RfAs on. I wrote 2010 London Marathon though and I'm working on and off on Lindsay Lohan discography but I'm struggling to find sources for it. Indeed, it's one of those articles that people love to add shit to and then find another beautiful article to trash! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 18:52, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
Why, was there something you needed? The RfA finishes in 15 hours so I'll probably be willing to take on something more chewy then. Discographies aren't my thing but I stumbled across that one while I was working on Lohan and thought I'd polish it up a little. I couldn't tell you why people trash other peoples' hard work. Some are at least trying to help, but I have a whole load of BLPs on my watchlist and you should see the crap people add to some of them- you have to wonder what the Subway guy did to deserve the abuse he gets! Evidently some people have nothing better to do! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 20:03, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
Anything in particular you want reviewed? If you've got one that I can pass before midnight UTC to get my total up to 20, that'd be great! I'm the third most prolific editor to Fogle and every single edit I've made was a revert! We ought to be able to block these idiots on sight but alas we have to give them a warning first! Better still, IP editing would be banned but hell will freeze over before before that becomes policy! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 20:20, 30 April 2010 (UTC)

Legacy

do you think all members should be in "Former Members" now that they're no longer together?.. just asking, thanks :)

About Reality Bites

I just saw the edit by the IP user, then I checked the box office of Reality Bites. Surprisingly, it did triple its budget according to wiki. They've cited their source, but the ref is uncheckable now. What do you think? Should we remove that sentence in the Hawke article? --Artoasis (talk) 05:05, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

Well, it did make its budget back in the States, so it's not exactly a "flop", I guess. How about we call it a "box office disappointment", since it's certainly not a big success? --Artoasis (talk) 04:56, 4 May 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for your participation in the April 2010 GAN backlog elimination drive

GAN backlog elimination drives chart up to 1 May

On behalf of my co-coordinator Wizardman, I'd like to especially thank you for your efforts over this past month's GAN backlog elimination drive. It has been nothing short of a complete success, which hopefully results in more expedient good article reviews, increasing users' confidence in the good article nomination processes. Even if you made just a small contribution, it still helped contribute to the success of this drive. Here is what we have accomplished this last month in this drive.

  • 661 total nominations were reviewed. 541 of them passed (~81.8%), 97 (~14.7%) failed, and 23 (~3.5%) ended on hold.
  • The WP:GAN page started at 110,126 bytes length on 1 April and ended at 43,387 bytes length at the end of 30 April (a 66,739 byte reduction in the page, about 60.6% less).
  • Excluding extremes, the longest wait for someone's GAN to be review was about 11.5 weeks at the beginning. (I mistook the figure when I reported to the Signpost that it was 13.) At the end, with the exception of one that was relisted, the longest wait is now at 10 days.
  • 63 different users participated, each having completed at least one GAN, with others also having helped out behind-the-scenes in making the drive a success.
  • The drive started with 463 GA nominations remaining and 388 unreviewed. At the end of the month, we ended with 89 remaining (374 or about 80.8% less) and 47 unreviewed (341 or about 87.9% less).

For those who have accomplished certain objectives in the drive, awards will be coming shortly. Again, thank you for your help in the drive, and I hope you continue to help review GA nominations and overall improve the quality of articles here on Wikipedia.

Cake and beer

Yes, I am too nice. :D

I realise I'm late with this, but happy birthday! :) First things, thank you for the help with Brendli's GA review, and of course I don't mind that you created the GTC page. No point in hanging around. I am sorry again, recurring theme now for the delay, but I'm back in school now and life is frantic to say the least. It'll better after June 24. More exactly June 25/26, whenever my hangover wears off. :P Well, in my absence WWE updated DiBiase's bio and he is the Million Dollar Champion now apparently. Meh. I don't like it. He needs his own identity - ripping off his father isn't going to get him anywhere in the long run. *rolls eyes* Anyway, how've you been? Need help with anything? I promise to try and get to it in the next month. :P ♥NiciVampireHeart01:59, 18 April 2010 (UTC)

I realise it took me forever, but done and done. Don't forget to make sure that I used your bloody American spelling. :D Hey, SS got promoted. Congrats to us. Dude, I just looked at your submission page for the WikiCup, and now I feel supremely inferior. That's a staggering amount of GAs. Hmmm, wish I could get surburned - it's raining over here. Hope you're feeling better anyway. I'm not too bad, but my sister gave me food poisoning, so I've been out of school a while. Hence the loads of edits over the past week or so. What'd you think of the draft? Here's hoping Cody comes back to tv now he's on SmackDown. ♥NiciVampireHeart21:13, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
I know, I know. I decided that I wouldn't respond to ya 'til I'd done the alt text, and it took me forever to get my ass in gear to actually do the alt text, so... I'm not pissed off with ya, promise. We cool. :) I hope, though I wouldn't blame ya for being pissed off with my slowness. It's seriously impressive - over 1000 points from GAs alone? Wish I could do that. I reckon I'm through to the next round anyway though, but it's not gonna do a whole lotta good, considering my exams are on during the next round and all I'll be doing is studying. OH MY GOD. You did not just compare my oh so freaking awesome country to Englang. </joke> Yes, it rains a lot - it's why we're so green - hence, Emerald Isle. Or so I'm told. SD got fairly screwed in the main draft - they lost Jericho, Edge, Morrison, and R-Truth, and gained Kelly Kelly, Big Show, Kofi Kingston, and Christian. They lost most of their main-eventers, and got a Diva, an overweight and overrated Big Show, a mid-carder, and a fairly brilliant wrestler who Vince doesn't like since he went to TNA. Not a fair deal. Nothing interesting happened in the Supplemental Draft either, except for Cody being drafted. SD main eventers now: Punk, Mysterio, Undertaker, possibly Kane and Christian. Raw: Cena, Orton, Batista, Triple H, Edge, Jericho, Sheamus, possible Morrison if they finally push him. Bit of a discrepancy huh? ♥NiciVampireHeart12:34, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
I suspect Staxringold is male. Wonder what gave me that idea. :D Oh, yea, you know we cool. Actually, if my calculations are correct, you came second in round 2 s- you beat a lot more than just the guys in your group. :) I'm trying to work on some articles now, in the hopes that a couple of GAs and a DYK or two will get me through. If I get through this round, and into the July/August one I'll be coasting. Plenty of free time then. Oh you were in England? Where abouts? London probably. Scotland's a lovely place actually, Edinburgh's one of my favourite places in the world. Yea, it was totally suprising about 2/3 weeks ago actually, we had sun! In April! It was amazing. The newspapers were full of it - there were photos of people sunbathing and stuff, when it was only about 15/20 degrees (celsius). That's probably freezing to you. :P Looks like 'Taker, Punk, Swagger, and Big Show will be the "faces" of SD so to speak. SD is the brand for all the up-and-comers to make their name really. Or that's how it seems - shame Evan Bourne was drafted to SD, I hate seeing him job. :( He was fucking awesome in the indy's as Sydal. Christian went to TNA, so Vince doesn't like him, hence why he was put on ECW, instead of one of the main brands when he came back. Sheamus on SD = bad idea. He fits much better on Raw - the show for all the musclebound idiots, i.e. HHH, Cena, Batista, etc. Though I heard Batista's leaving next month. Here's hoping so! Yea, I heard that too - it's going to be interresting to see if he returns actually, neck injuries are pretty serious, and he's getting old in wrestling terms. Yea, but we all know SD would be completely buried. ♥NiciVampireHeart08:38, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
It was well done. :D I must say, I'm very pleased I'm not in your group this round. :P Thank you, thank you. I got nervous that I wouldn't get through that round of the cup, so I churned out Torres - she was pretty close to GA anyway, and I'm the main contributor. Don't think I actually needed her, but ah, well. Saves me having to do it in the future. Never expect sun in England/Ireland/Scotland/Wales. You won't get it. It's why Sheamus is so white y'know. Like the rest of the Irish, he burns easily in the sun - can't believe he lives in Florida! :) That amused me so much when I first heard it. And he has it worse than a lot of Irish people 'cause he's ginger. Unfortunate really. Nah, I think Sheamus is a much better fit on Raw than SD. I watched SD last night, and I was just like "this is awful". I'm not a big fan of Kingston (he's way, way overrated) and MVP sucks as a face, and these seem to be the two theywent to get up into main event straight away. Great.</sarcasm> I reckon 'Taker (when he gets back), Punk, Mysterio, and hopefully Christian will be the ones carrying the brand. No, Bourne didn't get drafted, I was attempting to say that I wanted him to be, and I left out the "not". *rolls eyes* He'd be much better on SD I think - might even get a push. Yea, the taping thing was quite good. I'm not giving him credit for it though - I'll give the credit to the creative team. :D Hey, Miz is awesome. I won't argue the idiot thing though. :P Did you see him on NXT after he got sucker-punched on Raw? Absolutel hiliarious, they overdsold it so bad. Make-up looked pretty impressive though. Here, check it out (about 1 min in). *fingers crossed* It's possible that he wants to spend time with her, but it's kind of an odd time. She's only about 4/5 months pregnant I think, you'd imagine he'd want time off just before and after she gives birth. Bet he's hoping for a boy this time. ♥NiciVampireHeart06:30, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
Well, I wasn't sure that it'd be promoted before the round ended. Actually, it would have been nice to have those points for this round - to take some of the heat off. Hmmm, I hadn't noticed that before. Go me! :P Yep, hilarious isn't it? He must using some freaking stong sun block. Well, he doesn't come up with the storylines. *sighs* I can't believe that I feel the need to defend Sheamus, when I'm not that big of a fan of his either. It's the patriot in me. Oh, absolutely. Nah, I typed it wrong. It was my bad. Miz is totally awesome. Did you see Raw? I didn't but somebody said something about Miz and Jericho forming a team or something? Now that would be really awesome. Oh, that's a good point. Plus the fact she's probably still working for another month or two. I reckon so. ♥NiciVampireHeart10:26, 4 May 2010 (UTC)

<--Exactly, exactly. He must be. Hmmm, I might look it up on youtube. A rated-RKO reunion would be pretty cool. But Randy's face now, so I don't see it happening. I like having heel Edge back though - I don't like him as a heel. I don't know - I can't remember that far back in wrestling. :P No, I really wouldn't. Considering that I'm the main contributor on Smith, Nattie and Wilson's articles? Hells yea. I was actually thinking we should start planning out next topic. Great Cool minds think alike. ♥NiciVampireHeart12:03, 5 May 2010 (UTC)

I did look it up on youtube, pretty good segment. Really nice RKO. Yep, it was supposed to be face. My bad. Oh, yea, I remember that! It was pretty funny. Wow, I'd forgotten that. Hmmm, there's a proposal to split The Hart Dynasty from The Hart Foundation at WT:PW#Split "The Hart Dynasty" from The Hart Foundation. Nothing's been done about it yet, but they forget about it, we can split it out ourselves. That would leave us with the tag team article, Natalya, Wilson, Smith and Vret Hart, since he's been accompanying them to the ring. Bret'll be a lot of work. Do you have his autobiography by any chance? That'd be really helpful. I tried to get it over here, but couldn't. If you don't wanna, check out User:NiciVampireHeart/Sandbox#Topics. I made a list. See if there's any you like better (I'm already working on the New Breed one). Absolutely. :D ♥NiciVampireHeart13:26, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
Well said. I know - Bret being involved with the Hart Dynasty makes it a lot, lot harder to reach GT with. I don't mind postponing it. I'm good with Team ECK or The Colons - we did discuss that didn't we? I wonder why we never got around to it. No, no, I want you to pick. It seems like we always do GTs that I want to do, or that I've contributed loads to already. Your turn. Your wish is my command on this one. ♥NiciVampireHeart20:16, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
I'm so sorry (again). Your comment got hidden in my talk page history by other comments after yours, and I didn't notice it 'til I was archiving my talk page. I'm not avoiding you honestly. Yes, it really did. And then he went and beat the Awesome One for the US title. Not impressed at all. >:| In fairness, there are a lot of our past threads to go over. :P No, I want you to decide - I'm cool either way. Yep, we discuss them, but it always seems to be projects that I've already worked extensively on. Btw, I noticed you've hit over 1,000 edits to Shawn Michaels. That's crazy - and totally deserves this:
The Tireless Contributor Barnstar

Any chance of getting a GAN review of 1999 National League Wild Card tie-breaker game out of you? :) It's been idling for a long time now. Staxringold talkcontribs 18:08, 29 May 2010 (UTC)

  • I only think it needs adding if the source speaks to that real-world situation impacting the episode (like Fey wrote it because of that situation). If so, in the production section. It looks good to go, let me just add a screenshot. Staxringold talkcontribs 01:17, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
  • Watching the episode again I just noticed Alda makes the comment "A man crying about a baby and a chicken? I thought this was a comedy show!" when he sees Tracy admitting the truth to Kenneth about why he never finished school. I would note, particularly if you can find a source, the connection to the plot of the MASH finale Goodbye, Farewell and Amen (where Alda's character, Hawkeye, breaks down after realizing he had seen a woman smother her baby to death to stay hidden from the VC, not a chicken as Hawkeye had originally remembered in his repressed mind). Particularly since you mention Alda's most famous role. Staxringold talkcontribs 01:37, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
  • Yeah. I'm just afraid that once we've got 4 seasonal FTs plus the Seasons of 30 Rock FT we'll have way too many Tina Fey/30 Rock building images on the FT page. :) Also, not to be too forward, but I see you've passed the Parise and Paralympic Games GANs so *poke*. :) Still no rush tho, just a reminder. WikiCup 2010 May newsletter

We are half way through round 3, with a little under a month to go. The current overall leader is Hungary Sasata (submissions), who has 570 points. He leads pool C. Pools A, B and D are led by Pennsylvania Hunter Kahn (submissions), Colorado Sturmvogel_66 (submissions) and White Shadows (submissions) respectively. Anything you worry may not receive the necessary attention before the end of the round (such as outstanding GA or FA nominations) is welcome at Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews, and please remember to continue offering reviews yourself where possible. Two of last year's final 8, Sweden Theleftorium (submissions) and Iceland Scorpion0422 (submissions), have dropped out of the competition, saying they would rather their place went to someone who will have more time on their hands than them next round. On a related note, a special thank you goes to White Shadows (submissions) for his help behind the scenes once again. There is currently a problem with the poster, perhaps caused by the new skin- take a look at this discussion and see if you can help. Re: Your revert to content addition to Liv Tyler

Say I see you have reverted my addition to the Liv Tyler article, with the edit summary that it doesn't belong in the lede. I don't agree that it doesn't, but I will happily add it to the personal section instead. However, I submit that the material about her marriage should go into the personal section as well in that case. Your thoughts? Jusdafax 15:22, 2 June 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, that comment doesn't belong in the lead, that's why I moved it to the Personal life section; I removed it from the lead, but not from the article. The lead is supposed to summarize the entire article, in case you didn't know. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 15:24, 2 June 2010 (UTC) (NOTE:Your comment on my talkpage reprinted here for reading convenience.)
Well... After 40 k Wikipedia edits think I have a rough idea about the lede/lead ;). I'll use your spelling for lead, some prefer 'lede'.
I do notice now that you moved most of the brief material I added (which, in my defense, is not a "comment" but sourced biographic material) into the personal section, though you deleted "still-single", which in my view adds more context. In brief, I think this wording reads better: "Tyler married musician Royston Langdon of the band Spacehog in 2003; they have one son, Milo, born December 14, 2004. The couple announced their separation in May 2008; in June 2010 the still-single Tyler stated she was "far too sensitive" for casual dates, adding "I fall in love once in a blue moon."
Your current edit is: "In an interview with The Daily Telegraph, Tyler revealed that her separation from Langdon led her to move to Los Angeles, explaining that it was hard to be in the New York home they shared. In June 2010, Tyler stated she was "far too sensitive" for casual dates, adding "I fall in love once in a blue moon." " ...I think you need that "still-single" wording you have removed. And the wording now seems a bit disjointed - my half-sentence addition was designed to follow after the semi-colon that divided it from the previous "The couple announced their separation in May 2008." I think as it is now that the existing wording is a bit jarring as a way to end the lead.
Indeed, few things in Wikipedia content disputes provoke more heat, in my experience, than issues over the lead. Ultimately this is not too big a deal, but I take an interest in this particular case and I would value your further thoughts. I am aware of the article's GA status, and that you have been active in the process here. Thanks, Jusdafax 16:21, 2 June 2010 (UTC)

3RR notice

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Edge_(wrestler). Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. That the WWE was formerly known as the WWF is not a point that needs to be made twice or more in every article mentioning the organization, and certainly not in the lede of articles where the point has no particular relevance. Two editors have objected to your change; rather than edit warring, you should raise your point on the talk page and add the text back only if your view gains consensus. Hullaballoo Wolfowitz (talk) 18:54, 7 June 2010 (UTC)

I'm not doing anything wrong. If this was such a damn problem, why wasn't this raised before? Why now? That's what I'm having a hard time understanding. Funny, that "formerly the World Wrestling Federation (WWF)" is mentioned in other wresting bio article—yeah the lead—I don't understand why this one can't have it. Besides, if this was an issue, this would have been raised at the wrestling project not to include this, but it hasn't. Noting that the WWE was first known as the WWF isn't relevant to a bio wrestling article, with those who wrestled during the WWF? That doesn't make sense; how else is one going to understand this? If by not adding this, you mislead the reader. Currently, this sentence in Edge's article reads ---> "In 1997, Copeland signed a developmental deal with the WWF and began competing for the company the following year", if a non-wrestler reader reads this, they would be confused as to what the WWF stands for. That's why you have the "formerly the World Wrestling Federation (WWF)" to make sure that person knows what the WWF stands for. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 19:31, 7 June 2010 (UTC)

RE

Don't worry about it, I barely have enough time to reply on here, let alone get an article done at this time. Not talk to you? Why would I ever do that? You are a joy to talk to, I would have to be out of my mind to not communicate with you. I don't see a problem with it if the wrestler was around when it was the WWF or got the most of his fame there.--WillC 20:00, 7 June 2010 (UTC)

It is fine, it usually takes me forever to do stuff anyway. Well Edge got alot of his fame while it was the WWF, so that is justifiable. If it was for like John Morrison who never wrestled in the WWF, then I would see a reason to remove it.--WillC 20:15, 7 June 2010 (UTC)

Hanging out with my girl, school, and other stuff.--WillC 03:54, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
No worries I'm not on much anymore anyway. I watch here and there. Been hanging with my girl, I don't really watch wrestling at all anymore. I just don't care anymore. I got other stuff on my mind. Hopefully soon I can find a way to get everything in order so I have time to do stuff that once interested me. Though I'm upset Hogan is screwing up TNA though. They have something gold with AJ, Flair, etc. They just aren't doing it right. It should be AJ, Lethal, Wolfe, and Beer Money. The new Horsemen, etc. AJ should take the pretty job stuff Flair has and mix it with his wrestling talent. Alot like Flair, but no heelish stuff, besides feeling it is better. Lethal should take the heelish stuff. Wolfe should be like Anderson. Beer Money should just be Beer Money. They are already perfect. Flair should only be manger, and somewhat Godfatherish.--WillC 07:13, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, and plus the fact TNA had a wonderful group in the works but just didn't use it right. The TNA Frontline should have been AJ, Joe, Daniels, and AMW. That would have been wonderful. The Mafia was on the right track, though they should of had Jarrett replace Sting, had him lead the group. Now TNA are just like WCW. Hall and Nash should not be tag champs, they should be released. Beer Money, the guns, etc should be fighting over the belts. RVD should be fighting AJ or Joe, not Sting. Hogan should not be on tv as much as he is. The womens division is a joke now. They might as well be called the divas. The storylines are weird. Hogan hasn't done a single thing he said he was going to do yet. Hell, TNA needs a reboot. Have Heyman lead, Bischoff be production only. Hogan be a commentator. All these oldfucks need to find something else to do. Sting, Flair, Nash, Hall, etc should be managers if anything. AJ, RVD, Joe, etc..the somewhat young guys...should be taking up the tv time. As for WWE, I haven't cared in a while about their product. NXT was alright, now it has upset me with Low Ki being mentored by LayCool.--WillC 01:20, 16 June 2010 (UTC)

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

Eeeehhhhhhhhh, not much of it seems all that notable, does it? I'd at least dump the New Orleans attorney, and probably anyone who doesn't rate an article on Wikipedia. I mean, who are those people and why does a 12 year old date count as notable? Wildhartlivie (talk) 22:26, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

My pleasure. I just reverted a deletion by Hullaballoo Wolfowitz who removed a number of persons that Heath Ledger dated by saying "Wikipedia is not a compendium of dating histories or tabloid press reports". The problem was that none of the mentions were non-notable persons nor were they sourced by tabloids. I imagine he will kick a fuss, but I think the deletion was random and ended leaving only Michelle Williams and ignored everyone else in his life. Ah well. Wildhartlivie (talk) 22:41, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
Well, hopefully it won't. I haven't seen it on my watchlist and it's been 24 hours. So Heath got around, notable sources paid attention to it. We'll see. Wildhartlivie (talk) 23:02, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

New message

Hello ThinkBlue, my name is Rahul, and I came across your work on articles like Brad Pitt and Maggie Gyllenhaal, which I believe is really good :). For the past couple of months, I have been working on Kareena Kapoor's article in my sandbox. After a long and exhausting schedule of editing, I have finally managed to finish, and I am planning on nominating the article for a FAC. However, before doing so, I am looking for a couple of editors that can help me with copyediting the article. Would you be able to help me with this? I would greatly appreciate if you could. Regards -- Bollywood Dreamz talk 18:59, 24 June 2010 (UTC)

Well, as of now, three users have stated that they're currently busy and will look at the article in the coming days whilst the other two users are helping me with other things such as formatting, sources, etc. They will begin copyediting the article later on. So if you want, you can start now. (P.S. Thanks a lot for your help. I really appreciate it :)) -- Bollywood Dreamz talk 19:19, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
Hmm, I haven't taken on a copy edit for a while. Blue, I'm a little busy with a very important Army officer whose article is in an appalling state at the minute, but I'd be happy to cast my eye over it after you've finished. It's much easier to copy edit someone else's work than your own, isn't it! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 19:26, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
Hey... don't worry about it. Health comes first. You can take a look at the article tomorrow. :) Regards -- Bollywood Dreamz talk 03:00, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
The sandbox... (P.S. HJ Mitchell has also agreed to do the copyediting once you finish with it. Thanks :)) -- Bollywood Dreamz talk 17:10, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
I'm leaving this message to let you know that I won't be on-line now as I will leaving for work shortly. If you have any comments or concerns, leave me a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Regards -- Bollywood Dreamz talk 17:39, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
First of all, I would like to thank you for taking the time in editing the article. Second, many thanks for your kind words. I will implement the changes you pointed out. However, I only have one concern, which is about the lead. According to WP:Lead, "the lead should be able to stand alone as a concise overview of the article. It should define the topic, establish context, explain why the subject is interesting or notable, and summarize the most important points—including any notable controversies" - and that is what I'm done. I've included only "some" of her notable films and summarized the most important points. What do you suggest we remove/change it to? -- Bollywood Dreamz talk 01:07, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
Hello Ms. ThinkBlue. Since you have worked on biographies before, would you like to comment at Wikipedia:Peer review/Kareena Kapoor/archive2? Share your inputs on it please so that any discrepancies can be eliminated. Thanks -- Bollywood Dreamz talk 16:45, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

no hold here

I guarantee that if you go way, way back to an earlier submission for GA review, Americana you will not have to put it on hold like you did this morning with Susan Kennedy and that Family guy thing. I don't begrudge reviewers like yourself the right to review whatever articles you choose, but it is frustrating to have an article waiting for weeks while another gets reviewed 12 hours after submission (Buffy).--Ishtar456 (talk) 16:11, 29 June 2010 (UTC) PS, I apologize if this violates your request not to post about GA reviews here. --Ishtar456 (talk) 16:11, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

I got your message, and I have been trying to help out with the review process. I'm not 100% ready to do a review-at little unsure of myself. I just took a look at Kidney Now! and felt quite overwhelmed. I generally keep to giving second opinions. I extend my guarantee. I think Americana would be a quick pass, but thanks for your empathy.--Ishtar456 (talk) 16:29, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

WikiCup 2010 June newsletter

We're half way through 2010, and the end of the WikiCup is in sight! Round 3 is over, and we're down to our final 16. Our pool winners were Ian Rose (submissions) (A), Colorado Sturmvogel_66 (submissions) (B, and the round's overall leader), Colombia ThinkBlue (submissions) (C) New South Wales Casliber (submissions) and New Orleans TonyTheTiger (submissions) (D, joint), but, with the scores reset, everything is to play for in our last pooled round. The pools will be up before midnight tonight, and have been selected randomly by J Milburn. This will be the toughest round yet, and so, as ever, anything you worry may not receive the necessary attention before the end of the round (such as outstanding GA or FA nominations) is welcome at Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews, and please remember to continue offering reviews yourself where possible. As always, the judges are available to contact via email, IRC or their talk pages, and general discussion about the Cup is welcome on the WikiCup talk page.

Though unaffiliated with the WikiCup, July sees the third Great Wikipedia Dramaout- a project with not dissimilar goals to the WikiCup. Everyone is welcome to take part and do their bit to contribute to the encyclopedia itself.

If you're interested in the scores for the last round of the Cup, please take a look at Wikipedia:WikiCup/History/2010/Round 3 and Wikipedia:WikiCup/History/2010/Full/Round 3. Our thanks go to Bavaria Stone (submissions) for compiling these. As was predicted, Group C ended up the "Group of Death", with 670 points required for second place, and, therefore, automatic promotion. This round will probably be even tougher- again, the top two from each of the two groups will make it through, while the twelve remaining participants will compete for four wildcard places- good luck everyone! If you wish to start receiving or stop receiving this newsletter, please feel free to add or remove yourself from Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send. J Milburn, Fox and The ed17

Thank you

Hi, you changed the following line to read:

"His greatest commercial successes have been Troy (2004) and Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005). Pitt received his second Academy Award nomination for his title role performance in the 2008 film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button."

Your reason was consistency.

In doing so, you undid part of a change I had made, the result of which had been:

"His greatest commercial successes have been Troy (2004) and Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005). Pitt received his second Academy Award nomination for his title role performance in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008)."

I don't get how your change is "consistent," but I didn't want to undo it as a courtesy.--Bbb23 (talk) 23:42, 12 July 2010 (UTC)

This bouncing back and forth between two editors' talk pages drives me crazy. So, I'm quoting what you said on my talk page here to keep the conversation together:
First of all, there was a reason why this ---> "His greatest commercial successes have been 2004's Troy, and Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005). Pitt received his second Academy Award nomination for his title role performance in the 2008 film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" was there; there needs to be a consistency with having the year after the film and the year before the film, hence why I restored 2008 in front of Benjamin Button, and edit summary of having a consistency with it. You should be glad that it was the 2008 year that I restored. I'm surprise someone has a problem with this, during the article's two Featured article nominations no one seemed to bring this up.
I don't get how putting 2004 before Troy is consistent with putting 2005 after Mr. and Mrs. Smith. And just before the references to Troy and Smith, there are three references to films with the year after. So, I changed the minority to match the majority. As for your argument that no one brought it up, that's like when you call Customer Service to complain, and the representative says, "No one has ever complained about this before" instead of addressing the complaint itself. In this instance, one possible reason no one brought it up is it's not a very important thing, one way or the other. In that same vein, it's not worth getting into a battle about, so I'll leave it as is.--Bbb23 (talk) 23:23, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for making the changes, it's now passed as a GA. Sorry if I seem perpetually confused by the plotlines, it's quite hard to work out what's going on when you haven't seen it. I actually tried to watch the episode, or a bit of it, online but couldn't get it to work anywhere. Anyway that's probably the advantage of having someone look at the article who's not familiar with the show. Well done again.--BelovedFreak 17:49, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

The edit has potential but there were a few errors in it and I need your help putting it back to the pre-IP edit form while keeping the positive contributions that come with it. Hello old friend

Thought to say hello, it has been a while. Was wondering if you needed my help on anything? Also, to say I am deeply sorry for not completing Gangrel by this time. I am probably not worthy of forgiveness, so I just wanted to tell you I plan to try and earn a second chance by finishing Gangrel soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.--WillC 00:29, 21 July 2010 (UTC)

Just hanging out with my beautiful girlfriend watching Fight Club. Sure, I'll watch it. No, I understand, you are busy. You do more work than I do these days on here. Maybe we can get them both done and finally have that GT completed. Then maybe a quick update of The Brood and have another like we've planned. It would be nice to work with you again.--WillC 20:38, 21 July 2010 (UTC)
Okay, sure. Always the same old problems, too many think this is just a news site and that everything is notable. Haha, too late, she already read it.--WillC 04:17, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
I'm at a point I don't care about changes much anymore. I use to watch Edge's article, but that was always more your project than mine so I never knew what should and shouldn't be changed. I watch Cage's article more these days. Not many bother the TNA articles anymore, which is nice I guess. Less problems! She laughed after she read it yesterday. I like that song, playing it right now. Doesn't bother me if you want too. What do you suggest? At the moment, the main stuff I am working on is Gail Kim for Nikki and Gangrel for you. I might pull a list or two out if I become bored with those.--WillC 22:26, 22 July 2010 (UTC)

No problem, got it on my watchlist. If I catch any changes, I'll take care of them like I saw last night. Yeah, I laughed, then she read it and she laughed. I had forgot about that song, until a few weeks ago it started playing in the car on the way to her house. I placed it on my playlist and been listing to it here and there since. Was listening to Say Anything's Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too a second ago though. Sounds good I guess. Maybe List of TNA World Heavyweight Champions or something else. Possibly updating some of the WWE FLs.--WillC 22:44, 22 July 2010 (UTC)

Oh nice, I don't listen to music much anymore..only when I have time. Yeah, that GT we keep trying to do. Well I do have a list of articles that I have been meaning to do though. So I could probably work on each one of those afterwards. I need to get the stuff I have already had planned before taking on new work. One of the problems I've always had, I got ahead of myself.--WillC 23:24, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
Looks good to me. They don't care, to them this is a wrestling site for fans. It is all about that fictional world to them. Even when I first began writing, I wasn't writing like a news reporter as if every single thing was important and in a first-person view. No, I'm not even sure if I want to do that stuff. At the moment, I'm working on Gail Kim while you work on your current project. Kim is almost finished anyway. A day or two maybe at most for it. When you are done, I'll be ready to do Gangrel while you do E&C.--WillC 23:53, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
Fine with me, I can speed up. Don't worry! If I want, I can do alot rather quickly. Good luck with the 30 Rock Stuff. I'm not a big fan of SNL related stuff though. I have always considered MadTv better than SNL.--WillC 05:36, 24 July 2010 (UTC)

Okay, not sure if you've seen my talk page, but a few problems stopped me this pasted week from getting online. That is sloved for the time being. So soon I should be starting work on Gangrel, thought to come by and tell you I'm back and I can't wait to work with you again.--WillC 04:06, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, okay. Wasn't sure if you saw, it just hit me out of the blue. But now I can get back online, so soon we'll finally finish that topic.--WillC 20:15, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

We are half-way through our penultimate round, and nothing is yet certain. Pool A, currently led by Hungary Sasata (submissions) has ended up the more competitive, with three contestants (Hungary Sasata (submissions), Colorado Sturmvogel_66 (submissions) and New Orleans TonyTheTiger (submissions)) scoring over 500 points already. Pool B is led by New South Wales Casliber (submissions), who has also scored well over 500. The top two from each pool, as well as the next four highest scorers regardless of pool, will make it through to our final eight. As ever, anything you worry may not receive the necessary attention before the end of the round (such as outstanding GA or FA nominations) is welcome at Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews, and please remember to continue offering reviews yourself where possible. As always, the judges are available to contact via email, IRC or their talk pages, and general discussion about the Cup is welcome on the WikiCup talk page.

Planning has begun for the 2011 WikiCup, with open discussions concerning scoring and flags for next year's competition. Contributions to those discussions would be appreciated, especially concerning the flags, as next year's signups cannot begin until the flag issue has been resolved. Signups will hopefully open at some point in this round, with discussion about possible changing in the scoring/process opening some time afterwards.

Earlier this round, we said goodbye to Pennsylvania Hunter Kahn (submissions), who has bowed out to spend more time on the book he is authoring with his wife. We wish him all the best. In other news, the start of this round also saw some WikiCup awards sent out by Finland Suomi Finland 2009 (submissions). We appreciate his enthusiasm, and contestants are of course welcome to award each other prizes as they see fit, but rest assured that we will be sending out "official" awards at the end of the competition. Hello

How the hell have you been? I'm fine. What are you working on nowadays? I'm working on "Bad Romance" for FA. Sighhh, I was hoping for an "Awesome Wikipedia Day" for July 16, but alas! That was my b'day :( — Legolas (talk2me) 05:44, 3 August 2010 (UTC)

Ughh, I know, Justin and Colplay is taking so long to release their albums. About "Telephone", ya know I will make it GA soon. :) Just got held up at the Madonna articles and my marriage is coming up, so kinda busy with that too. :) *Scared shit about it though* — Legolas (talk2me) 03:13, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
I know, getting cold feet is such a bride thing, not the groom actually. But oh well, its not up till October, so I will be here till then. About "Telephone", I was actually waiting for "Alejandro" to go down the charts, so that I can nominate them together, looks like the time has come now. I can understand about Coldplay, Viva la Vida came in 2008, but Justin? FutureSex came in 2006! Hope he doesnot suffer Xtina's fate with Bionic. Anyways, tell me, have you ever promoted any film article to GA or FA? If so, will you take a look at the Madonna film W.E.? Just check if what I'm doing is correct. — Legolas (talk2me) 03:16, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
That would be a real help. Doesn't seem like the film is releasing this year. Ya know MAdonna's acting ability. I won't be that surprised if it tanks too. And woohoo for Coldplay's new music! But I thought they put the extra stufff in Prospekt's March EP? No? — Legolas (talk2me) 03:35, 6 August 2010 (UTC)
I'm sure its gonna be another epic album, I loved every track on Viva la Vida and Prospekt's March EP. Looks like Timberlake is busy with that movie, hence not recording any studio album. But good news that Maroon 5 is back. — Legolas (talk2me) 03:53, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
Yes, I believe "Misery" is slowly rising the Hot 100. Although the song scene has changed considerably since their last album came out. Its more dance-pop kinda songs that become instant hit. "Viva la Vida" is also one of my favourite song, and its legacy is that it instantly became my favourite after first play. No other song, not even Madonna's could make it! lol — Legolas (talk2me) 03:23, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
